I told her the rental unit number and that I was giving 45 days notice of vacating the unit. I handed her the letter and thought I was ok. Fast forward to October and I started getting collection calls about this unit. It said I owed for the rental unit. I told them I followed proper procedures notifying management of when I was ending my rental agreement. Now I am getting collection letters and I am going to have to pay this so my credit doesn't get ruined. All for $115. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!!! Their office and management are complete idiots and now I am paying the price. Never again will I use this company. I called the office and still no relief.

I…read morewill say I was nervous going in with all of the negative reviews and poor customer service experience I have read about this place. Even just general reviews online specifically about Uhaul hitch installations that tend to look very amateur'ish and obviously not OEM looking. However I decided to roll the dice and try them as this location is less than 3 miles from my house and their prices are the same or even cheaper depending on what hitch you get. Speaking of which hitch you get, just know Uhaul does not manufacture trailer hitches they will have to order it just like you would if you were trying to do this yourself at home. The trailer hitch Uhaul ordered for me was a CURT trailer hitch which I saw online from eTrailer while doing my research on aftermarket hitches so you could in theory do this yourself at home but without a lift and help I wouldn't recommend it. Took about a week for the trailer to arrive. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the work and turnaround time for the hitch install on my 2024 Acura MDX. It looks great and almost looks like it came with the car from the factory from Acura. And it took the installer a little over 30 mins to install and complete. I took off 2 stars because they scheduled my install time for 8am and when I arrived for my appointment to drop my car off they told me the hitch installer doesn't even show up normally until 11am to start. So why did they even schedule my appointment at 8am then? The guy working there told me I could wait there if I wanted to but they did not have a waiting room so he pointed to two chairs sitting by the bathroom and said I could sit there if I wanted to. He wasn't rude about it but also wasn't overly concerned or cared that I would be sitting there for 3 hours waiting until the hitch installer arrived. I could see how some of the reviews talk about their customer service...or lack thereof. If I knew I was going to be waiting that long I would've brought my laptop, tablet, or phone charger at least. ‍

Didn't see the harness that I'd paid $100 to have installed so went back to the shop. The very pleasant associate told me it's in the trunk and because they didn't see a gasket to take out and push the wiring through they left it in the tire well. Running under the tailgate is great, right? (Pic1) A quick Google of installing a wiring harness on a Subaru gave great directions for doing it correctly so the cord is next to the hitch ball. However, my experience was not so great. For starters, many items such as glass lamps, glass tables, and high dollar framed photo did not even get "wrapped" or "packed". They were just set into the truck and later set into my storage unit. The movers were reminded that items such as a living room rug and framed photo were to be packed, yet they were trying to rush out so quickly that they tried to leave so many items behind. The process was slowed down due to phone usage and standing around/waiting for direction. Not to mention it took THREE movers 6 hours to move a 'mostly packed' 1 bedroom apartment into the moving truck. I had everything ready, sorted out and most packed and it still took 6 hours. Which resulted in having to unload the items the next day. I can only hope that my items were properly taken care of when I wasn't looking because what I did see was not very pleasing. My things definitely took a little beating. No matter if your furniture is high dollar or not, movers should handle YOUR furniture/items with the same care. My bill came to over $2600 but after speaking with the manager, even he realized that took entirely too long for 3 movers and took 2 hours off my bill which brought it to $2100. It was still high for the quality of the move that I received especially it being a mostly packed one bedroom apartment, but sometimes you have to take a loss. Like I said, I do think the company is probably great. I just didn't luck out with the best experience.

For that type price, they didn't even move stuff into appropriate rooms in the new apartment, they just left everything in the living room, plus they stole a lot stuff. I asked them to put them in a storage unit overnight and they declined. They absolutely took an advantage of me. THEY STOLE A LOT OF MATERIALS! Had to buy new plates and everything, to this day I still can't afford to replicate what I used to have. [I'm not a mover and I have no interest in making a bad review for competition purpose.]
