This is my 2nd time coming here. The convenience of the clinic is great. I have always been seen immediately and greeted by such friendly staff. Today I was seen by Dr. Stroh he was so kind and also went the extra mile knowing I was self pay found me some coupons for my prescriptions which saved me a great deal of money. Seen by a PA and she seemed a bit inexperienced and uncertain. I said it was sinus related and was insistent I test for covid when there was no fever, no cough, no body aches, no nausea, no runny nose. She then said test for strep when I said my throat was not bothering me. I said I get these during the season change and didn't even ask about my head and face pressure and tenderness until I asked her do they not check that. She then suggested I ride it out for another 2 days and come back and then she would give me a antibiotic. Like what in the world??!? I said, I said I rather get an antibiotic not and nip it in the bud as I work during the week and can't come back in 2 days. I felt like I self diagnosed myself and told her what I needed and she conceded. Who's the doctor here? There was only 3 of us when I went in and took excessively long to be seen. They bring you back to a room but you feel forgotten. I'd highly recommend another urgent care if you're press for time and need a more experienced physician at another Urgent Care. read more

As a parent I can honestly say I have never seen a "physician" turn a patient away, I've never seen a physician refuse care to a patient let alone a patient whom won't comply with control, not a prescribed service or procedural instruction, nor anything to do with actual healthcare, but control... this physician only cared that she was in control of all aspects of the visit and it's narrative including malice... the physician, not only to turned away a child with a serious infection, but made issue over the fact we would not allow the desk attendant to keep the social security number associated with our policy on her "sticky note" directly violating numerous laws... simply put... unless you are willing to be misdiagnosed and have the physician refuse care while compromising your identity, records and privacy there's no need to subject yourself to the blatant abuse and mistreatment of patients here! read more

0 STARS IF I COULD PLEASE READ IF YOU PLAN ON VISITING ; so I had strep, I visited this location twice because my symptoms were worsening even after receiving medications TWICE, the first time my concerns for strep were completely ignored. I had obvious lumps from my shoulders up and my face was beyond swollen, I was given two steroid medications for a supposed "allergic reaction", okay I'll trust the "profesional" 4 days later I come back with all my symptoms 10x worse. There was no urgency or concern from anyone but from the customers waiting with me, I voiced myself, frustrated, but it is understandable, I was misdiagnosed and not taken serious, the provider seemed visibly annoyed and a bit impatient as well, she did not try to console me or anything but treated me with slight disregard, and then she gave me antibiotics, great! NOT GREAT, 12 days had passed since my first visit and the complications began to manifest, I soon came to find out from an actual doctor at an actual hospital that the antibiotics she gave me were not even for treating strep throat, so my strep began spreading and complicating due to their negligence. If I would have waited and followed urgent cares instructions the strep would have spread to possibly my bones and even my heart in the next couple of days, which could have resulted in my death if I had not seeked actual medical profesional help. These girls are not medical professionals they are practitioners, I have not yet once seen a professional be there supervising these girls making sure they are growing and learning, which I was astounded to see, how is that not illegal??!! This careless could have cost me my life, urgent care do better, equip your clinics with the correct supervision so that another child doesn't have to suffer through something like this again. read more

They can tell you in 5 days whether or not you "have at that point had" the flu, what a joke, Banner urgent care tells you within minutes, what a waste, they got me in quick but didn't help a bit..... said oh probably viral .....should've waited the wait at Banner, lesson learned Update..... went to Banner the next day they tested him right then and there for tonsillitis and he tested positive, BE AWARE THIS FACILITY CAN NOT TEST FOR ANYTHING THERE! I've been having issues for weeks and decided to go in tonight to seek treatment for a sinus infection. Chelsea was the FNP on staff tonight and she was great! She really listened to my concerns, made sure to take into account the fact that I didn't want a certain class of medications and she also answered my questions thoroughly. The treatment was quick and painless, and Lauren the MA was great as well. I usually like going here because to so close to home but it's even better because I'm treated so well by staff and providers. read more

Apparently you either love this place or you hate it! I was the first patient in the door this morning, the girl at the front desk was nice, the girl that brought me back to my room and got information from me was nice, Sarah, the girl that did my X-ray was nice, the "provider," as she was referred to as, was not the best in my opinion! She was cocky and arrogant and didn't even have the courtesy of introducing herself, and acted as if I were a nuisance and bothersome. I will definitely not be back to this place in the future! My son and I were the first ones right at 7am the other day. My son was in a lot of pain due to an ear infection and they got us in right away. The receptionist was very sweet and welcoming. We were brought back fast and the medical assistant was very nice as well. The NP, Chris, I believe was very informative and had great bedside manner. We were in and out in 30 minutes, maybe less. I work at a different urgent care, and I appreciate them all for being so welcoming and efficient! We will be back for sure? read more

I visited this urgent care on 1-14-18 at around 8:15 am. I was immediately greeted by the ladies behind the counter and started on paperwork. Upon completion of the paperwork I waited maybe 5 mins. and was called back by the nurse. She took all my vitals and left and right away a physician assistant came in (I don't remember her name-sorry!). She was very friendly and thorough as she recorded the reason I was there and gave me a quick checkup. She left and very quickly Dr. John Stroh came in, listened to my symptoms, gave me a check up, did a test and prescribed two meds to relieve my symptoms. My total time at this office was probably around 30 mins. I felt like everyone was kind, considerate and professional. I did not feel rushed and I did feel they listened to my symptoms sincerely. I would not hesitate to return to this Urgent Care or recommend it to anyone. read more

I went yesteryear with server sore throat and ear painfull. ,the PA she did strep test and states it's negative so nothing to prescribe it's just a virus and antibiotic dose not help get you better, I can't not believe I have the greenish discharge and she still say nothing prescribe take some over the counter, I always thing that PA not make a write decision or she hesitates to do so, never will go back to this place read more

My son was very sick. I checked in first thing Saturday morning. There was no wait. That was a plus when you have a 16 month old. The staff was very friendly and very efficient. Over all my experience was great. I hope I don't have to return but if I do I will come here for all future visits when we can't get into our regular doctor. read more

Avoid this urgent care if you need a proper diagnosis. I went in with influenza A symptoms worsening and shortness of breathe in January. The Dr told me my lungs were clear, prescribed an allergy medication and sent me on my way. 12 hours later I was taken by ambulance to the hospital where I was admitted for 3 WEEKS because I had double lobe pneumonia and sepsis. Somehow the Dr at this urgent care missed it and did not inform me that pneumonia was a complication of the flu so I had no idea. It was a very scary situation and I wish I would have received a proper diagnosis and gotten care earlier. read more

The staff was beyond friendly here. There was absolutely no wait to get in and be seen. The nurse was so sweet to my son and so kind to me. My son and I both went in with a really bad flu. The doctor was prompt, very informative, and he had a great sense of humor. He made us feel a lot better while battling a nasty flu. He introduced himself by his first name, and was extremely personable. They did a fabulous job and made us feel very comfortable& welcomed. My son had a fever, was dizzy and restless, so they propped him up on the table and made him very comfortable brought him in an ice pack and a glass of water. They ran many tests to make sure my son didn't have anything out of the ordinary, and gave a script for influenza to begin to take as the results will be in by tomorrow. We left knowing that we were well taken care of. I highly recommend this place if you're ever not feeling well I need an urgent care center! read more

We've taken our daughter to this urgent care three times now. She really loves it. We have seen John two times and the third visit was just a re-wrap of a splint by one of the medical assistants (sorry, don't remember her name). John and all the staff are just excellent with kids. Like the other reviewer said, John made my daughter laugh and feel comfortable. She really likes him and he gives her stickers, so how could you not like that? We had to have an x-ray on one visit and the technician is just as good with kids, too. I think very highly of this business and I will definitely be returning to them for our urgent care needs. Their prices are super reasonable, too. read more

Worst place I have ever been to. I was turned away while pregnant. Wouldn't even look at me. I took my daughter there about a week ago as she said it hurt when she took a breath and was having a little bit of a hard time breathing. The lady instantly turned me away and said I needed to see my pediatrician. It was 6:15 they obviously we're not open. I asked her if she could at least check her oxygen. She said sure and came to the window with the machine. Not asking her to sit down or anything. She then looked and me and said her oxygen level is below 90% and she needed to call an ambulance or I needed to take her to ER right away. At this point my daughter is crying as she was cared. I took her to the ER. Her oxygen level was at 100%. Had this place taken the time to look at her and get an accurate reading it would have avoided terrifying my daughter, myself and a hospital visit and bill. I feel like they are simply lazy and don't want to take the time before closing to help a patient. Beyond disappointed with this place!!! read more

I have been to both this Express Urgent Care and their new location off of the 303 and Greenway. All of my experiences with these facilities have been great. However, the treatment we received this past weekend was just amazing. My 9 year old son received 2nd degree burns on his hand from the stove top. Right away, the lady behind the counter recognized that my son was in a great amount of pain and had the PA come out and visit us in the waiting room. The PA immediately pulled him back to administer burn cream to ease his pain. She told us that "there was absolutely no reason he needed to wait in the waiting area in that much pain while she could get some cream on it while we waited." I appreciate the quick action and compassion that these ladies showed us. A short time later he was bandaged and on his way. Thank you for being out in Surprise! As much as I hope we don't I am sure we will be back to visit soon. read more

I have brought my kids here a couple of times for colds and their shots. On 11/1/2015, I brought my kids in so they can get the flu shot. I have 5 children I have adopted and has cared for since they were 4 years old. I walked up to the window and I said Hi I am bringing my kids in to get there flu shots, and the young guy that was working there that night first thing that came out of his mouth was do you have guardianship papers. I thought that was very rude and very racist. No I do not have guardianship papers why do I need them these are my children and they have been here before. Oh he says. Why not ask me if the kids have been here before. Or better yet what is my name or theirs so you can look in the system. You make a judgement called based on our nationality is not customer service. Someone needs to address to him how to talk to people and not base it on nationality or race. Regardless if I am a foster parent or adoption parent we should still be treated with respect. There is a way to ask and talk to people. Hopefully they will school him on how to address people. read more
