After my bout of searching, I eventually settled on Lakeview Auto. Upon entering the offices, I was greeted quite cheerfully by the employees! They were all extremely friendly, positive, and professional. As I was relaying the issues I was experiencing with the Jeep, my dog somehow escaped through an open window of my Jeep parked outside and without my knowledge, had followed me into the shop. The office personnel and the mechanics welcomed the "escapee" with open arms and rather than me having to return my dog back to the car, they allowed my dog to stay in the office for some extended petting sessions! The staff read me back my description of the issues with my Jeep, which they had dictated earlier. When they called me a few hours later to let me know the Jeep was repaired, I couldn't believe how quick they accomplished this! I always say, "it's more difficult to find a good auto mechanic than a good dentist". I rarely leave a review for any business, and when I do, it is only for two reasons: when the business was really terrible, or when the business is exceptional. He said that it is usually caused by carbon build up and for an other $70 hr could clear it up, I said go ahead. Of course it was zebras not horses and he diagnosed a leak in my intake. They didn't have the part to fix it but they pointed out that it was likely covered by the Hyundai warranty. Their diagnosis was right and it turned out that it was covered and I got it repaired free, score. These guys are honest, inexpensive and genuinely nice.
