This has to be the most incompetent office I've ever been to in my life. Worse customer service I've ever had and they lack empathy. Do not go here read more

I scheduled appts for my husband and daughter to get exams and all went well. My daughter who was insured completed the full process and received her glasses. My husband who was a cash pay patient, decided to wait until our budget allowed for full payment of the frames he wanted. A few months pass and we end up finding another vendor within our budget to get the pair he wanted. All we needed to provide was the prescription from his last exam. I call Eye Central and request it and am told I need to send an email request, I comply and return the information to the new vendor. The new vendor shares the exam is incomplete missing the PD measurements. Husband calls Eye Central and is told there is an additional fee for this because he didn't purchase any glasses from them. Annoyed because we already paid for an exam, I call later that week and am told there is zero fee for said missing information. I'm told we could just walk in for this so we plan the trip from Haughton into our schedule. By this time my daughter has broken her glasses and is no longer insured either. We decide to request her prescription as well so we can just order both from the new vendor. My husband goes to pick up the prescriptions and do this final part of the exam. He's denied without first paying an additional fee and is given another incomplete prescription. My daughter who did receive glasses there was also given a incomplete prescription too. As the customers, I'm failing to understand how the fee was paid but yet more needs to be paid for what we already paid for in the first place? Secondly, my daughter who did "purchase" glasses from them is still missing the same information? Your policies are inconsistent and have been a waste of my time. If this is what's being displayed to the public I can only imagine what a dumpster fire is happening internally. read more

I was genuinely excited about going to this location. Especially since it was recommended by several people I know. I do understand that things happen in life to the people who run businesses. I totally believe that communication is key in all situations. I went in for an eye exam on 6/20/2025. Pretty standard stuff. Picked out glasses. Still standard. I was told my glasses would be in in about 1to 2 weeks. 2 weeks go by. I call on 7/4/2025. and I am told that they have to get in contact with the insurance company. Not sure why since I was charged $167 for my glasses. I then proceed to wait another week and decided to wait until Monday to drive over and speak to someone in person. I was told the same thing. Let me call the insurance company. The lady then proceeded to tell me to give her a week. I did. Still no glasses a week later. I call in again and was told the same exact thing. Now here's the kicker: I called one more time and the lady Marie said my glasses would be in transit and give it a couple days. I gave it 3 days. On 7/31/2025 I called to inquire about my glasses AGAIN! I was told by Marie that they should be in shortly and I would get a text. I had to be to work at 3 that day. I got a text from Eye Central at 3:25 pm stating my glasses were ready for pick up. Couldn't get there so I decided I would wait until the next day. Myself and 3 other people were at Eye Central's office and nothing. No one said anything? No one called us or even put anything on social media that the offices were closed. Poor communication all around. And here it is Monday August 4th and the office was closed still. I was there at 7:55 am and waited until 8:30 am to drive off. Suffice it to say, I will NOT be coming to this place ever again! read more

Complete waste of time and money. The VA sent me to them for my eye exam. The elderly dr who performed my eye exam had zero personality and ignored any questions I asked. Regrettably, I purchased a pair of glasses through them. Initially they told me they were giving me a $200 discount they offer to veterans. Then later they said I could not have that discount since I had insurance. I later found out they tell everyone they get a $200 discount so they will sit down to buy glasses but don't actually give it. The glasses I received were defective with a bad spring and they even told me they wouldn't last long. In addition, the prescription seems to be off because my vision is not nearly as improved as it was with my previous glasses. I also later found out I paid 3x as much for my lenses as I would have paid elsewhere. They milked both me and the insurance company for as much as they could and then delivered garbage. They tell me nothing can be done because insurance paid 100% for the eye exam and for the frames. I have very good vision insurance but still paid over $200 out of pocket for the lenses. Of course the lenses they overcharged me for were based on their bad prescription but doesn't matter. I don't know if there is any fine print I can go back on with them because when I signed and paid for the glasses they didn't give me any paperwork or receipt copy. I disputed the charge with my credit card company less than 30 days from purchase but without any documentation support I'm not holding my breath. Avoid this place! They tell me they can't do anything because read more

August 7th, I visited their office, in Shreveport, Louisiana, on Jewella Avenue, to get eye classes. I wear bifocals. I ordered a combination of things on my glasses: tent and a type of sun and light protection, "Ultra anti reflection" lens (cost $69.00). When I picked up my glasses and went outside, i noticed the lens' color didn't change in the sun. I immediately went back inside and informed the staff. They seemed surprised ... then looked at the order, and said, oh yes, the insurance company informed us that these two items together cannot be put on my bifocal lens. Therefore, Eye Central was to refund me $72 (with the tax)... but said the lady who writes the check was not in because she just had a baby. Now, it is September 9th, Eye Central is still telling me "the lady" who writes the check "just had a baby," and has not been in to write my refund check. I insisted on speaking with the owners of the business. This led to more confusing talk from the receptionist. I learned from her, the owners are Drs. Bradley and Amy Larson who apparently is not in the office because "they work out of their home," but still their numbers cannot be given out. There is something crazy going on here. read more
