Closed bathrooms, and bad service, it's a shame this place is affiliated with Pilot. Me, husband and a stranger both walked in and walked towards the restrooms. A tall darker complexion female working behind the desk bluntly yelled, "bathroom's closed". We saw that there were folding panel dividers in front of the women's and men's restroom. Not happy with that dead-end response, I reply, "okay, are there any places nearby where we may use the restroom?", she yells back bluntly, "next door and subway". My husband, rather confused, asked which way next door and needless to say, got another blunt forthright response. As we got into our cars, we saw additional people walking in the place towards the bathroom, realizing it was closed, and walking out of the place. All the bathrooms being closed at a Pilot dealer gas station mart is a mystery. This place having the Pilot's name is a mystery. The attendant giving people negative energy is a shame. People have bad days, however, numerous other Yelpers experience the same thing. After spending $50+ on gas here one will expect more. read more

A treasure trove of "stuff"!! A good selection of drinks, Candy, and chips... this Exxon was already an oasis in the night of a long drive... however add in the big lollipops, taffy, a slurpy machine and more and I could have spent some time in here! Everywhere I turned there was interesting stuff to look at... Pickled eggs, merchandise, butters and preserves, seriously? And it wasn't even that big of a place! The big jar of pickled eggs was the topper for me... I wonder if they actually sell any of them... By the way.. the cranberry sprite was actually really good! read more

My wife stopped here to use the restroom and there was no toilet paper in the stalls. She literally stepped into a separate stall only to be disappointed again by the lack of toilet paper. Highly inconsiderate and inconvenient. read more

They have clean bathrooms & that is a huge plus in my book!! There is a painting there that I want to buy so much!!! A Tiger with a cowboy hat on and blue grey eyes, when we were moving from Dallas I had bought it but it did not fit in my car. They gave me a refund, but my husband stopped again as a surprise he tried to buy it and they said it was not for sell I really want this painting & I know I sound crazy but I think I Need this painting!!! OMG!!! This place was just AWFUL!! Looks very nice on the outside with several food options. Stopped for gas, food, restroom. The bathroom was the most horrible I've ever seen in 40 years of travel. Many stalls, all of which were closed but two. Trash and paper towels all over the floor, and excrement on the walls. In store, 12 people in long line. Obviously this place needs more hired help, which is understandable, but if not enough help, close some of the food venues, clean the place up!! Obviously bought NO food. Would never eat anything from a place this nasty!! Obvious MAJOR management issue. Will question all Pilots in the future!! read more

Stopped here to fill up my vehicle. The pumps worked fine using the SpeedPass+ app. I did not go inside but did notice the store was on the first floor of a hotel. Not sure want to stay in the room above it where I would be noisy all night. read more

We have hit up this place quite a few times on the somber but silver lined drives from Dallas back to San Antonio. Not quite sure why we stop here, perhaps this is the marker where it really sets in that we are on our way for a 5 hour drive and we realize that we need to stop for the restroom, or get gas "once we get out of Dallas" or maybe the dog has to pee. Regardless, we have stopped here plenty. The bathrooms are consistently gross. I mean really gross and actually totally unexpected because the property itself is pretty well kept. The walls of the stalls have confessions one would find out while watching Oprah, like "We leave marks wherever we go; he left a mark on me...so I go" or "I love pussy". Alright, so whether you want to relish in the fact that you are leaving your abusive boyfriend or are a lesbian this is the place to come on out. You are sure to find plenty of items to purchase here that were probably bought out from a close out store circa 1997-2001. Trucker hats, bejeweled items, horizontal oval shaped bumper stickers with sayings like "hot princess" or "chicks dig me". Not to mention the old staples like frog themed yard items and wind chimes. As for food inside like Greg D. said there is a McD's and a Grandy's along with your regular gas station stop options I assume, I have never gotten food here. Filling up on gas here is easy, taking the dog out to pee works due to the grass options and its and easy on and off. On to Exxon Gas Station. Good pumps, nicely kept bathroom (lines for the ladies' room not outrageous). Stopped here on a Monday morning for gas and coffee. Restroom was dirty, every stall. No paper towels. Went to get coffee and had a feeling it was not real fresh, went to get some half and half and it was empty. At this point I was REALLY wishing I had stopped elsewhere. While checking out, I mentioned to the cashier that the bathroom "needs attention" and the creamer was empty. She literally grabbed the money out of my hands, gruffly got my change and without ever looking at me turned and walked away. I know the owner of this station cares because outside they were busily power washing and emptying trash. Seems to me the employee inside was not doing her part. This is a note I sent to the Texas Attorney General: I bought fuel at a gas pump. The machine display informed of the transaction having a problem but allowed me to pump gas anyway. When I went into the store to pay with my credit card I was told at the counter that it was their policy to require the drivers license number to be recorded along with the credit card number. After arguing with the Middle Eastern, male attendant, I refused to give him my drivers license number and paid cash. I suspect this "business" is a front for identify theft and possibly support for terrorist activity. Please investigate this activity. Thank you for your time. read more

we always stop here on our road trips. sometimes for gas but mostly for the restrooms. $3.09 for regular gas today. there's betters prices before and after this station but they have a Grandy's and if your from San Antonio, where there's no Grandy's then you better stop and get you some, otherwise the next closest Grandy's to SA is Corpus Christi. read more

I had two Ford trucks at the pump. I gave the clerk $500.00 Cash to fill the tanks. He put 50.00 on each pump. He did give me the $400.00 in change. I don't mind paying for gas if that is the rule...........but could they get it right just ONCE when you want to fill your tank? If only I had known that Carls truckstop (Willie Nelsons place) was a few miles down the road. Lessons learned. read more
