Cassidy, Hanna and Cynthia guided us through the process; renting and using the space, buying packing materials, accessing the free carts, etc. Today, when we were cleaning out our space (we sold the house and are getting ready to move), we got the same high level of service as we closed out our rental. When I paid for my unit, I paid for 12 months in advance to "lock in the monthly rate", or at least that's what I was told. However, that was not the case. So when the price went up just 3 months in without my knowledge, the money prepaid to my account ran out early. Try to talk to anyone about this has been a nightmare of repeatedly going to the office, most of the time no one being there, and talking to the same guy who's "going to email his district manager". Moral of the story, if you want price hikes every other month, to never have a person working in the office, and no one to ever call you back, rent here. Otherwise, there's a great place down the street with a green sign. UPDATE: the resolution they offers was a discount for two months. I took it. However, the amount due on my account is $163 more than what I was told I'd pay. And there response when I pointed it out was basically "oh, you're right. Here's $50 off..." I've called the general manager every day this week and he has neither answered or called me back once. DONT RENT HERE!!

I scheduled a pickup for 2 PM on a Friday. I arrived at around 1:50 and the front door was locked. I knocked on the front door and no one came after about 5 minutes I figured I would log onto the app and start the pickup process through the app thinking someone would be in the office at 2 PM since that was my appointment time. After I uploaded my DL, I got a message on the app to call U-Haul because the app could not check me in. I called the number provided to me in the message on the app and the customer service rep asked me why I was calling. I told her I was at Greenfill Lone Star Self Storage LLC to pick up the trailer but the front door was locked and I was told through the app to call this number after I uploaded my ID. She was very nice and said that she would see if she could see why no one was there since it was now 2:10 PM. At about 2:15 I could see through the window someone walking in the back door and the customer service rep at U-Haul told me she found someone to help me in the office and they would be right there. The lady opens the door and immediately tells me I did not have to call U-haul that I should have call the number on the door, never saying I'm sorry she was late, no remorse at all for making me wait. I told her that my appointment was for 2 PM it was now 2:15 and now I will probably be late to my appointment. The second employee told me that I had better cut the attitude that she has the right to refuse business anyone she want to, I said, you are late and have an bad attitude that I called U-haul, but I am the customer and should not have to call anyone, you should have been in the office at 2, I said just get me my trailer so I can get out of here. She told the older lady she was not going to give me the trailer and told me to leave. Do not do business with this company, they are rude, do not appreciate their customers and even when they are in the wrong will gas light you trying to turn it around that I was the issue. That's when I realized it's almost impossible to reach any property manager due to the fact there isn't one on the property, also the number listed no one will ever answer and good luck receiving a call back after leaving a message. By the time I got a response out of someone, I had already cleaned the mess the rodents made so I couldn't provide pictures for insurance. 2nd and biggest incident. I got rid of 75% of my storage and wanted to move into a smaller and cheaper unit. Again no one answers, almost 2 weeks later I get a call back, and of course it was after the 1st. Now they want to charge me for the current unit plus the new smaller one which is a load of crap when I tried to move 2 weeks before the first. Now after trying to dispute and talk to someone else, another month has past and now my fees has snowballed. Lastly, it's up for auction with no explanation of disservice. Stay away from here!

Poor costomer service, they said even if it has only been 12 hours , they cannot refund anything, only thing they can refund is lock and key. They have strict policy on refund, but not on delivering what they charge for. I decided to just deal with it and went there to move in my stuff. There was no light. It was pitch dark in there. Huge safety hazard. I called costomer service again, I was told that someone will reach out to me. I got call back 8 hrs later, if I still need help. I told them about dark and no light in there. I was told that use my phone torch. That is what property manager do when making rounds. I am not just making rounds, I am moving my stuff, How should I hold torch with my hands full, every time I called I only got the answers like , sorry about that, I understand etc. No solutions offered. I asked for refund, oh sorry you signed agreement that indicates that it is all non refundable. They should have also mention in the agreement that property is under consideration, pot holes. Unpaved area, nails and sharp objects by the entrance, unit is dark. No power. So I know what I was signing up
