Very nice lady answered and set me up with an appt. The tech came out and I showed him the wear marks. I informed tech I just bought this house and I found these marks. The tech was friendly, knowledgeable and professional looking. The tech represented Tri State very well I thought. The tech showed me that the doors had worn some of the 2x4 framing inside the garage to the point that they do not rub anymore and everything was working fine but he checked the rollers anyways and said there was a slight adjustment he could do to the first wheel on the track. Since he was out here anyways, I had him lubricate the spring and all the joints.

We had ACS come to our home to give a quote for new garage doors. I explained that I wanted the…read morebrick mould around the garage doors replaced because they were dented. I showed him all of the dented areas and he assured me (3 different times throughout our visit) that the brick mould would be replaced. He told me that the mould would be the same color as the rubber seal that would be put in around the doors. He also told me that the brick mould would be included in the quote. I called ACS to voice my concerns and I was told that there was nothing that could be done and that their salesmen had so many years of experience that none of them would have told me that (the salesman that came to my house seemed very young). A short time after I called, a lady called me to see how I liked my new doors and when I explained my concerns to her, she said she wanted to talk to someone else in the office and get back to me. This call happened in May and I have yet to receive a call back from them. I love the look of the doors, but my dented brick mould was not replaced as I was told it would be, so now I have had to hire another company to replace the brick mould when I was originally told it was going to be included in my quote. I feel deceived by the salesman that first came to my house and ignored when no-one bothered to call me back.

It seems to me that he had the spring the entire time, forgot about me and never apologized for it, so I questioned why there was not better communication from him. He said he would come out later that day to fix. About and hour later he called to inform me that he was not going to repair my garage door because I hurt his feelings when I questioned him. No accountability for his actions and I would NEVER recommend him to anyone I would've given no stars but of course Yelp makes us give at least one

I called Overhead garage door hoping they would supply an answer by phone. Instead they took a credit card and sent a technician. I showed him what was happening and he turned a knob on the garage motor. The garage door went down. It took a week for them to send the$125 bill. The garage door was again stuck. I researched again and saw in a Reddit post that sun was affecting the sensor. Now, we had the real answer. Yes, the service agent had come timely. Happily I was smart and took a photo of the garage door motor. But these guys could care lessabout helping unless they could extract unnecessary fees.
