The gentleman I spoke with was very clear that, because it was a last-minute order, they could only offer a "florist's choice" arrangement--which I was totally fine with. I emphasized that I'd be coordinating my visit with the delivery, and he assured me they'd notify me once the flowers were delivered. On Mother's Day, I showed up--and no flowers. I stayed with my mom for about 3-4 hours, and nothing ever arrived. I was never charged for the order (which was for a $250 florist's choice), but I also never received a call, explanation, or any kind of follow-up. Life got busy, and I didn't reach out afterward to ask what happened. Maybe they were overwhelmed or lost the order, but for a small business, it's surprising to see a $250 order just vanish without any communication. My mom thankfully didn't notice, but it was the first time in years there weren't flowers for her on Mother's Day. Unfortunately, I won't be using this florist again.

On April 11, 2026, Bell donated five beautiful arrangements for the annual Right From the Start event, celebrating Black Maternal Health Week. This event, at Holy Cross Hospital, featured the Walk With a Doc (where community members took a gentle walk through Sligo Creek Park with the Montgomery County Health Officer, Dr. Kisha Davis) and culminated in a Dad's Talk, featuring Eugene Schneeberg of Father's Forward. Bell's beautiful arrangements were smartly displayed and later gifted to some of the community members/birthing people in attendance. This free event celebrated Black Maternal Health week and brought together community partners including local politicians and resource providers to enhance the birthing experience of community participants. Attendees were able to engage with county services and programs, meet community partners, and listen to reproductive justice leaders share health information and personal testimonies. The special touch of flowers provided by Bell enhanced the event. As one attendee commented, "These flowers are gorgeous. Thank you so much! They are a reminder of how special this day was." Thank you BELL for your continued commitment to support an improved pregnancy outcome program by your beautiful and thoughtful donation. I will exclusively be purchasing from this venue from now on. For my fiancee's birthday, I had Park deliver some exceptional orchids. Often times when flowers arrive, you are disheartened because, in absence of purchasing in person, your money feels to have been misplaced. Not at park. The value was clearly seen in the product. I had reason to go to the location in person, and the entire store is a delight. I left with more orchids and some exceptional long stem roses. The staff is friendly and highly knowledgeable. They have a concept akin to an open-kitchen restaurant where you see the assembly and arrangement while you wait. I cannot speak highly enough about Park. I don't think I would even consider an alternative, no matter the situation, occasion, or price.

Allan Woods Flowers had our attention before we even walked in. Walking in you are immediately drawn in by the layout. House plants and beautiful orchids greet you at the front alongside the kindest individual who made us excited about what was next. The blooms!! So many blooms in the fridge and outside that you can become overwhelmed in the best way. And they were all discounted. The roses were our immediate want. So many blush pink large mostly opened blooms screaming take me home and of course I had to listen. White, dark pink, red, and every other color in large and small varieties. They did not have my favorite bloom, peonies, but the selection more than made up for it. I hand picked six and my friend did the same. Going deeper into the space we discovered florists building the most beautiful arrangements. That is when I called my mom on FaceTime. She is a fellow florist and could name every single bloom she saw. I think that is where my love of flowers comes from.
