After being run off the road by an 18 wheeler on the way from Houston to Austin at 1am, I blew my front passenger tire and was stuck on the side of the road for a while shaken up until police assisted and helped put a donut on my tire since I couldn't because I was too shaken up by the incident. I called the nearest help I could which was about 45 minutes away. I had no other choice but to wait for help. My donut was quickly changed out with a reliable tire and I was soon back on the way thank to the fine gentleman that assisted me. It wasn't easy to communicate what I needed help with since I was so shaken up, but he understood what I needed. Couldn't be more grateful for the speedy and affordable help that was given!

Answered the phone at 10:30 pm on Saturday night and arrived in 30 minutes. He was very courteous and and punctual. It was a better alternative than being towed back to a town where no tire shops would be open until Monday. I definitely recommend him.

J&M fixing my RV tire

We were at Colorado Landing RV Park with a flat, and Jonathan was great! Highly recommended if you need tire service in the La Grange area.

Bottom of the tire has a chunk hanging off

I had a very disappointing experience with La Grange Tire and would strongly encourage others to…read morethink twice before spending their money here. I experienced a major tire blowout involving a Goodyear tire, a reputable and well-known brand, and when I tried to have the tire covered under its warranty, I was told there was a small hole and that we had continued driving on the tire. That explanation was frustrating, especially considering newer vehicles are equipped with tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS). What makes this even more frustrating is that the Goodyear tire still had 7/32 of tread remaining, yet they refused to honor the warranty. Previously, I was also charged $25 for a flat repair, while Discount Tire offers flat repairs at no charge under its service policy. From my experience, it felt like excuse after excuse rather than a genuine effort to stand behind the product they sold. I purchased a tire from a reputable brand and expected the warranty to mean something. Instead, I left feeling like the customer was being blamed rather than the issue being fairly evaluated. Save yourself the frustration and consider taking your business elsewhere. Based on my experience, I would not recommend La Grange Tire. Customers deserve honesty, fair treatment, and a business willing to stand behind the products and warranties it offers. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I had here. GO TO DISCOUNT TIRE and SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE and MONEY.

Ron's Auto Repair - The owners with their new wrecker!

My luck totally turned around when I found Ron's Auto Repair Shop while driving from Austin, TX all the way to Miami, FL. My bumper was almost completely dragging by the time I made it to Ron's. From the first employee that held the door open to the receptionist and my new friend, Steve, everyone was nothing but cordial and helpful. Being a young woman walking into a repair shop, one must always be wary of sneaky charges and unnecessary repairs- none of that here. The employees were sincerely dedicated to getting me back on the road as soon as possible. (Note: they also receive scrap metal) It's not often I take the time to actually write a review on Yelp (although I do use it plenty to review anything from food to auto repair) but I had to put in a good word for these guys! It also helps to mention on the check-in sheet that you saw their great reviews on Yelp! If I'm ever in this area and need a repair, I would go out of my way to make it to Ron's for the excellent and speedy service.

I was stranded, an hour from either city, and limited options. Ron's to the rescue! They were loaded and wouldn't have been able to get to me for half a week. They gave me instructions over the phone how to repair the issue and had me back on the road in an hour. Even made time to check the repair once I was back and running.

Then after only a few weeks of driving on it the tire began to peel on my way back home from Austin. I barely made it home without it popping on me. A few days before this I had bought another tire from here for my truck. I had not had it mounted yet, but after the incident with my car tire I feared for my safety with this tire. I called the shop and informed them of my situation and my loss of trust in their product and they refused to be of any service. I asked them if they would buy the tire from me then, but the lady replied that they are not in the business of selling tires only to buy them back (yes, they do buy used tires). Even though I feared for my safety they refused to reimburse me or buy back THEIR truck tire. Obviously if they won't buy back their own product that hasn't been touched there is probably a problem with it. Also I had a look in their tire warehouse they DON'T write on the used tires which side came off of from the previous car. This is what caused my tire to peel, it was mounted on the WRONG side. This is a saftey hazard and a ploy for money. If they actually cared about their customers they would notate which side of the vehicle the tire needs to be mounted on.
