With inflation still raging in the country, the few amenities this office use to offer (free nail clipping when having a visit for medical or medications) is now not offered. Nail clipping has gone up from $20.00 to $25.00 (for what takes a technician about 3 minutes to accomplish). I understand from another client that you now even have to make an appointment to pick up medication. There are far too many other vets in the area for this clinic to start these new practices as this will certain affect their ability to attract new clients and retain it's current clients. A little goes a long way today in business.

He sent us home with instructions to buy famotidine over the counter, give it to my dog to reduce the high liver enzymes and bring him back in 2 weeks. I went to CVS for the medication which turned out to be Pepcid a drug to treat acid indigestion. After some internet research I found the famotidine has abslutely no effect on liver enzymes and, in fact, may harm the liver in certain circunstances. I will find a vet that is actually interested in the well being of my dog.

(to no fault at all of NorthPaws - to make that very clear) I knew what we were going there for and that he would not be coming home with me... With that being said : I never met a more caring staff. Every step of the way - I had a nice person around the corner. My time preparing myself was not easy - I tried to convince myself that maybe I wasn't doing the right thing... and I sat there for what seemed like forever holding him - crying... and I heard a light knock on the door... it was the vet... she came to answer any questions I had ... She spoke in such a kind and caring way... she sat with me and explained everything I needed to hear in such a calm quiet voice. It just honestly showed me how much she cared about her patients and the owners no matter how long you have been with them. Dr. Perry was absolutely the best part of a really crappy situation. I found out the day before…read morethat my cat was at the end of his life, and I've had him for 14 years. I didn't want him to be in pain and didn't have a lot of options, but Dr. Perry had an opening and made sure to let me know the whole process before the appointment so I knew what to expect. She showed up, explained what she was going to be doing again, and then said she's going to prep the sedative while we prepared. I held my cat the entire time he was getting sedated and set him down afterwards to let him get the final injection which was incredibly quick. Afterwards Dr. Perry let us have some more time to say goodbye, then took him to get cremated and gave us a timeframe for how long that should take. On the day his ashes were coming back to us she let us know as well. Overall she provides an amazing service for the absolutely worst time you can have, and was caring and compassionate the entire time. I don't want to have to reach out to her in the future, but I have more pets, so I'm sure we're going to, and I know that we'll have a vet who cares at the end of the day.

On September 17th our son called upon Dr. Perry to help his English Cream Golden Retriever cross…read morethe rainbow bridge. The whole family was crushed and emotional as you can imagine. Dr. Perry traveled to his home and was totally professional and compassionate. She explained the whole process step by step and provided a peaceful home atmosphere. She took the time to answer any questions before proceeding. She allowed us private time between each step by stepping away each time. Although this was a very difficult time, Dr. Perry was loving and caring, knowing how devastating this time was for Steve's family. I was honored to prepare him for departure with her and she was all so gentle. As we placed him in her SUV, she gave me time to give him one last hug. Dr. Perry promised me she would take very good care of him and deliver him to the crematory lovingly. She then gave a hug and said she was so sorry. All of her services from coming to the home and until Steve was hand delivered back home was 12 days. His urn and paw prints are amazing which is all part of her total package. Dr. Perry provides such a wonderful service with the utmost professional, caring and loving experience. The whole family definitely wants to share our experience with Dr. Perry and wants others to know your precious fur baby is being handled with love and compassion through and through during such a difficult time.
