A home town gem! The outside doesn't reflect what a great little place this is! Go carts, arcade and skating!

Great place to skate and play hockey. Less corporate than the Raleigh rinks and more family…read moreoriented.

Since I was in town for the holidays, I wanted to take my younger cousins out somewhere. We decided…read moreto come here since my god daughter had never been ice skating before. We came for the 1-3 Saturday shifts....it was fairly packed but nothing that was unreasonable. Prices were pretty good. 4 adults and 1 child. My god daughter got in as a child....though, after every lap she wanted to "take a break" so Im not even sure if we got our monies worth on her! The child (5 and under) is $5 and the adults (5 and up) are $9. Music was playing in the background....though, some of it may not have been completely appropriate for kids. Current pop and rock music is great but some of the rap songs probably werent age appropriate. I know cause I heard my husband singing the songs and he doesnt exactly censor his words :) We alternated between skating and chilling in the food/drink area. The biggest plus was that they had these metal rollars that younger kids could use to help them learn to skate. I have no idea how we would have taught my god daughter without these! My biggest complaint was the lack of staff. They had one (maybe two cause this one guy who told us he wasnt working started working) guy maining the ticket counter, skate exchange, and food place. Superman, if you ask me! Anyways, neat place to go for a date or an outing with the kids.

Me, my boyfriend and my cousin went last Saturday at 10 pm, mind you when we got our bowling shoes…read morethe woman said they closed at 11 and said that about 3 times and we said okay we will just do one game. My boyfriend proceeded to pay and we got our lane, on our 8th round our lane just completely shut down. It was only 10:30 and mind you there were about 4 other lanes that had more than 5 people at each lane, we decided to just keep rolling the balls but nothing was working, so we walked up there hoping to get someone to give our shoes back and the worker just kept walking away just rolling our eyes at us. Mind you EVERYONE else's lanes were on and running. We were furious, especially since we didnt even get to finish the game that we PAYED for, we drove by there at 11:05 and all the people were still in there and they closed at 11 pm. Me and my boyfriend have gone to this place since January and had no problems what so ever until last weekend, needless to say that is the last time we go.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I can not believe how we were treated. We walked in a 8:00 pm on…read moreSaturday night. Waited for 15 minutes for the 1 gentleman to help the 6 people in front of us. Told them we had a party of 11. He told us they did not have lanes together. I was like. Ok. We will leave. As we were talking about where to go a family left one of the lanes. The couple behind us actually was given that lane. I asked if we could please have the lanes that were now together. A lady at this time was at the counter she said it is just taken. I was like oh ok. Can we see if they will switch to another lane since there were single lanes open. This couple i had not even sat down to put on their shoes. Her response was that is out of my control and would not even ask. She said the other man had given them the lane. That and the fact there was no air conditioning. It is 84 degrees outside. I mean really. This is why nothing makes it in Kinston. No problem. We left and drove to Goldsboro. Had a great experience there. We will not even bother to ever go back. Literally 3 miles from our house!! Again this is why we can't have nice things in Kinston.

I went here with my boyfriend and his extended family - our group of 13 (ages across 3 generations)…read moreeasily spent almost 2 hours here and we golfed pretty efficiently! This course was one of the most enjoyable and scenic courses I've ever had the pleasure of playing at. Many of these holes were creative and doable as well. And during one of the holes where there's a chance your putt putt ball can fall into the water, there's a grate to catch it. The prices are pretty great, at $14/person for the first round and only $6/person for the second round (for golf at least). The only thing we could really give feedback on was that the train was broken at the time, but they were communicative with us about it and it didn't affect how much we could play. We could still easily access the upper levels of the course just fine, and even our elderly players walked up the steps and slopes fine as well. Some of the "mineshaft" looking areas were pretty warm and stuffing (just a warning!), though. Overall, it's a really enjoyable and nice place to go to with groups. It's one of the larger activity-based attractions on the island, so depending on when you go, it can get quite busy. The ambiance was lively, though, and it drizzled a bit (I like a little rain). They also had go-kart raceways and water boats, too! We'll definitely be coming back to enjoy all the activities in its entirety :)
