I work in DC and live in Arlington but made a point to go out of my way to visit Sarah at Express Waxing. All the reviews are true and I am going to make a point to exclusively go back. I used the $5 for $10 deal and when I checked in through Yelp I got a 25% off deal that I'm going to use next time! read more

Best wax in the area! Quick and they do a great job! Def worth the wait too, I made the mistake of going somewhere else because I couldn't get an appt and definitely wished I hadn't done so! Book in advance read more

I've been going here for about a year. Mimi is the absolute best!!! Quick, clean, and gentle. Also more affordable than most other places. I'm never going anywhere else. read more

I love this place. They are so friendly and sweet! They do a fabulous job at a good price.

Go see Chanada! She is fantastic. I have been seeing her for almost two years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Express Waxing has high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. They use a new stick each dip into the wax- think about that! That is huge when it comes to not transferring disease and grossness. Book an appointment with Chanada- she is the best! I highly recommend her. read more

Sarah was amazing! Quick and efficient. She made you feel completely comfortable. To me, she wasn't too chatty. I would definitely recommend her to others and to those who are first timers. With the addition of the 20% yelp discount, you can't beat it! I'll be a regular for sure. read more

Great experience! The service was very quick and thorough. Yana was very professional and friendly. She made me feel very comfortable (others made me feel self-conscious about being slightly overweight.) I'm definitely going back, after all $70 for a full leg waxing is a really good price. read more

I've been here 2 or 3 times, and, unless I have a Groupon or special deal for another place, always go here. The service is quick and good at a reasonable price. read more

Mimi is a awesome! She was fast and efficient, showed me the waxed spots after she was done to make sure I was happy.

Chanada was AMAZING! I went here on my lunch break for a wax service and it was fantastic. Parking took a little trouble but once I found where the place was (it took about 5 mins) it was great! I went right in and was immediately taken in the back! Will definitely recommend Chanada and the services! read more

I'll definitely be back! It was clean, she made me feel comfortable, and her technique caused less pain than any other wax I've had.

I'm so happy I found Sarah again! I used to go to her in Georgetown at Best Waxing Center and now she's so much more conveniently located in Ballston! I absolutely adore her and she's so good at what she does! Shes so clean and never double dips. I had my first ever Brazilian with her and she had a way of making me feel so comfortable and at ease and I've never looked back since then. I recommend anyone that needs anything waxed to visit Sarah. You won't be disappointed! read more

Sarah was EXCELLENT! The establishment wasn't what I expected but she was professional, clean, fast, and a complete sweet heart. This was the least painful waxing i have ever received (better than sugaring). She also took me day of. I requested an appointment online and she got back to me within minutes.I 100% recommend Sarah at Express Waxing. I am about to move out of Ballston, but I will make the trip to her from now on! read more

Sarah was wonderful, efficient, and incredibly accommodating. I was late to my appointment (new to the area...) but Sarah happily squeezed me in with none of the whining and scolding I've learned to expect in the DMV. She is professional, cheerful, and an exceptional talent in her field. I've never had a Brazilian so painless and fast - literally under 10 minutes! When I mentioned I was in the market for a pedicure as well, she offered me a wonderful discount and was able to book me right away with their on-site pedicurist, Angie, who was also wonderfully pleasant and did great work. All the highest marks, in every regard, for Express Waxing. read more

I've had Brazilian waxes before and I am STILL in shock over how much quicker and comparatively painless this one was! I had to wait in I95 traffic from/back to Quantico, but it was worth it! read more

Was looking for a place to get my legs and face waxed while I was in the area and came across this place. Sarah was really nice and she and another girl did a quick, thorough job. And I'm always a fan of places where you can book online. Little pricey though. I would return if I was ever in the area again, but I won't be a regular. read more

I didn't know it was possible to leave a waxing appointment smiling. Sarah is absolutely wonderful -- the perfect combo of excellent client service and waxing skills. The least painful and fastest wax experience I have ever had. After 4-5 years of bouncing around to different places in the DMV, I have *finally* found my go to place. read more

Sarah is AMAZING! I live in the district and go all the way out to Ballston because she's that professional, friendly and good at what she does.. Sarah is fast and meticulous which has led to consistently pain free waxes. Her rates are beyond reasonable, even cheap for what some salons charge in DC, and she NEVER double dips--A huge hygiene shirt cut that a lot of salons also take. I found sarah through living social, and have gone nowhere else since. read more

Wonderful! I have been going somewhere in DC religiously but decided to come here because of all the good reviews and its proximity to my apartment (love that I can avoid driving and parking in DC). Sarah is great in every aspect. Fast but also meticulous. I highly recommend and will continue to go back! read more

Sarah did a great job! I was getting ready to go on a cruise and signed up for several services. She was fast, professional, clean, and minimized the pain as much as possible. She's also very sweet and knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back. It can be tricky to find -- it is actually inside Salon Istanbul but just walk into the salon and ask for Express Waxing and they'll show you where to go. read more

Believe all of the hype, this place provided me with the best wax I have ever had. It's reasonably priced, quick, and sanitary (she used a clean stick every time she needed more wax). I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

Dudes. I made an appointment yesterday with my LS coupon. I went into today for a wax and eyebrow threading. I've waxed many, many places throughout the States, and let me tell you. I have found my Holy Grail of waxing nirvana. Now, waxing hurts. But, miraculously, Sarah's method was the most painless waxing I'd ever experienced. Now, it wasn't pain free, but it wasn't the agonizing torture it usually is. Also, Sarah is super fast. Secondly, the eyebrow threading was spot on. She shaped up my brows in no time. Lovely people!! read more

Referred by a friend and have been twice now. Both times were great but the second time they gave me a frequent user card to earn a free waxing after my 5th use. Just wish I could've received it during my first visit. Guess beggars can't be choosers though. :) read more

Convenient location. Friendly people! Lin did my waxing and she was super kind and gentle.

Great technicians but expensive. My technician convinced me that bikini waxes are the way to go! (It was my first time.) Now I have to find someplace cheaper and hopefully the next one is as good as this place. read more

Having discovered this place thanks to positive Yelp reviews, I feel the need to pay it forward by contributing my own positive review. So happy to have discovered this place. Professional, quick and efficient, reasonably priced, and good at what they do. Have worked with both Sarah and Mimi. Both were great. Sarah is super friendly in addition to being very skilled. read more

I took off work early to make the an appointment I was told was the last available for a wax at 4:30. I arrive on time, but waited 15 minutes to be asked if it was okay that the 5pm appointment go before me. Disappointed that I had to wait. They were great when I got started. Very thorough. read more

Great service. Only 4 stars and not 5 because I couldn't use a pre-paid Yelp deal ($5 for $10) and a Yelp check-in % off together, even though I got two services. read more

I've been seeing Sarah for a Brazilian every single month for nearly 3 years. She is the best waxer. She's quick and fun to chat with. She also gives really good advice and won't up sell you with other services (Never ever asks about my eyebrows or other removal needs). Even though I'm moving 4 hours away, I plan on stopping in to see Sarah whenever I can! read more

So happy I found a great place to get my eyebrows done in Arlington! Sarah is wonderful - so sweet, always remembers me & makes sure I'm 100% happy before I leave. Everything is clean and the staff is always courteous. No reason to go anywhere else! read more

I have found my new go to! Right away Sarah made me feel at ease with her friendly nature and knowledge. I was in desperate need of a wax, but even in that state this was one of the fastest and most thorough waxes I have gotten. I was very pleased and will definitely be coming back! read more

I called the day before and was very happy to get an appointment the next day at the exact time that I requested. Amazing. Simply amazing!!! I got full leg and underarms done yesterday and could not be more pleased. She made the entire experience very pleasant. Sara is super sweet and so fun to talk to. Not only does she do a great job, she's very quick and the procedure was darn near painless. And let me tell you, I don't tolerate pain all that well. I was so happy to find Sara after she left the Georgetown spot. She's got a customer in me for as long as she remains in business! read more

I can honestly say I've never been so loyal to a place for Brazilian waxing. Usually I look for groupons or living social deals because they can be so expensive. I found Sara through living social 4 or 5 months ago and fell in love. She said, "time me. I'll be done in 7min." I was skeptical at first because I was sure she was going to hurt me if she went too quick. To my surprise she finished right at 7 min and it was PAINLESS! I was shocked. There wasn't a hair left & no red or puffy areas. Sara has a sweet quirky personality that helps you get past the initial shy/awkwardness anyone feels when getting a wax. I feel like I'm going to visit one of my girlfriends every time I go to see her. She's great! I Highly recommend this place to anyone considering trying a new salon. You won't regret it. read more

YES! I will NEVER go anywhere for a Brazilian wax - or any waxing for that matter - ever again! Sarah is warm, friendly and highly skilled! I have strong stubborn hair that grows thick... But it was no match for Sarah's amazing hands! I've already referred my sister and would refer anyone looking for quality waxing services!! GO! read more

Convenient for ballston area. Price is good. Sarah is so sweet. Makes the process as quick and easy as can be!

I've been getting Brazilian waxes for years and this was by far THE BEST I've ever had. Sarah is amazing. Won't go anywhere else!!

My first Brazilian ever and Sara made it a great experience! She talks you through the entire process and makes you feel very comfortable. Although this is a small salon hidden in Salon Istanbul, it's definitely worth checking out. The service is excellent! Sara gave me some good tips and I will definitely be back. Thank you so much for the excellent service! read more

Sarah is amazing! I have been going to her since July for Brazilian and was impressed from day 1. I had a horrible experience with my first Brazilian at a salon in Chicago so was very skeptical but she really won me over! Her salon is very clean. There is no double dipping and the rooms are cleaned after each person. I have never been concerned about heir cleanliness. With all this said! Sarah is amazing at what she does. Is super professional and truly bonds with and remembers u after just 1 visit. Going for my monthly visits are not a thing I dread, because Sarah and company are wonderful. They truly treat u like family. Sarah literally makes magic happen in minutes. By the time your brain wraps it's head around the pain, it's over! A few times I have had Mimi and she is also excellent. read more

Without a doubt, the best waxing around speaking from a male's perspective. Sarah and staff are professional, rapid, and precise in their attention to detail. There's a reason she's #1 ranked in Arlington. So for those out there who need to convince their spouse/boyfriend to get some work done, go no further. Just make sure to make an appointment. read more

Good price and very fast but don't expect much atmosphere. Small room for waxing and you are hustled in and out.
