We tried some of the fresh jerky from the counter, some brisket sandwiches (get the XXL one), a banana pudding, pralines, and candied pickle chips. The candied pickle chips were insanely good with the brisket sandwich. We need those in Canada. I have never seen them before and am obsessed. There are so many flavours of jerky. I recommend them all quite frankly. The pralines were good. The banana pudding was more vanilla than banana but it wasn't bad. I just love Buc-ee's and will actively go out of my way to visit in the future.

The tea is fresh and good quality. The food is cooked fresh to order so expect a little wait. Unfortunately, we found the burgers to be rather dry and not tender and juicy, like there wasn't enough fat in the beef. The beefy flavor was excellent, though, and it was well seasoned. These half pounders are ginormous and two people could share one. The fries were obviously freshly made and flavorwise were tasty, but they weren't crispy :( I might try this place again sometime as there's a lot going for it and I like to support small local businesses.
