I had warranty on my battery so after we paid we asked for them to run another test to show us it was only the battery. Guess what it was the alternator. Then we got an outrageous quote to fix that. If you're a woman looking to get your car checked out please avoid this shop. I feel like they just saw $$ when I walked in. Only when my husband showed up was I given correct info. This place was highly recommended by friends and I'm very disappointed. I went elsewhere and got my car fixed in no time at all and way cheaper than what they quoted me on top of the $210 already spent. Also they wrote my number down wrong and had my car from Monday to Wednesday. Very sad that they tried to tell me it was just the battery when I explained I had to get it jumped to even drive there. They have always been honest, and work with me when I can only do a few things at a time. They make sure me and mine are safe on the roads. Their prices are some of the best around. Truly a great group of people. And they complete the work pretty quickly, considering how busy they stay. Inspections, oil changes, maintenance...they are the place to go.

A woman sitting at a table near the corner was on her phone, calling out a lazy "Welcome in" to customers. As we approached the restroom, I immediately noticed there were no paper towels, the bathroom was filthy, and there were splashes of feces on the stall walls. When we walked back out, I looked over at the drink and soda bar and saw liquid and debris all over the counter. This was the worst Sheetz I have ever encountered. I told the woman who had been calling out "welcome in" that she might want to get up and help address the condition of the store. She then yelled to another worker named Anthony for assistance, but he was already busy at the register.

When I called the store, the manager was dismissive, blamed DoorDash, and refused to give his name. That is poor customer service and zero accountability. If management does not care enough to fix basic order issues, address problems, or missing paid items, then the location needs new management. Poor quality, poor service, and no ownership. It's located just off of I-85 / I-40 exit 145: NC 49 - Downtown Burlington, Liberty. It's an OK stop to fill up at if you're traveling between the Triad (Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem) and Triangle (Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh). Note: On this concurrency (overlapped stretch) of I-85 and I-40 in North Carolina, the I-85 exit numbers prevail. Those exit numbers are 131-163. Sheetz is known more for their convenience stores with "MTO" made-to-order food than they are for their gas stations (e.g., gas prices, amenities). Currently, Sheetz is only in Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. The company is headquartered in Altoona, PA. I remember my first experience at the Sheetz on Wendover Ave in Greensboro, many years ago. I wanted a fish sandwich but I was told they didn't have fish. I was given a free item coupon for the inconvenience. I had a fried mozzarella cheese stick, and they were good and had a light garlic flavor in the breading. I ate a tuna salad sandwich wedge, and it's like the other wedge sandwiches you can get elsewhere. The restrooms were clean. The employees were friendly.
