Jenada(sp?) is incredible! No one likes a Brazilian, but she made the experience quick and virtually painless! I live in DC but it's absolutely worth the trek! read more

Just moved to the area and discovered this place on Yelp...my Yelpers didn't fail me! I will be coming here for all my waxing needs. They are thorough and friendly here, and the pricing is reasonable as well. read more

Sarah is amazing! You will not go anywhere else once you have been here. I have been going to this place for 2.5 years now and i always go to Sarah for waxing. I book an appointment online through their website http://www.expresswaxing.com/ and there are no long wait times. If anyone else is free during the same time slot, they will come and help . So its even faster when 2 people are working on you. They are very hygienic and clean! Sarah is definitely my favorite! Mimi is great too. they are a little pricey but its worth the money you spend read more

Amazing! I found this place on Yelp (which I'm usually skeptical about) but I do not regret my choice! I really wish I remember the lady that I had because she did a great job! It's been almost a month and I am just now needing to consider going back again. Very friendly staff and she did an amazing job making sure I was comfortable and explaining after care to me. Very fast and minimal pain I highly recommend it! read more

Took my gf for her first wax ever. They don't use sugaring here, just multiple types of waxes. After waxing, they go over stray hairs with a tweezer. My gf said it was not as painful as she expected. The aesthetician would rub the waxed area or an area nearby to ease the pain. The room was very clean and they have a device to disinfect the tweezer. read more

I found this gem while I was looking for places on Yelp while living in Falls Church. I now live in Alexandria and still drive out of my way to come to this place for all my waxes. The staff is amazing and courteous. The online booking helps significantly as well and I can cancel easily. Highly recommend. The first time coming in was a bit confusing. It's in the hair salon. Just tell the receptionist you're there for a wax. read more

Another flawless day at Express Waxing with Sarah. She is the great at what she does and is sure to make your waxing experience enjoyable. You will definitely want to come back and see her. She's the only one I go to read more

As far as technicians I've only been to Sarah and Mimi for a female Brazilian wax. They were both equally great. The reviews for Sarah here on Yelp are the reason I began going to Express Waxing, and I haven't been disappointed yet. The treatment rooms are clean, and so are their waxing techniques. They DO NOT double dip!!! The pricing is pretty reasonable, and there is always a 10% off Brazilians coupon available on the Yelp app. The lady at the front desk is very friendly. Appointments are fairly easy to book on their website. I've been coming here for nearly 4 years now, and I have no intentions on switching salons. read more

This is a no-frills waxing salon, but definitely gets the job done! Plan a little extra time to find parking (and to navigate; I had a tiny bit of trouble locating them). This was my first time getting waxed and the woman working really put me at ease. I was a little surprised they didn't offer disposable panties or anything, but I'll still come back here next time! read more

Rita was amazing for doing a Brazilian, pulls very fast and makes conversation so you're not focused on what's happening! Super sweet.

I went in for a Brazilian which I hadn't had in years and was a bit nervous to go to a place I haven't heard about but Sarah was amazing!! She was very sweet and made sure I was comfortable. She not only did a great job but she doesn't over charge like many places do. I will definitely be going back to her!! Also there is a free 30 minute parking area which is very convenient considering the location is right in a busy area. Great place with great service. read more

Love, love, love! Sarah is the best. I've been getting brazilians for a while now, but just had my first appointment at her salon. Sarah is one of the quickest, cleanest, and least painful estheticians I've ever had. She makes you feel very welcome and comfortable. Her prices are very great as well! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great wax at a great price. read more

Sarah is delightful- super sweet, fast, and makes you feel totally comfortable. I had been to her before at the Best Waxing Center in Georgetown, and was thrilled to discover that she had set up shop even closer to me- in Arlington. There's free 30 minute parking in front of the building, and she's located inside the Istanbul Salon. Waxing is never painless, but she makes it as close to it as possible- all with a smile! read more

Sarah is great' I just moved to Maryland and was looking for a new waxer and she was so sweet! I have gotten waxes for over a year now and she has been the best so far. I have never written a review before now and felt I should to help others new to the area with who to go to!! Oh and I drove 50 mins just to go to her!! read more

Let's be honest here--I was very skeptical that a waxer could have five stars. I mean--she rips hair out of you. How can you rate that five stars? I WAS WRONG! I have no idea what kind of wizardry Sarah uses, but man, this was the easiest wax ever. I would highly recommend Sarah for a fast, no frills, easy (as easy as waxing gets) wax. One thing I would note is that she is inside a salon. I was confused looking for "express waxing"--perhaps all ahead to verify the name of the salon. She also lets you book appts. online in advance, which is a huge help! read more

My new favorite place for waxes! I live in DC so its a bit of a hike, but its worth it. Sarah is so sweet and good at her job. At first I wanted to keep this place my own little secret, but Sarah is so sweet that I want to get her lots of loyal clients! She is fast, really tries to minimize pain, keeps her prices low and offers deals. Sarah is really bubbly and full of life! Expect multiple hugs during your visit... even if you've never met her. Website: book online! Super easy (to make, cancel, revise). and you get reminders. LOVE THAT. One final thing. The first time I went- perfect! The second time, i had a bit of a skin reaction for a few days. I used a numbing spray the second time and i'm wondering if that agitated my skin. This may just be my experience, but you may want to mention if you have sensitive skin. read more

Great service. Got my eyebrows waxed today and it was probably the most thorough waxing I've had. Friendly staff and decent price (when I used a coupon). Will return! read more

I went in today for an eyebrow wax with Yana and the service was fantastic! It was my first time there and Yana was so friendly and nice. She asked me exactly how I wanted my brows done and she verified if the wax temperature was comfortable as she set to work on my eyebrows. I didn't feel any pain as she waxed. The result of my eyebrow wax turned out to be great. I'll definitely be back. Oh, and in regards to the poster complaining that Sarah at Express Waxing doesn't have her license- that complaint would be patently false since I saw her license prominently on display in my waxing room. read more

Today was my second time getting a Brazilian wax and Sarah was amazing. She talked me through the entire process and was sure to clean all of the wax after she was done. It was not very painful, my first time was very painful. I paid $45 as a first time customer. Parking sucks but the service was great. read more

Sarah is absolutely fantastic. Great technique and super fast. I made a same day appointment when I couldn't get in at Capitol Waxing. So glad it worked out. FYI: Sarah and the girls from Capitol Waxing received training from the same person. read more

Mimi is fantastic! Saw her for my brows last week and afterward showed me exactly where I need to let them grow in to allow my arch to fully form. She then showed me how to line up the end of my brows, the arch, and the beginning of the brows to my nose and mouth - I never knew it was such a science! Definitely recommend! read more

Mimi is the absolute best! She is patient, thorough, and kind. She doesn't treat you as a client, but as a friend. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Ask for Mimi. read more

So being a first time customer I liked the fact that I was greeted immediately by a friendly staff. I was immediately taken to the wax room and I met Sarah. She did a great job and helped to make the experience as painless as possible. We talked and laughed which helped me take my mind off things. The only thing I didn't like about this place is that it's in the back of a hair salon. The bathroom and wax room are super tiny and so there's not much space to move around or get situated. read more

Great wax. She even got ALL of the ingrown hairs. Miracle.

Mimi was amazing! She is so sweet and helps you to feel comfortable the entire time. She made it as quick and painless as possible. Will definitely be going back! read more

I got my eyebrows waxed by Mimi and she did a wonderful job! Highly recommend!

The name says it all, these girls are QUICK! I've had a few brazillian waxes but never one that was over so quickly but without sacrificing results. The salon itself is clean and the staff is welcoming. Every appointment ends with a hug which could be creepy but totally isn't. +1 for being able to make appointments online quickly and easily. read more

This is the best place to get a brazilian wax. Sarah and Lin are fantastic. So fast, super nice and really pay attention to detail. They are also as gentle as can be with prep and cleanup. All of the waxers here use a technique that makes it significantly less painful than other places while also being super fast and thorough. They are also highly sanitary - no double-dipping, gloves, and they keep the wax warmers and pots drip-free. I like that they wear lab coats and offer online scheduling. Easy to park nearby and also close to a station. read more

I had a very disappointing experience today. I have been going to see Sarah for eyebrow waxing for months now and she always does an excellent job. I booked an appointment in advance and arrived on time for my 1:15 appointment. Sarah was with another client and the receptionist let her know I was waiting multiple times. After waiting 20 minutes I had to leave so I wasn't late for another appointment. I'm not sure if someone walked in and Sarah decided to see them or if another appointment ran late but I don't think it's acceptable to have a client wait that long when they have an appointment. Sarah does a fantastic job and I have recommended her to many people but I'm not sure I'll be back after this experience. read more

Sarah & Rida are awesome! Waxing is virtually pain free and so fast. Everyone is super friendly.

I went here for the first time today and was waxed by Sarah. I cannot say enough good things about her! She was so friendly, sweet, fast, and professional. She even gave me a student discount! All the other staff I interacted with were equally as friendly. Definitely recommend!! read more

Rida provided the best waxing experience I've had. I went to Express Waxing after having several disappointing appointments at European Wax Center. I'm so happy I branched out. Service was fast AND thorough. Rida is sweet and professional. I will be going back here. read more

My experience was fast, easy, and as painless as waxing can be.

The woman was very nice and they honored my Yelp deal even though I accidentally checked-in too early.

I came to Express Waxing after reading the many positive reviews of Sarah on Yelp. This place definitely exceeded my expectations! Sarah was very sweet and made sure I was very comfortable during my whole experience. She took the time to listen to my questions and concerns and made sure I was never in any pain. The last time I got a Brazilian wax, it was quite painful, but Sarah's technique made it much easier to handle. The price point is pretty decent compared to other spas that offer waxing. I also love the fact they they've got a frequent buyer card! I am pretty confident that I will be going to Sarah for waxing from now on. read more

I am always skeptical about internet reviews, because sometimes you get there and they are no where near what the reviews claim. Luckily, this wasn't the case at ALL at Express Waxing. I went to Sarah for my first brazilian wax, ever. As soon as I told her, she immediately hugged me and told me it was going to be okay! She could obviously tell how nervous I was. It was a beyond pleasant experience. She will tell you exactly what she is going to do, and make you feel as comfortable as ever. I also have extremely sensitive skin. I made her aware of this. Waking up today, I don't even have a single drop of redness, which I usually have if I even get my eyebrows waxed. Safe to say I'll be another one of Sarah's regulars for brazilians. Thanks again Sarah! read more

Thanks for helping me find this place Yelpers!!! I definitely agree with all the positive reviews here about Sara. In addition to being quick and virtually painless, I appreciated that she was thorough and genuinely seemed to care about providing a good service. She was also extremely friendly and upbeat, which really helped get my mind away from feeling awkward and fearing a painful experience (and it wasn't!) I totally recommend this place and am definitely going back! Sara's work is definitely worth every penny. read more

I have been here about 5 times to get waxed. The visit is quick and clean. Sarah is very professional and very friendly. I won't go anywhere else! read more

Sarah is fantastic!! I go to her all the time. I get a Brazillian done in 15 minutes, and what's more is that it's BY FAR the most pain-free waxing I've ever had (and I've gone to 10+ people before finding her). I would pay so much more for her service, cleanliness, and speediness. read more
