Small station with four pumps on a busy corner. Higher price for cash vs credit. Credit price…read moreis competitive compared to other stations. Cash price is clearly a bargain.

On the morning of April 15, 2015, at @9:15 AM, I stopped for gas on the way to my office at this…read morestation. There was only one other car at the four-pump station. The attendant was in the little office in the middle of the pumps and I could see that he was eating his breakfast. I waited about thirty seconds, which we all know seems like an eternity at a gas station, yet he made no move towards helping me. I gave a quick tap of my horn to alert him I was there, just in case he hadn't seen me for some reason. He gave me a backhanded wave, without ever looking up from his meal. A full two minutes later he came out, took the money from the other van that was already filling up when I got there and then came to serve me. I asked him why he waited so long to help me and he told me to never beep my horn at him again. Of course, now I became angry because of his indigence. I beeped my horn again at him in an act of bravado because of his attitude. He then says he wasn't going to serve me. I decided to just sit there for ten minutes blocking the pump to see if he would serve me and I called the police to report his refusal to serve me. I was surprised to learn from them that the gas station attendant had the right to refuse service and they told me that if they came there he would simply tell them some lie about how he felt I was unruly and dangerous and felt the need to refuse service to me out of fear for his safety. Knowing that it was a fight that I could not win I drove away. The sad part about it is that I have been coming to this gas station for over twelve years (have not seen this attendant before though) and that I run a company that has over 34 trucks that I send to this station as one of my contract stations. I actually advised this attendant of who I was and of my fleet and he said that he could care less. Well, I suppose the only thing I can do is write this review and take my car and my 34 trucks elsewhere. Hopefully the manager of the station reads this and takes some action so this kind of problem is avoided in the future.
