We walked up to the counter and experienced two staff members engaged in conversation. Did they acknowledge the customers waiting to order? NO! When we interrupted them to ask if there was table service (don't be silly) the young girl walked into the back to have a laugh with the kitchen staff while the barista turned his back to continue making coffee. Finally, when good and ready, he took out order. Hoping the coffee would be something special to make some amends for the lack of service I was extremely disappointed, the local McDonalds makes a far better cup of coffee. My colleague wrote a kinder but a 1 star review, the response from the management was to declare they have hundreds of 5 star reviews (must be drinking more than coffee in the kitchen) and advised him that he was no longer welcome. We ordered the sizzling matcha brownie with green tea ice cream... it really does sizzle and they put this cream on the pan and it sizzles. Pretty awesome stuff... Got an iced matcha latte with grass jelly and it was totally yummy! I think I just ate too much lactose because my tummy was so not happy in the end... but I loved it!! I'd definitely be back for a frappe or some ice cream later on! The people that worked there were pretty nice too...
