Tom & Adriana are absolutely wonderful people, they both are helpful, and authentic energy about them. Tom literally fixed five of my wife's eye frame while Adriana helped advise me on what frames would look best on me. I miss businesses like this, we will be back. read more

I wore a pair of Giorgio Armani eyeglasses for more than 15 years. (yes, I know, but they looked great and I really liked them). Every time I changed prescriptions, I couldn't find another pair I liked, so I stayed with the Armani. This past summer I really needed to update my prescription again...and my trusted Armani eyeglasses were really starting to wear and show their age. UGH! I first looked at the chain stores in and around the Galleria area. Nothing. Couldn't find a pair I liked at all. I then shopped at independent optical shops in the Galleria area, West U, Montrose, Tanglewood and a few out in the burbs. All had nice brands and styles, but found nothing I really liked. A friend of mine recommended Eye Elegance. Like some of the more upscale optical shops I visited, Eye Elegance was a very nice shop with great brands. As I shopped at different optical shops, I kept coming back to Eye Elegance. Each time, I happened to speak with a different person. I was very impressed with the knowledge of the staff and selection, quality of brands and styles. (These people know their stuff!!) I finally selected a pair by Oliver Peoples. OK. Now about price. I have to say, the frames and lenses were on the pricy side, more than I planned to spend (that's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars). There were other optical shops I visited that sold the Oliver Peoples (and other brands) and lenses for a bit less, and one or two shops for a bit more. But the service and product knowledge at Eye Elegance were excellent. The best I have ever experienced. Since eyeglasses are worn on your face, and your face is the most noticeable thing people see, I think your eyeglasses should look great, feel great and serve as an extension of your personal brand. Sometimes, I don't mind paying more for great quality and service. I feel I got exceptional quality and service at Eye Elegance. read more

Top notch service with very knowledgable associates who care that you find your right fit. I do not have a nose bridge so finding a pair of comfortable glasses that look good is very difficult to do. Luckily, they offer a service to attach notepads to eyeglasses that do not have them! Adrianna worked with me and explained the different parts of different styles of eyeglasses and what parts of the face they do/don't help. She also took the time to measure my eyes with my glasses on to ensure that the focal point (whatever it's called) would be correctly placed on my glasses (I've never had this done before), which was very cool! Overall, I feel like they really care here and go out of their way to explain everything to you so that you are the most comfortable in your glasses. read more

Love, love, love the optical glasses Eye Elegance created. They were able to customize the shape of the lenses and combine them with a minimalistic Lindberg frame. Their attention to detail is second to none. Will definitely be back and highly recommend for those who are rather particular. read more

The optician I worked with has an engineering degree and been in this field for over 30 years. He has great recommendations for making the glasses look as good as they can. The frames are unique and unlike stuff you see at the chains. Staff is fun, friendly and very helpful. They helped my step-son find the perfect pair for his new, high profile job in Division I Athletics. He will look really sharp for his new job! read more

I normally like to keep my favorite places a secret lol but I've kept this place in my personal vault for too long. I absolutely love Eye Elegance. I love purchasing new frames, it's therapeutic. Nicholas knows exactly what I like and to be honest since I've shopped there for so long the amount of time I'm in there when I go has dramatically decreased. I walk in and he knows exactly what I'll like and will fit well on my face. I went recently and probably spend about 7 minutes in there total. I need him to start giving me some options that we both know aren't exactly for me just so that I can spend more time in the store. Again, I absolutely love this place. Love the staff at both locations. Always a pleasant experience. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the eyewear is so unique and I'm sure you won't find anything like it around! read more

After having the same pair of glasses for nine years, I recently purchased a pair of Oliver Peoples glasses from Eye Elegance and I could not be happier! I worked with Crystal who was both patient and knowledgeable. She made sure I looked good in the frames I chose and that they fit correctly. I was also impressed with the variety of frames available! Some of them were so unique and different, which I really liked. The level of customer service I had was unlike anything I've ever experienced! I felt well taken care of from the moment I walked in, to the moment I left with my new glasses. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone :) read more

I love this place! They sell one of a kind original frames that you won't see someone else wearing. It's almost like if you see a really amazing and awesome pair of glasses on someone, they are probably from Eye Elegance! It's like owning a Bentley pair of glasses. They are just way cool! They are expensive, but your glasses will ROCK! I saw a comment where someone said they cater to "alternative lifestyles". I guess if you consider kindness and being Christ like "alternative", then, yes they are an indeed an alternative to the self righteous bigots in the world. Squeak is the sales person who helps me. She has the love of God in her heart and in what she does. I love her and when I am feeling sad or having a crappy day, sometimes I will stop in just to say hello. She doesn't just sell glasses, she becomes friends with the people she helps. She has helped me and my husband both find amazing glasses. I highly recommend this store! read more

Very nice store, with very knowledgeable staff. Although I ended up getting a pair of glasses somewhere else, I appreciated the courtesy of the staff, and I loved the glasses that I was shown. It's a bit pricey, but I can see there's a reason for that. Great detail and professionalism read more

TOP NOTCH SERVICE & SELECTION ~ they just relocated from Highland Village to Montrose and I love the new location. They have the best selection of frames and I love my David Yurman eyeglass and sunglass frames/lenses that I purchased from Eye Elegance. i have been going there for at least the past 3 years and I can't imagine going anywhere else. They are worth the trip even if they weren't so close. read more

I had broken off the leg of my glasses, and after having them soldered the leg sat much wider than it should have. I made a makeshift fix and accepted that's how they would fit. They constantly slid down my nose, so I decided to see if they could actually be fixed. I walked into Eye Elegance and someone came to help me soon after I arrived. After explaining what happened, they said to wait one second. They walked into the back and about a minute later came back with my glasses, but they fit like new! I was in and out in 5 minutes. Really great and quick service. read more

I recently visited the store after being underwhelmed with chain location frames. As soon as I entered I was happily greeted by the staff and shown many frame options. Sonja and Eric were very helpful in narrowing down the right fit for my face. The frame selection was vast and unique which allowed a great shopping experience. After multiple visits I purchased the perfect eyewear. If you are in the market for glasses, I would highly recommend you stop by to see the selection. My experience was great and I will definitely be back. read more

Great service, no high pressure sales. I've been a customer for 15 yrs. if you're a Lindberg frame addict, this is the place.

They sell overpriced European frames that are UGLY, have too much color, and are made for "alternative" types. Female salesperson is pushy as can be but can't really sell that well. If you want to be fitted in an ugly pair of frames that don't even look that good on you nor is presentable in today's world, then come on over. read more

I love the selection of frames at Eye Elegance. They are definitely pricey, but the frames are also very unique. I have had my current frames for a year or so and I still have strangers commenting on my cool glasses frequently. I wear glasses every waking moment, and I save up so I can indulge on a good pair of glasses. If I could afford it, I would have several pairs. The staff at Eye Elegance are very cordial and helpful. I will be back as soon as I get my eyes checked this year--can't wait to see what new specs there are to choose from! read more

I have worn glasses since second grade and each time I get a new pair of glasses I am always very disappointed in how much my lenses stick out. I have a pair of Burberry frames that I love dearly and was just looking to get the lenses replaced. I walked into Eye Elegance with the idea of just changing out lenses but ended up with a whole new pair of glasses! Nick was amazing, he asked me to keep an open mind and then emphasized on how good my prescription would look in these frames. I tried on the frames and instantly fell in love! After much consideration I decided to go with these fantastic and ultra flattering Theo frames. They have an understated uniqueness to them. Theo is a brand that I've only seen at Eye Elegance. The frames are lightweight and durable. After ordering my glasses and waiting a week (standard for my prescription) I got a call letting me know my glasses were ready for pick up. Assuming that my lenses were going to be hideously sticking out of the frames I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome my prescription looked in the frames! They were right! The staff at Eye Elegance knows that they're doing. They definitely go that extra mile for you. After seeing that my glasses didn't sit as well as he'd like on my face Danny did some necessary and tedious tweaking to make them fit perfectly. They have a way of making your glasses truly yours. I have received many compliments on my frames and even worn them out to parties. I have also started wearing my contacts less too. I don't think I would go anywhere else for glasses. read more

I wouldn't go anywhere else. They have a great selection of frames and the customer service is fantastic. Both Hugo and Adriana spend an incredible amount of time making sure your frames look good, fit well, and that you are happy with your purchase. read more

I have been looking for the perfect new pair of every day glasses for two years, and while I ultimately didn't choose a frame from here, I wanted to say that the staff here is wonderful. I visited several times over the two years to see what had newly come in. They carry Lindberg, LA Eyeworks, Oliver People's, face a face, and some other funky brands. They will really work with you and take time to help you find a flattering pair, considering your face shape, coloring, occupation and general style. The long haired blonde woman (sorry I can't remember your name) had the best recommendations for my sense of style. read more
