We all celebrated my parent's 50th wedding anniversary in SilverSpring and this flower shop was close y and they were the easiest to deal with. When we went to their shoo, we were very clueless about the types of arrangements that would be appropriate for an anniversary event. The manager there helped us out a lot and she had vast knowledge about nice flowers that would be good depending on our budget, and our folk's personality. The way that they have everything setup inside the store is so welcoming and it made us want to stay more time than what we had planned. I was looking for a florist or floral company for an intimate wedding ceremony, and Bell Flowers fit my needs to a T! I had stated my budget and desire to only include white flowers in the bouquet and also have a small boutonnière for our ceremony, and our total cost was under $100! Since we were working with a tight budget, I was told that the bouquet will be quite small, but honestly it was perfectly sized and looked very full! The flowers were also tied together with a white satin ribbon and had little white pearls to hold the satin. It was perfect for my vision and pictured very beautifully. All of the consultation and payment were done virtually, which I appreciated amid the pandemic. And when we stopped by to pick up the flowers they were kind enough to bring it out to our car in a glass vase got me to just place on my lap. I heard from the sister of the deceased that the flowers were gorgeous and much appreciated. I wanted to order flowers for a funeral service of a friend. I was not familiar with the church, it's location or any florist in the area. I picked this florist based on the Yelp reviews. The customer service was great. The guy answering the phone and taking my order was very assuring that the flowers would be beautiful and would get to the church in time. My daughter special ordered a floral arrangement from Bell Florist in Silver Spring, MD for my wife (her daughter) for her 80th birthday to be delivered on Friday, December 15. The arrangement was of poor quality so my my daughter called Bell Florist and they graciously replaced their first order with another and it was delivered on Monday, December 18. Though the arrangement looks much better than the first, the flowers started to "die" out on Wednesday.. When you pay allot for a florist bouquet, you expect the flowers to last more than three days. I ordered a bouquet from Bell for my mother for Valentine's Day. I didn't realize that the delivery address was out of their delivery service, so they used a partner company to make and deliver the bouquet. The bouquet arrived but was completely different than what I ordered. The original bouquet was supposed to have lilies, a mix of roses, hydrangeas, etc, and cost $75. We ended up with half-dying assortment of 3 roses and 2 carnations. I called Bell to figure out what happened and talked to Chad, who explained that they used a partner company. He was apologetic and quickly offered to send a replacement with one of their couriers even though it was out of the area. I appreciated the quick response and their owning up to the problem. They were always friendly and easy to deal with. The replacement they sent was beautiful and exactly what I had imagined. I would absolutely recommend that you go with Bell for your needs... just make sure it's in their service area to get their work! read more
