They charge black people more for nail services. Attitude and condescending owners. They thought I was a new client recently. I advised oh what they charged me just 4 weeks prior for my fill in. Had an appointment for 4pm. Still waiting at 4:45. Apparently they booked a bridal party with 10+ people for the same time. Someone here needs to learn how to schedule... don't make an appt. if you don't have the personnel. They could have told my mom no and we would have scheduled a different time. I had been nervous about going to this nail salon because of a previous experience with my boyfriend mother. The first red flag was a woman had said, during a previous visit that my hands looked disgusting. went into Exquisite nails with a picture of what I wanted. Everything went fine until the lady started working on my nails... she started filing my nails before she ever asked what shape I wanted(red flag #2). I asked for square with edges rounded. She filed some of my nails fine except my thumb and both of my middle fingers. The middle finger looked like a really short coffin and my thumb was filed to far in on one side and the top is angled, not straight. I proceeded to tell her that my thumb was not right and filed in too much then showed her where it was not what I had asked for. To fix it she proceeded to file the side in even more. Every time she would file those fingers on the side it hurt to the touch. My nails hurt the rest of the day. This experience makes me want to go elsewhere for my money. read more

Bad customer service up front. They don't speak to you when you come in and they don't keep very good track of who wants what. Once you get to someone they're nice and individually I think they do a good job but they do things weirdly. One instance of this is soaking my nails in cold water and then (sometimes) using olive oil instead of cuticle oil for a cuticle clean up. One major thing that brought me to write this review is their sanitation. One things I say was that they use products that are in plastic jars but don't use a spatula to get them out. They use their fingers, apply the products and use their fingers that have been touching my skin to go back into the jars to get more and do this for all of the products in jars they apply to you. I would suggest other places. read more

The customer service is great, but I am very disappointed with the quality of the products. I got a full set of acrylics not even a week ago and two of them have already popped off on their own. I have done nothing to cause this and I'm sure it is because of the stinginess of nail glue. This happens to me every time and I am appalled as to how they have not improved this issue. Pro nails will be seeing me from now on, and that is a shitty ass place, so you get the point. At least my nails will stay on! read more
