One of the owners, Tito, was exceptionally kind and patient and provided some comforting words to my wife and to me. Our experience was the opposite of what you might expect from an impound lot and towing service. A-Tex has good people who do a good (and necessary) job at a fair price. But the personal interaction and patience was unexpected, but absolutely appreciated! Thank you Tito.

Even more frustrating was that the officer who stopped to "help" him and the tow truck driver acted like they were doing my son a favor by calling and providing a tow truck for him instead of allowing him to call one himself. He wasn't in a wreck, truck just wouldn't start. He asked what it cost and was told "if you have insurance then you don't have to worry about it". Then, after presenting it as "help," they hit him with contracted rotation pricing, charging over $300 just to hook up his pickup and move it into the parking lot next door. I understand rotation pricing in an emergency or urgent situation, but this was completely taking advantage of a young kid. The entire experience with them was unprofessional and disappointing from start to finish. I would not recommend doing business with this company.

When I refused, he threatened to keep my car, charge $50 per day for storage, and file an "intent to lien" to legally steal my vehicle. I had to call the police, and even they said they come to this shop regularly for the same issues, including missing parts. I later checked Yelp and found multiple people reporting the exact same scam. I ended up paying just to get my car back, and it wasn't even fully painted. This place operates on intimidation, not professionalism. One of the worst experiences I've ever had. Do NOT bring your car here.
