My husband, who came with me to every exam, used the words "curt" and "difficult". If I had know that he had such bad bedside manners, I would never have chose him as my surgeon. After having cataract surgery at Bossier Eye Institue on both eyes and advised to get a $3000…read moremultifocal lens in the better of my 2 eyes more than 6 months ago my vision still isn't clear. Laser enhancement surgery did not correct this issue and any further surgery is a bigger risk after laser surgery and is not recommended. The monofocal lens that was fully covered by insurance is perfect. I requested a partial refund and it was denied because I was told they didn't do anything wrong. The best they will do is refer me to a different doctor where insurance probably won't cover any expense and they won't help financially. The people couldn't be nicer but I'm the only 1 out $3000 under their advice to get the multifocal when the monofocal would have probably worked better or at least as well and insurance would've covered 100% of the cost. After several revisits and the eye always looking perfect it has gotten no better so something is wrong and now I'll be out more money or just have to live with it. I don't believe a partial refund was too much to ask for since I didn't do anything wrong, there is obviously a problem and they just don't know???
