We had our Cummins diesel transmission rebuilt here to the tune of $3000. They were very nice and…read moretold us they warranty their work. We took it to Florida and it started leaking tranny fluid profusely. He told us to take it to a tranny shop to have it checked out. We couldn't afford that. So my hubby plugged a seal (which should have been replaced in the rebuild) and that fixed the leak. But since it was a bandaid, we brought it back to him to check it out. He threw a fit saying if we burned it up it was on us and he wouldn't fix it. Bottom line, go somewhere else. You'll get better customer service and probably better work for a lower price. This work was done in December 2020. March 30, 2022, the transmission seized up and needed another rebuild. We took it to another shop since we were thousands of miles away from the original shop. The new shop informed us what a shoddy job the first rebuild was. We paid another $4500 for a heavy duty rebuild. This seems to have done the job, thankfully.

Instead I had to call them four days later to check on it and the guy says yep you need a whole new transmission at a brisk $1900. I said ok let me think about it. I called two other shops locally and then went to pick up my car. Surprised to see it in the same spot that I dropped it off at. I picked the car up took it and dropped it off at another shop and in two days had my car back going strong. Two hoses and a fitting later. And also only $360 and car is driving around fine.. it amazes me that a man can wake up everyday and go run a business like this. Ripping people off. Also they charged me a $49 diagnosis fee for what? NOT A DAMN THING!! What ever you do don't take your car her at all cost!!
