For me, I generally only stop at joints like these to fill up my tank. I don't buy candy, lottery tickets, or other items of waste, unless it's beer, or wine. With this said, Hillbilly Hangout is a great store to stop in for a quick sixer, or bottle of vino. Seriously, who the hell would ever imagine that a gas station, in Flint, Texas, of all places, would have such an impressive selection of beer, and wine. It almost doubles as a second store. This the cleanest and most well run station in Tyler. And Shell gas does give my car better…read moremileage. 2.5 to 3 miles per gallon or better. It is in-advisable to run gas through an engine, especially a turbo engine, with gas that only has the minimum additives required by law. Shell gas has the extra additives to keep your engine running at its best efficiency and that will save you engine repairs. Plus, you will get more miles out of each gallon of gas you pay for.

The clerk inside was so nice with a smile. When I needed to know where the restrooms were she said, "it's to the right of that corner and it's clean". Aah, thank you! And correct she was the restrooms are outside and right around the corner. It is quite small, but was very spotless. In the back of the store was oil changes, inspection stickers, and car maintenance. There is a free vacuum station for when you fill up at every pump. I thought well that's pretty cool, but I had already cleaned my vehicle out. This filling station is the way to go if you want good service and long lasting gas. I filled up here in Tyler and it took me to my destination- Houston. Thank you!
