After he walked me to the parking lot I was sold. Great place and the price was better than Oliver's and two other places. Along with being able to get the tires and complete the install. 96 hours total soup to nuts. Highly highly recommend Wilks and Louis. I've had my oil changed there for a couple of years. They now have my tire business for life. Wilks needs to give Louis a raise and a fat ass bonus.

So we pulled off I-65 on the first available exit at Hwy 157 and I hit Yelp auto repair near current location (thankful for my smart phone)! The first one that came up with good reviews was Auto Tech, it was SUnday so we were fearful they were closed. Nope, answered, informed us how to get to the new location, were ready for us when we got there! Very friendly Owner, David, took GREAT care of us. Accessed the problem immediately, got the part, replaced it and we were on our way a very fair $200 later! He was a perfect gentleman & his co-workers were more than helpful to get us back on our way as quickly as possible. Very thankful for good local businesses like this!

I brought my 1965 Ford F-350 to this shop last year based on the recommendation of someone I…read moretrusted. I brought the truck in to repair existing oil leaks, including the rear seal, install new tires, and perform additional mechanical work. Approximately 200 miles after leaving the shop, the truck suffered an oil-pump failure and became inoperable. The shop had put synthetic oil in the engine, and my current mechanic has identified additional concerns with the work that was performed, including issues with the oil-pump gaskets and other workmanship. I have documentation of the original work, invoices, photographs, and the subsequent repairs and findings from my mechanic. I have attempted to resolve this directly with the shop and have asked them to cover the repairs related to the work I believe caused or contributed to the damage. At this point, they have been unwilling to do so. I brought my truck to them in good faith and expected it to be returned to me in reliable condition. Instead, I have incurred significant additional repair and transportation expenses. I am willing to share the shop's response as well as the documentation supporting my concerns. I would much rather have resolved this directly and fairly than post a negative review. Until this matter is resolved, based on my experience, I would recommend exercising caution before having a classic or vintage vehicle serviced here.

My husband called Lake City Auto after 2pm & explained the issue. "Bring it right on in. I'll get the parts ordered while you get here. We'll get you done this afternoon." was what he was told. And, that's exactly what occurred!! We pulled in; they pulled our truck into a service bay; and, less than 1 hour later and at a very fair price, we were rolling. Thanks, Lake City Auto for prompt, reasonably priced repairs that saved our weekend. We'll be back next time we need service.
