Menu and ordering counter

You can find Extreme Teriyaki at 4367 Lawrenceville Hwy, Ste 5, Tucker, GA 30084 in the shopping center anchored by Walmart. Extreme so about half way between Walmart and Kroger. This is a fast casual Japanese themed restaurant that's similar to what you would find in a mall food court. The teriyaki and hibachi items are actually cooked teppanyaki style on a flat griddle. Meat, veg and rice will run you $8-10 depending on what you order. Make sure to ask for hot sauce, it's sriracha and ads a nice kick. Ordering at the counter is very straightforward and questions well answered. Food comes out very fast. This is a decent quality meal for the money, so good value.

Shrimp bento box with seaweed salad. I accidentally ate the egg roll and two shrimp before I took this picture.

I just ate takeout from this establishment. I did it. Would I do it again? Eh... if I had to. My in-laws rarely suggest any dinner options so Hubby decided that we should entertain their selection of this place. I'll start with this, it's mall Japanese/ Chinese food. They tout that there is no MSG in their food... in my book that's a big ole negative. I could go on a rant about the propaganda that there is anything wrong with MSG, but I'll save that for another day (but seriously, Google it). I had the shrimp teriyaki bento box because I'm a big sucker for compartmentalized food. It came with some extremely greasy rice, four pieces of California Roll and two sides ( I chose seaweed salad, seaweed and cucumber, and a veggie spring roll). Everything other than the greasy rice was eh fine. The shrimp was lightly breaded with what was probably cornstarch. What did impress me was the number of shrimp I received. The portions were good and I am happy with the number of shrimp. Overall, it was fine.

Teriyaki Chicken

I'm a huge fan of Teriyaki Chicken and have driven past this restaurant quite a few times. I decided to stop in this past weekend to give them a try. There is some seating available but the majority of those ordering were doing carry out. Prices were reasonable and there is also a Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Special (reduced priced) between 11AM - 3PM) I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken with fried rice and vegetables. The chicken and vegetables were okay. The fried rice was extremely bland. It looked like steamed rice that had been slightly fried with a very small amount of soy sauce with peas and carrots. The fried rice that I'm used to eating is much darker and more flavorful, fried with egg, bean sprouts, and green onions. I highly doubt that I'd return in the future. If I do, I'll definitely pass on the fried rice.

Roach w EGGS in my mf food

Naw bro I deadass found a roach in my food I'm so disgusted and I always come here. Never again.

Crab rangoon, edamame, teryaki beed and rice. 1 crab rangoon and 4 California rolls already eaten.

Excellent! Lots of edamame, the crab rangoon and California rolls were excellent. Teryaki beef was sliced and spiced perfectly over nicely cooked steamed rice. Excellent value.

beef and rice

My parents don't usually show any interest on trying any restaurants due to the overwhelming variety and choices out there, so when they told me they got a flier from this place, the wifey and I decided to encourage this behavior and we ordered from this place. The wifey researched it, and it turned out to be like a Panda Express, a chain of Asian "inspired" fast food. When I phoned the order in, they said it would be ready in 5-10 minutes. Impressive and not surprising. When I walked in to pick up it was just like any greasy Chinese take out place, literally you could slide through the floors. Par for the course. As for the food, it was to be expected: boldly flavored, with generous portions. I got the beef teriyaki plate that came with cabbage and some broccoli. The "fried rice" is not what you expect, it was literally rice stirred around in a wok with oil, and nothing else, unlike the fried rice you come to expect. Overall, the taste, quality level, and portions are what we expected. It will make a turd and fill your belly.

Rotten carrot and manager said it is regular color of carrot?!

I ordered shrimp teriyaki entree because it was today's special. When I opened box, it was looked good. I tasted it and then I stopped to eat. I found the carrot colored almost black.. not burn. It was rotten. I showed to the manager and his reaction...was unbelievable! He said it is nothing. Just regular carrot. Some carrot has black color?!? What???? I am not expert about the carrot and of course you know the carrot more than I do, HOWEVER, be honest, it was not black carrot. I touched carrot it was soft and almost smashed. The vegetables that they served is not fresh. All the worker in there grab the cell phone all the time. They touched the cell phone and without washing their hands, just started to work. I have no idea how they get the health score 96. Be aware!! Stay away for your health safety.

Steak and chicken with rice and vegetables. Quick, easy, and good :d

If you live in Norcross, you have got to try this spot. Try one of their bento box entrees. They are right between kroger and walmart. You get your food fast.

They serve a little banchan (side dishes) of two kinds of kimchi and a pickled radish dish. We all…read moreenjoyed those. I had the creamy onion (Korean fried chicken) KFC chicken. It was sweet and creamy and the chicken was very crunchy, but still juicy. These are not frozen pieces of chicken. It's real Korean fried chicken bites. I think that's really where the name for this restaurant comes from... They do whole chickens in you know boat in chicken and stuff, but their signature dishes are the bite-size pieces of chicken with no bones. I hesitate to call them chicken nuggets because they're clearly better than chicken nuggets. The onions were crunchy and sweet not overpowering at all. The sauce was a mayo type of sauce, sweet and creamy - pretty good overall. My dad had the regular (Korean fried chicken) KFC chicken. His chicken came out without anything on it because he requested them to have the sauce on the side his sauce was something like a gauchjuang sauce with a little graininess to it, it was sweet, and little kick of spiciness. I think that a really nice twist would be to make the creamy onion KFC with a good drizzle of the gauchjuang sauce over top. I used my dad's sauce over my creamy onion KFC and it was superior in every way. My sister had the Bulgogi quesadilla. The meat was tender and sweet with the marinade sauce, but it was also gooey and cheesy and melting. The outside was crispy. My sister also got a bong bong drink? Basically grape juice with some peeled grapes in it. She said she liked it. The interior of the place was nicely decorated and clean. They still look brand new inside and out. The facilities are nice. The staff was very friendly except one lady who gave off some "Karen vibes". Overall, I would say this place is a thumbs up and you should definitely give them a shot. It's good for small groups, big groups, and all kinds of groups. They've got good drinks. They've got good food and the overall atmosphere is pretty chill it's not loud at all. It's nice and quiet. The only downside to the ambience would be having to sit so close to other people being that the place is a little bit small for the amount of seating that they put in some of the tables are a little bit close to each other.

The Bite of Korea is truly more of a Korean-American fusion spot than traditional Korean cuisine…read more I tried the bulgogi quesadillas and the chicken wings. Both were good but definitely lean more toward fusion than authentic Korean dishes. If you're expecting classic Korean flavors, this might not fully hit that mark. That said, if you go in with the mindset of enjoying creative, Korean-inspired comfort food, it's a solid option. A good spot to mix things up from the usual, just not somewhere I'd go for a more authentic Korean dining experience.

We decided to try this place based on the high ratings, but unfortunately, our experience didn't…read morequite live up to the expectations. We were a party of 5 and found both the food and the service to be inconsistent. The Food: Most dishes were mediocre or worse. The Three Cups Chicken (1/5) was the worst I've ever had. The Hong Kong Style Shrimp (1/5) was just bland, tasteless fried shrimp. The Lamb with Scallion (2/5) was far too salty. The only "average" dish was the Spicy Beef and Tendon (3/5), but one decent dish can't save a meal this poor. The Service & Billing: The service was quite slow during our visit. We waited a long time for the check and eventually ended up packing our own leftovers and heading to the front counter to pay so we could head out. I was also surprised to see an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill, especially since it was calculated on the total after tax ($23.07 tip on a $106.80 subtotal). While I understand automatic tips for groups, it felt a bit high due to poor services. There are a lot of great dining spots in the area, but based on this disappointing visit, I'm sure I would not return to this one.
