If you're uptown or in Upper Manhattan, skip the trip to Soho -- this place brings world-class…read morecocktails, vibes, and energy right to the neighborhood. The Vibe Cozy, comfortable, and full of surprises. Some nights are mellow and chill, perfect for catching up with friends. Other nights, you'll walk in and it feels like a Colombian street festival -- music pumping, people celebrating, energy everywhere. The Drinks This is a cocktail-first spot, and their selection is next-level. If you don't know what to order, just tell the staff what flavors or spirits you like -- they'll craft something spot-on every time. Presentation? Always . The Food Yes, they have bites -- but don't come hungry. The small plates are designed to complement your drinks, not replace dinner. The Extras Live DJs, curated sets, and even surprise performances -- this place keeps things fresh and exciting without losing its cozy feel. The Staff Absolutely outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable, and they make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Good vibes in, good vibes back. Overall, one of my favorite spots in the city. Whether you want a low-key Tuesday or a Saturday night that feels like carnival season, this place delivers every time.

Enough space to feel like you're not on top of each other, but not really a place for huge parties. Probably great to do a buyout for birthdays, etc. The happy hour (food & drink) is affordable with a nice selection and runs a good length of time (5-7pm). The non-happy hour menu is the real gem though. A little pricey for the neighborhood, but the quality is on par with cocktail bars down in the villages, so well worth it. Service is quick without being overbearing, and casual without being lazy. Handsome bartender and server. Better to make a reservation later into the night closer to and on the weekend because the space fills up fast. *will update this review when I've tried more of the food*

I'm surprised I've never written a review for this place considering how often I come here. It's…read moreeasily one of my favorite neighborhood spots in Harlem. The vibe is chill, relaxed, and very neighborhood-friendly. Even when it's busy, it never feels overwhelming, and they're usually very accommodating with walk-ins. The service is also some of the best I've experienced in Harlem. My go-to is the roasted duck, which is consistently excellent. It's cooked medium to medium-rare and comes with mango, onions, vegetables, and greens. Easily one of my favorite dishes in the neighborhood. The drinks are great too. I recently had the Nas, their take on a Manhattan, and it was incredibly smooth--one of the best whiskey cocktails I've had in a while. Overall, 10/10. A hidden gem on Lenox between 119th and 120th and definitely one of the best spots in Harlem.

We both had Brussel Sprouts, good, but the bites without the sauce did taste like bland Brussel sprouts. I had the lamb ribs, very good. They do warn you before that the ribs have a bit of fat on them, I think in the context of NY restaurant week I'm happy to pay it but as a solo entree, the amount of fat vs meat would have annoyed me. My friend had the duck, she enjoyed it. But it is very much salad with a side of duck, I believe she had 6 pieces of duck (pictured) and then a mango, arugula and onion salad. Dessert was very good, but I do hope those are not the usual portion sizes and maybe they just served smaller for NY restaurant week. Which I really didn't mind as I was full from the entree and sprouts. Servers were really nice, this place seems to have its regulars and a nice garden sitting area towards the back. Would overall recommend

The burger was probably my favorite -- juicy, filling, and exactly what I wanted. The wings were really good too, crispy and flavorful, and the Caesar salad was actually a nice surprise. I got the Happy Trial for my drink and I genuinely don't know how to explain the taste but it worked for me so much Overall, really cute spot, good food, good drinks, and a chill atmosphere. I'd definitely come back with friends.

I noticed the great ratings along with all the reviews and photos of the burger, so we decided to check it out. We ended up getting a table in the back room by the windows. The place has a very chill vibe. I also noticed they provide Uno cards, and a few people were playing while enjoying their drinks. I already knew what I was getting, the Winnie Smash ($18), a double-patty smash burger that comes with a house-style mac sauce and fries. The burger was solid, and I really enjoyed the crispy fries. I also ordered a side of BBQ sauce ($1.50). I washed it all down with a couple of draft beers. Overall, I had a good experience and would recommend this place if you're looking for good food and drinks in a laid-back atmosphere. * Street parking * Sunday Football special

But overall I feel the service could've been better me and my person were left unattended to for a while before are came to ask us if we were okay, needed anything etc. I enjoyed my food, which was the French toast. It was REALLY GOOD! my person has the eggs Benedict which I did sample and found it to be flavorful. Although there could've been more Hollandaise sauce. I especially enjoyed the Hot Toddy. It was made to perfection! The bill was more than expected... $96. I honestly think that's a bit pricey. I might be back another time

Bird in Hand has a lineup of fun weekly events (Oyster Mondays, trivia nights, and more), plus a delightfully eccentric cocktail menu. The fried chicken dinner plate was excellent--crispy on the outside, remarkably juicy on the inside. A fantastic first impression, and definitely not my last visit
