The self-guided tour takes 1 to 3 hours to walk through the entire 2 Km trail, considered a "promenade theatre". The event runs from Oct 3 to Nov 2 in 2024, starting at 19:00 until late. A group of us went on 2024-10-04. A few audience members even dressed up in Halloween costumes. The cheapest tickets are $45 (Oct 3 to Oct 17) or $55 (Oct 18 to Nov 2) when purchased online. They don't allow use of flash photography so they will search you bags for flashes. The trail starts at a gate at the north-east corner of Walmer Rd and Davenport Rd. It traverses the grounds and tunnels of Casa Loma. The first portion of the trail has live and undead horror characters/animals that can pop up at any time. They never touch you and you must not touch them. Then you enter a hall where you can purchase drinks and snacks, with a live DJ to entertain you. After that, there is a 3D projection on the exterior of the castle, bringing the characters of the storyline and walls of the castle to life. Then you go through tunnels with fewer live or undead characters. Family hours are available Oct 18 to Nov 2 (17:00 to 18:30). It is for families with younger children, and less dark. There will be no live/undead characters. There are so many characters and animals to scare you. There are different themes like werewolves, Dracula, Stranger Things, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed it. We took 3 hours. Everything was well-done. Alcoholic drinks cost around $9-$20. Outside food or drinks are not allowed The trail is not wheelchair accessible. This was our first return to Putting Edge since they moved into the Colossus plaza after the huge…read morefacility they had near IKEA/Dave and Buster's. We were a bit skeptical of how it would measure up, because it's in a much smaller unit, but we turned out pleasantly impressed. The one obvious improvement is that it's newer than the old facility, but it's been a few years since they moved. Yet, it is still very fresh and clean. We booked our tickets online prior to going, as recommended on their website, to avoid any wait behind others to get started. Sure enough, we only had to wait a couple of minutes once we arrived to get started. In the meantime, we wandered among the arcade amusements you can enjoy. You can purchase ticket packages in bulk if you want to enjoy the arcade machines and games in lieu of or in addition to your mini golf experience. We were handed out putters and able to choose what colour glow-in-dark ball we wanted. We were able to begin right away. Throughout the entire 18 holes, we rarely had to worry about waiting on people ahead of us, or causing delay to anyone behind. It wasn't perfect, but it was a testament to how well they manage to stagger entrants. All of the holes were different, in terms of layout and paint design. Everything was aesthetically pleasing. The challenge level was a good medium so that you don't want to scream with frustration, but not so easy as to make it absolutely boring. I'd say we spent maybe 90 minutes or so in total to complete the course. We were asked if we'd like to have a scorecard to keep track, which we did. It wasn't always easy keeping up, moving along, and writing scores on the fly, but it made it a little more fun to keep the competitive streak running. We dropped our putters off before exiting the course and were done. It was a great family activity, which I'd recommend with any group you might want to play with. They also offer party packages, with a full sized party area to accommodate a celebratory meal. We'll definitely return every so often for a fun, family experience.

It features many different artists from around the world. The exhibits are immersive with some that includes participation like this year's Cloud Swing (where people swing under light clouds). Each show piece is very different in theme and they are different over the years. I've been all three years. For some reason, the nights chosen have always been cold (at least my fingers freeze when taking pictures/videos! Luckily there are shops and restaurants you can enter to warm up.

The place's theme was sustainability ad protecting the earth, and they made it pretty engaging. There are also things to interact with and watch. The VR with the tablets was actually surprisingly cool. Each room in the experience was so spectacularly made that it was breathtaking. Finally, the virtual reality experience at the end was one of the coolest things I have ever done in Toronto. Before you go, note that it is heavily reliant on technology. It is also best to have storage to download the app on your phone, unless you want to borrow a tablet. This was a cool experience that I would recommend for people of all ages.

I love how they combine art + technology to teach about climate change in a way that's easy for kids to understand. The VR feature and interactive elements were fun, and it's definitely a great place for families or anyone looking for something different to do in Toronto. That said, for the price (~$39), it may feel a bit short for some people, and it's more of a "go once" type of experience. Still, I appreciate the message behind it and think it's worth checking out at least once--especially with kids!

There are several rooms here, the centerpiece is the great hall... a wonderfully large room with a stage that's outstanding for theater troupes, lectures or large meetings. With it's massive space, interesting acoustics and good sight-lines, there's also the obvious... you could throw a killer party in here. There are other rooms on the main floor. It's a surprisingly good floor-plan for both separation of space and ease of use. Downstairs there are several breakout rooms, classrooms and a giant kitchen. The rumour is that the actual piano that Oscar Petersen learned on in Montreal is sitting detuned in the back of the main stage. Avant-garde groups in the city have been onto this place for a year. It's been rented for everything from conferences and showcases to math-groups and chess clubs. They'll work with you to arrange liquor permits, and are incredibly cool to partner with.

Located just a hop, skip or a stumble away from the Bathurst Subway station, an in an area with more than adequate street parking (within certain hours), 918 is a hidden event venue gem that you actually might mistake as a church - and you'd be right one bc this little beauty used to be a Buddhist temple! The aesthetic is a tad dated in some spots but you can tell they're working hard at modernizing the place more and more while retaining the original charm of the venue. The secondary room and basement are brand new, while the entrance way and the main "ball room" look more original. What I love about this spot? It's the perfect raw space, and you could literally plan anything from a wedding, gala, or trade show to even a concert or speaking engagement here. It's got that look that's the right fit for just about anything - just need to use your imagination!

Considering that I live under a rock thanks to work, I managed to do a search online and said yes. She described the event as being Cirque du Soleil meets horses. She bought the tickets and I paid her back for my ticket. I drove us over there. Parking by the white tents at Hershey Centre went for $15. There was plenty of parking when we got there ten minutes before the show started. You can pay for parking at any cashier. The woman at the will-call area was friendly and helpful. The only improvement suggestion that I have would be to have more staff guiding folks to seats. My friend and I had no trouble finding our seats. However, two women disputed where we sat. We move, checked the section and seats, and told them that they were mistaken. They apologized profusely. Luckily, were were all understanding. The performance was wonderful. I was wondering how all the horses would endure. They seemed well-treated and behaved. The trainers, performers, and horses showed patience, confidence, grace, and skill. Whomever decided to incorporate horses in a beautifully choreographed show is brilliant! Intermission was thirty minutes. I am guessing that the horses needed more time to rest and replenish. My friend and I looked at the gift store goodies, snacks, and artwork that you could purchase. If you have a chance to see this show, go! It's so different. I had a great time with great company. Saw Cavalia's "Odysseo" in Mississauga with a large group of seven on June 23, 2017…read more We got the VIP package which included a dinner buffet before the show, open bar (wine and beer), and dessert buffet during intermission, access to the stables after the show, and a souvenir (book). I think the package was quite worth it: The pre-show buffet was quite good. It seemed like there was a bit of a Mediterranean taste to the buffet with couscous and pita bread. There was also smoked salmon, shrimp, kale salad, and pasta. The steak sirloin pieces were star of the buffet. They were tender, and grilled an excellent medium. There weren't too many different items; the buffet was more quality over quantity. There was also a station serving mini-sliders, pizza, and popcorn. You could bring the popcorn into the show to snack on. The open bar served wine and beer, but you could also get a variety of soft drinks and bottled water you could bring into the show. So, for the $40-or-so upgrade you almost get your money's worth right there. The dessert buffet during the intermission was a nice treat too. You went back to the separate VIP tent, and a selection of cakes, pastries, fruits, and other sweets. The bar was open again too. Perhaps the only downside was that you only got 30 minutes, so by the time you came over from your seats you didn't have much time. The VIP passes allowed access to the stables after the show. You had to wait a little bit while they got the horses settled, but once we were allowed in you could walk around and see the horses. You were not allowed to touch or feed them, but you could see the vet tech's attending to the horses after the show. There was also an opportunity to take photos with and get autographs from human performers. As for the performance itself, I came in with very high expectations and it exceeded them all. Having paid a lot of money and having seen 3 Cirque Du Soleil shows, I was worried I would feel let down by this show in the suburbs. I was mistaken. This was a truly high-quality show, to rival the entertainment you would get at any concert or sporting venue. I don't know anything about horses, or dressage, or such. And it didn't matter. Such large animals, moving so fast, in formation, almost dancing was impressive. The performers also did tricks with the animals that looked very impressive, like doing acrobatics and tricks in (and sometimes under) the saddles, and other rather dangerous-looking stunts. There was also a lot of performance quality from the non-equine, human performers. There was a troop of acrobats that performed very impressive feats of human athleticism. And there was impressive gymnastics-like work you would expect from a circus show. One particular scene with a "carousel" was particularly impressive. I've used the word impressive a lot, but that's the word that keeps coming to mind! It was all choreographed very beautifully, and time seemed to fly; the show never seemed to drag and I never checked my watch. One review I read before said the show was full of human and equine muscle. These performers with their 8-pack abs lived up to that moniker. The White Big Top tent was a performer itself. They truly transformed this empty field into a temporary stadium. It felt much larger inside than it appeared on the outside. At first I was concerned the stage was really small, but curtains rolled back throughout the show to reveal a rather large stage for the horses, acrobats, and other performers to perform. The use of screens and lighting were also very effective at conveying the different climates and topography they were trying to emulate. And their use of water was something that definitely would not have been possible in a stadium. The tent was a performer in itself! I did not take any photos during the show because they asked for no pictures or recordings, especially no flash photography. Quite a few people did though, which was disappointing, and a little rude. Perhaps the only reason I wouldn't rate it 5/5 stars, would be the price. It is a rather steep price for ticket. In an era where we're used to streaming content almost for free, spending $200+ for a show feels like an extravagant anachronism. I understand and I see why it was so expensive, and I feel we got a very high-quality performance, but I can see how the ticket price could discourage some people. And, I didn't like that we had to pay for parking, when parking at the Hershey Centre is normally free. But, as I said before, the show was impressive, an impressive merging of horseplay and gymnastics. It is pricey, but high-quality.

I love their drink station that serves alcohol. You pre-authorize a card with a payment method and away you go. It's an on-tap wall of an assortment of mixed drinks, coolers and beer. As you fill your cup, you can see the price increment of what you're pouring. You hang onto the card till you settle your tab. The staff mentioned that there is alcohol max that - should you reach it, you can go back to them to approve additional purchases (a way of controlling inebriation level I suppose). Very reasonable pricing and just fun to use. I could learn to love this self-bartending system. There is a sign that states if you lose the card, there's a $10 fee. So note to self, don't lose it or you might be buying for someone else and slapped with a fee. The rooms, which are the main event are fun. Some are somewhat challenging and some were less. All sorts of different types including physical and mental. Best to go with friends or a group of 4. There is a points objective for each room so the competitive drive of individuals may lead to a repeat of some rooms over and over until a score of 100 is achieved. It was really fun overall. Definitely a place to suggest to others and to consider for corporate team building outings.

The entire building belongs to them - so you can't really miss it - and they have plenty of parking. Interior is very big and spacious, like the use of different colours to make it very virbant - but also knowing which section of the themes you are going to. Staff were very nice - they helped explain the flow of what you do and how to earn your points. They actually also help answer questions where you might not understand how to play the rooms - which is really helpful cause some were confusing AF and the style of this place is to let you figure out how to break free. Gaming Setup So you can book by 2-hour or 3-hour or 90-minutes - all priced varied. I did 3 hours and after tax, it's around $46. 3 hour was plenty enough time for you to play - cause there's probably close to 30 games to try. Each game is setup differently where you have to incorporate a level of either mental, physical or skill power - meaning, one room is all about shooting balls into designated hoops; another room is being tactical to solve colour patterns; another room is being strategic to listen and pay attention to patterns. All rooms are co-op based - you can't really do it alone, so it's best to come with a group of 3-5 people. Overall, I did enjoy most of the games - some of them I wanted to re-try to score 100 points (max allowed) so I can increase my leaderboard score. I wouldn't say it's very physical, but do dress appropriately cause you will be moving around a lot. Again, if you don't get how to play it - either you can scan with your phone for a hint, or just ask the staff directly (it really helps!).
