My move was last minute and extremely chaotic. I was dealing with movers and booking a storage unit very last minute while I was traveling and it was a nightmare. I booked the unit online and thought I was good to go. I looked at the unit size I reserved and it was way too small. So again, last minute I was able to get the correct unit to accommodate my belongings with the assistance of the associate on site. When the movers transferred my belongings to the unit the associate from the facility was touching base with me and updating me on any changes or possible complications. When the movers arrived my 18 year old son was overseeing the process and the same associate that was so helpful on the phone noticed my son was nervous and stressed in the situation and was there to give him advice and guide him through what was happening, for that I am eternally grateful. When I arrived to make sure everything was complete and finalized and packed into the unit properly while the movers were still there, I was met by the gentleman That had been so helpful to my son and on the phone with me. His name is Xavier (I'm uncertain if the spelling is correct). I was incredibly stressed out and had a million things I had to do and just as he did with my son he recognized, and with an amazingly positive approach took me to the unit making small talk to distract me from the visible amount of stress I was experiencing, allowing me to relax and even laugh. The movers had just finished unloading everything and were at the unit for inspection. Everything looked good, I paid the movers and Xavier continued to reassure me that everything was smooth sailing from there. I had no opinion of the facility or location at this point, but the level of professionalism, simple courtesy and stellar customer service was unmatched to any experience I've had in the past. There were other customers he was dealing with while he was dealing with me and he handled it with ease and met each of our needs in an effective and timely manner. He maintained an extremely positive, professional and laid back attitude while multitasking each customers needs. I would highly recommend this location simply based on the level of customer service I received from Xavier. I sincerely appreciate the lengths he went to to make the process as easy as possible. I called on Extra Space Storage initially to store Some of my things for a short while in order to make room for some family members. To my dismay, this short time ran into about a year and needed to add more items to my unit until it ran over to second unit. I tell you, Richard, at the 301 site was the most accommodating and so very friendly. I feel I made a new friend in Richard. The units was very clean and I didn't have any issues while storing my (and other family members) things there. I would choose them again if needed. read more

I had my items stored here for at least 3 years... No problems... When I finally retrieve my items no critters... Which is all I could ask for... If you are looking for a clean, affordable, well maintained storage place then this is the place to go!!! The store manager, Richard, is very friendly and helpful! After moving into the unit, we had some trash and broken glass that needed to be disposed but we didn't have a way to get rid of them at the moment. So We swept it to the side and planned to come back early morning to clean up. As I pulled up the next day, I was surprised that the trash was gone! As I was sweeping the rest of the glass, Richard came and greeted me and helped me cleaned the rest. He was very helpful and understanding. Initially I thought this was a good location. Then, my entire unit had rodent issues. Rat poop and urine all over the unit. They just told us that we should have bought the insurance they offer instead of replacing the damaged patio furniture (would have been the right thing to do, they should have better rodent solutions apparently). We have our homeowners insurance, but not worth a claim to replace patio furniture. I asked them specifically if there had been any rodent issues before starting a lease. They said none. We had no food, etc. in the unit but they are not making the situation right. Renters beware. read more
