Three men arrived for the loading and it was completed in three hours. Naturally, I requested the same crew for the unload at my new house. When only two people showed up, I knew this would not be good. I have very big, heavy pieces that were overpowering for only 2 men. My wall unit was not properly assembled as it was not possible to accomplish with only 2 men. I called Pack and Load to request remediation. I requested 3 men to come back to my home and assemble my wall unit, that it may be used. The pieces were not tight enough to place anything on the main shelf. I was told that management would be made aware of the situation and get back to me. After multiple calls, no response to my request was ever received. I contacted the team leader for the men that did my load and unload as he has his own company and gave me his card. Money Movers, did not return my call for help either. I'm a disabled, widowed senior who had to hire a handy man to fix the issues created by Pack and Load. Use this company wisely.

We went with a 65+ year old company for security and experience with our furniture and paid a fortune. What we got was a rude person that would not budge on the day of our load as it poured rain that came early. She said it was our problem not hers because she's in Florida and not in Texas. Would charge $375 if we rescheduled and could not guarantee a return tomorrow! We were responsible for protecting our furniture, not them. A complete different story than when Lance the salesman spoke to me. He said they took so much care that they moved grand pianos without issues. So if you are being romanced by Lance, Do Not Do It! Save yourself money and frustration. Use a local company with less years because that's exactly what they will do. They are nothing but a vendor that uses third party loaders. The crew that showed up was local and did not work for Pack and Load. They were nice and I wish our money would have gone to them directly. Instead, the rude woman gets a big cut. I cancelled the back end of "unloading" and will find a local business to do that for us. What a big waste of money on this company. IF I COULD GIVE ZEROS I WOULD. They do not even deserve the 1 star.

On Sunday evening they let me know that no one would be here on Monday and that they would do it all on Tuesday. After talking with the office Monday morning they decided to send a crew out around noon. They arrived and started working. After about 15 minutes Kim came out to let us know they would have to raise the estimate and that the boss would call soon to talk to us. Kim was extremely nervous and was backed up by muscle when she talked to us. A real try at intimidation. The boss called and said instead of the estimate of $10,000 it would now cost us $15,000. We fired them and made them leave our house. They did not leave the neighborhood but continued to call and text. We had buyers looking at our house when the boss threatened to send Kim to our front door. We sure did not need that.

Many pieces of furniture were damaged, boxes were crushed and all items were broken. An antique one piece lamp was broken into three pieces. I guess my first cue should have been when I saw them forcing stuff into the truck that there was no room for and forcing the doors closed. Do your self a favor and find a different company.

LLC was the first one to contact us. He was extremely nice and sent us a quote of $3820 to move us from Tampa Fl. to Chattanooga Tn. The only items they were moving were the large items and furniture, no boxes. On the quote was a list of all the items to move. When we discussed with Ryan that we may actually take some of the items listed ourselves, he assured us that those would be deducted from the final bill. We agreed to hire them, and gave them $950 up front with the balance to be paid 1/2 at pickup and the other 1/2 at delivery. When we moved our boxes we ended up taking off of their list 4 kitchen chairs, 6 night stands, 1 stairmaster, and 1 cedar chest. On the day of the move 3 men showed up to load their truck. We left and assumed that Ryan would be calling us to get our credit card for the 1st half. Instead the movers called us and told us an hour later that they need $1425 in cash to drive to Chattanooga. Nothing was ever mentioned about cash and nothing was said to us when we said goodbye and left. We then tried to call Ryan and what a surprise, he was on vacation! After talking to someone else at the company's they told the movers to just get the full remaining payment when they got to their destination. At 8:30pm we got a phone call from the movers telling us they would be arriving at 4am to deliver our furniture. We told them absolutely not and they needed to come after 8am. When they showed up, the price had increased from owing $2850 to $3400. Their excuse was that we took up more space than they quoted for (even though they didn't take 12 of the items listed on their quote) and that they needed to use more packing supplies. After arguing back and forth on the phone with the company they finally knocked the remaining balance down to $3000, $150 more than the original quote. Once we paid them by Venmo they unloaded our items. Immediately we noticed that one of our antique dining room chairs had a broken leg. When we called they refused to help us and told us if we put in a claim, we would only collect .60 cents per pound of damage. So a broken 5 pound chair would give us a whopping $3!
