Entrance is a little tricky to get too so park on the side near the card store and walk around to the front of the building. Upon entering we were greeted with a HUGE selection of games, everything from NES to current Xbox, PS5 and Switch. Even had some cabinet games you could try out. Behind the counter they had some harder to find titles and some tables between rows was like a mini nerd yard sale with figures, books, crafts, etc. Husband picked up a gunpla model kit from 1980s, I got pokemon pinball for my game boy and some DS games I had been looking for. Price wise was about what I expected for what I got, seemed about middle of the road. On the left side of the building is a DVD section and fairly expansive comic book selection. Husband looked over what they had but nothing really stood out, we mostly came for the retro games. Guy behind the counter was super helpful and friendly, answering any questions we had about their stock and condition of the games. If we're in the area I plan on stopping back in and seeing what new stock they have on hand.

I've tried an RCA to HDMI converter, and get no signal. I also bought a universal HDMI cable that has the connection that plugs into the N64, SNES, Game Cube, and Super Famicon. I get the same thing no signal. I tried an older tv with RCA jacks on it, tried the RCA cables, and nothing. I'm really disappointed as I was looking forward to some retro gaming.

It also includes claims that simply aren't true--at no point did we tell anyone to go to our uncle's shop or say he'd do a better job. That never happened. We 100% do NOT have an uncle or bloodline family that has a shop. Weird how he chose to go with that fabricated claim. The guy was Carly's coworkers brother.. I did get a laugh out of the part where he says he's reporting my reviews. Personally, I'd rather they stay up. Let people read both sides and decide for themselves what happened. If you're confident in your version of events, there shouldn't be any issue with people seeing both perspectives. Below is the series of events paraphrase.. My girlfriend and I were in the store while another couple was discussing selling a large reggae record collection. The owner was already talking about other stores and possible buyers for a collection of that size. Since the conversation was already centered around outside options, my girlfriend casually mentioned another local shop that might also be interested. The response was immediate and hostile. Instead of simply saying he preferred competitors not be mentioned in his store, he repeatedly raised his voice, saying it was "unethical" and asking, "How dare you come into my store and try to steal people?" His voice got louder each time. The interaction became so uncomfortable that another customer followed us outside afterward to make sure we were okay. Even the couple involved commented on how strange and over-the-top the reaction was. What makes this especially confusing is that the conversation was already about alternative stores and potential buyers. We're customers, not business owners. Most people wouldn't expect that mentioning another local shop in that context would lead to being publicly yelled at. Needless to say, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend a business that treats customers this way. If you take this review with a grain of salt, that's completely fair--but understand that, in our experience, simply mentioning another local business during a conversation that was already about other shops was enough to earn a public scolding. The photo below includes the owner's response. It conveniently leaves out the fact that we had already been talking with the couple and that multiple outside options had already been discussed before Carly made her suggestion. He's entitled to his version of events, but it doesn't reflect what happened that day. Regardless of the disagreement, I don't believe it's appropriate for a business owner to speak to customers--especially by repeatedly yelling at a young woman--in the way he did.

There was a time when these things were everywhere but that time is long past. Come and check it out and pick up a few things from here. Yes it's overpriced in some areas and it's enough to almost make me drop it to four stars but I really want to support these kinds of businesses and five stars will do fine.

This shop looks tiny when you first enter (downdownstairs in a great bookshop), but don't let your first glance deceive you. As you go from one small room into another and another and another, you will realize there are plenty of places to get lost looking through old books. Some titles are in other languages (lots of German), and some are behind locked glass doors (the truly rare stuff), but most are fun, random old books with worn pages and aged leather bindings. Looking through them is fun and could help you kill a few hours for sure. So, whether you're looking for a special, rare find (in the hundreds of dollars), or in it for the look of old books on your pristine shelves ($10 and $20 aisles!), this deceptively large rare book shop should have you covered. And did I mention the hundreds of art prints?? Oh yeah, count on another hour sifting through those!

I browsed through the books & finally landed on the true crime section, which peaked my interest. I grabbed a book & took it to checkout, they were polite & offered me a bag. The book price was very affordable & I even got a discount! Unfortunately the cats were hiding so I didn't get to say hello to them, but this is such a gem of a store & i recommend that you visit!

I recently popped into Between the Covers Bookshop, and it was honestly the cutest little…read morebookstore. It's set up in a shared space, which I actually thought was really unique, you walk in and the bookstore is to your right, and there's another shop to the left. Even with that setup, it still feels like the perfect amount of space for browsing without feeling cramped. The shop itself is small and intimate, but don't let the size fool you they have a great variety of books. I was just casually browsing this time, but I found myself really drawn in by both the collection and the decor. It has such a cozy, thoughtfully curated feel. Even on a quick visit, I could tell this is the kind of place you come back to when you want to slow down and really enjoy the experience of book shopping. I'm already planning to return so I can take my time and dig deeper into everything they have to offer. Definitely worth stopping in if you love a charming local bookstore with a cozy vibe. I chatted with Audra who was helping out in the bookshop and she was helpful and informative. There are bathrooms inside the shared space both upstairs and downstairs.
