After my Dr. appointment a couple of months ago, I stopped in at this joint across the street and immediately saw the Surge logo. I knocked over 3 kids with juice boxes and an old lady using that crazy pizza kiosk as a 16 year old audibly breathed to see what was happening with this beautiful, red and Surge label. It was like Big Red and Surge made a sweet baby that popped and and spanked the LeBron's Sprite's butt. It was delicious. Incredible. Granted, I could only drink a kids size because I do not enjoy full sugar soda, but this was my jam. I could basically see myself playing that irritating and impossible "A Nightmare On Elm Street" video game on NES while eating puffed Cheetos in the old clear and blue bag. My husband loves stopping in to get their egg rolls, taquitos and buffalo chicken bites. He says they are so good. We visit this one often and have never experienced a problem.

I appreciate a gas station I can stop at on my way to work, and this one is positioned thusly. It has entrances on Mayfield Rd (the eastbound side) and on New York (on the northbound side). It's a gas station. But let's appreciate the size of the parking lot which has decent space between the pumps, and between the pumps and the convenience store. It's well lit, which is good, since after hours, on this residential stretch, all the businesses on the opposite corners are closed. So good lighting helps make the late night pumps feel relatively safe. Haven't been inside the EZ Mart yet, but I expect it won't be long until I'm desperate and seeking their services. Then over the years that Mobil had less business and went out of business. So nothing was on this corner for all this time. I was shocked to see one week about a month ago that a gas station was popping back up in this spot. It looked quite substantial and actually they did a lot of work in such a short period of time. I was thinking it was either a race track or a quick trip. I am delighted that this project didn't take long and that something is here. My parents if they were here would be so happy to see this. It has quite a few gas station pumps and there's lots of space. The lights are bright outside. It's very convenient when you're coming off of the highway onto Park Springs. They have all sorts of things inside. Lots of food options... Drinks... Coffee... Just so much to offer I even a breakfast sandwich for my son the other day along with some items for his lunch because I didn't have time to stop at a grocery store. Again, I am so excited about this new station. The gas is pretty cost-effective right now as well. Yay Quik trip.!

And we go in there and I grab my items and she (Stephanie the worker) had sat us to the side because my grandfather wanted his stuff and she saw the giftcard and just said wait and lets the other people go and then I am up next and he wanted to use the giftcard on that too since she didn't know we were together and she said no you gotta wait until the manager comes and then later on she says that the manager won't even come so she had us waiting for no reason. So there is this other guy that just bought my stuff which was really nice of him. And she starts yelling at us infront of other customers even though we were calm voices telling her a giftcard would work here and it even says that online. It's been here for many years but they maintain it pretty well considering the amount of traffic they get. It's convenient if you're planning to head east or north from this location. Tip for traveling south: it's impossible to see around the south curve from the exit (thanks, Sonic sign), so avoid being T-boned and take the inside road. Go pass the Taco Bell and Chicken Express all the way to that shopping strip where Savor (formally Mochalux) is and get to Bardin and Collins where there's traffic lights.
