Top notch service with very knowledgable associates who care that you find your right fit. I do not have a nose bridge so finding a pair of comfortable glasses that look good is very difficult to do. Luckily, they offer a service to attach notepads to eyeglasses that do not have them! Adrianna worked with me and explained the different parts of different styles of eyeglasses and what parts of the face they do/don't help. She also took the time to measure my eyes with my glasses on to ensure that the focal point (whatever it's called) would be correctly placed on my glasses (I've never had this done before), which was very cool! Overall, I feel like they really care here and go out of their way to explain everything to you so that you are the most comfortable in your glasses. read more

I wore a pair of Giorgio Armani eyeglasses for more than 15 years. (yes, I know, but they looked great and I really liked them). Every time I changed prescriptions, I couldn't find another pair I liked, so I stayed with the Armani. This past summer I really needed to update my prescription again...and my trusted Armani eyeglasses were really starting to wear and show their age. UGH! I first looked at the chain stores in and around the Galleria area. Nothing. Couldn't find a pair I liked at all. I then shopped at independent optical shops in the Galleria area, West U, Montrose, Tanglewood and a few out in the burbs. All had nice brands and styles, but found nothing I really liked. A friend of mine recommended Eye Elegance. Like some of the more upscale optical shops I visited, Eye Elegance was a very nice shop with great brands. As I shopped at different optical shops, I kept coming back to Eye Elegance. Each time, I happened to speak with a different person. I was very impressed with the knowledge of the staff and selection, quality of brands and styles. (These people know their stuff!!) I finally selected a pair by Oliver Peoples. OK. Now about price. I have to say, the frames and lenses were on the pricy side, more than I planned to spend (that's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars). There were other optical shops I visited that sold the Oliver Peoples (and other brands) and lenses for a bit less, and one or two shops for a bit more. But the service and product knowledge at Eye Elegance were excellent. The best I have ever experienced. Since eyeglasses are worn on your face, and your face is the most noticeable thing people see, I think your eyeglasses should look great, feel great and serve as an extension of your personal brand. Sometimes, I don't mind paying more for great quality and service. I feel I got exceptional quality and service at Eye Elegance. read more

Nicholas knows exactly what I like and to be honest since I've shopped there for so long the amount of time I'm in there when I go has dramatically decreased. I walk in and he knows exactly what I'll like and will fit well on my face. I went recently and probably spend about 7 minutes in there total. The frames are unique and unlike stuff you see at the chains. Staff is fun, friendly and very helpful. I love this place! They sell one of a kind original frames that you won't see someone else wearing. It's almost like if you see a really amazing and awesome pair of glasses on someone, they are probably from Eye Elegance! It's like owning a Bentley pair of glasses. They are just way cool! I had broken off the leg of my glasses, and after having them soldered the leg sat much wider than it should have. I made a makeshift fix and accepted that's how they would fit. They constantly slid down my nose, so I decided to see if they could actually be fixed. I walked into Eye Elegance and someone came to help me soon after I arrived. After explaining what happened, they said to wait one second. They walked into the back and about a minute later came back with my glasses, but they fit like new! I was in and out in 5 minutes. They sell overpriced European frames that are UGLY, have too much color, and are made for "alternative" types. Female salesperson is pushy as can be but can't really sell that well. I love the selection of frames at Eye Elegance. They are definitely pricey, but the frames are also very unique. I have had my current frames for a year or so and I still have strangers commenting on my cool glasses frequently. I wear glasses every waking moment, and I save up so I can indulge on a good pair of glasses. If I could afford it, I would have several pairs. The staff at Eye Elegance are very cordial and helpful. I have worn glasses since second grade and each time I get a new pair of glasses I am always very disappointed in how much my lenses stick out. I have a pair of Burberry frames that I love dearly and was just looking to get the lenses replaced. I walked into Eye Elegance with the idea of just changing out lenses but ended up with a whole new pair of glasses! Nick was amazing, he asked me to keep an open mind and then emphasized on how good my prescription would look in these frames. I tried on the frames and instantly fell in love! After much consideration I decided to go with these fantastic and ultra flattering Theo frames. They have an understated uniqueness to them. Theo is a brand that I've only seen at Eye Elegance. The frames are lightweight and durable. After ordering my glasses and waiting a week (standard for my prescription) I got a call letting me know my glasses were ready for pick up. Assuming that my lenses were going to be hideously sticking out of the frames I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome my prescription looked in the frames! They were right! The staff at Eye Elegance knows that they're doing. They definitely go that extra mile for you. After seeing that my glasses didn't sit as well as he'd like on my face Danny did some necessary and tedious tweaking to make them fit perfectly. They have a way of making your glasses truly yours.
