Dr Clifton was respectful and didn't show annoyance with my children if they did annoy her. It was like having a family member check their eyes. They did. (Though I would recommend calling and booking ahead. You can book your appointment online.) The doctor was prompt, cheerful and thorough. The entire staff made direct and purposeful eye contact, was pleasant, attentive and efficient. The optician who helped me was pleasant and knowledgeable. She assisted me in choosing frames and lens features. She was a great rep for the office. I can't remember her name. Shame on me. I received a call when my order was ready. My glasses arrived in a week. When I arrived I was seen within a few minutes by a fabulous lady named Bea, who adjusted my frames and gave me care instructions. She was extremely pleasant and more than polite. She even called me by my name when I walked in. Impressive. I received precisely what I had ordered. My glasses indeed were two for the price of one. Not the least expensive glasses either. I purchased two pairs of excellent quality glasses for $30 less than my last single pair! This is where I will go next time I need new glasses. They also have a membership good for years of free exams and membership incentives! Overall this has been a great beginning for a long association.

Laser enhancement surgery did not correct this issue and any further surgery is a bigger risk after laser surgery and is not recommended. The monofocal lens that was fully covered by insurance is perfect. I requested a partial refund and it was denied because I was told they didn't do anything wrong. The best they will do is refer me to a different doctor where insurance probably won't cover any expense and they won't help financially. The people couldn't be nicer but I'm the only 1 out $3000 under their advice to get the multifocal when the monofocal would have probably worked better or at least as well and insurance would've covered 100% of the cost. After several revisits and the eye always looking perfect it has gotten no better so something is wrong and now I'll be out more money or just have to live with it. I don't believe a partial refund was too much to ask for since I didn't do anything wrong, there is obviously a problem and they just don't know???

He may exhibit skill in the surgery room, but in the examining room, he's lacking. My husband, who came with me to every exam, used the words "curt" and "difficult". If I had know that he had such bad bedside manners, I would never have chose him as my surgeon.
