I had 5 brand new wheels and tires installed on my 2021 Jeep Wrangler. First thing I noticed was…read morethat my lug nuts on the front drivers side wheel were so loose by the time I got home (5 miles down the road) that they came off in my hand. They tried to blame it on my wheel spacers that have been on my jeep for every set of wheels and tires I have had. It was also such a bumpy ride that my whole vehicle was rattling and bouncing. I had to go back 3 times because they could not get my tires to balance. The first time they were balanced they had multiple rows of 1/4 ounce and 1/2 ounce weights on the wheel. That should have been a key indicator that they lacked the knowledge to balance tires. The 2nd time I went back the tech did nothing but complain about how heavy the tires were, and he also told me that he hated the brand of my tires. He only wanted to rebalance one wheel, and he came into the office to google how to balance it. After the 3rd time they still could not succeed. I called and spoke to the owner before I took it to another shop. He informed me that I am putting 37" tires on a jeep and I should not expect it to ride good. He was extremely rude. I don't expect it to ride like a Cadillac, but I expect them to at least balance the tires the correct way. I asked for the balancing fee back because I was going to have to go to another shop to have the tires rebalanced. I went to another local shop and the balance machine showed all tires being out of balance by several ounces and slightly out of round. The technician at the other shop told me himself that my tires were done half way. It is not uncommon for a 37" mud tire to be out of round. After having the tires rebalanced by the other shop, there is little to no bouncing. It rides 100 times better. So now I have paid twice for the tires to be balanced because of this shop's incompetence. After being shown proof, the owner still claims that his shop did not do anything wrong. The owner then told me he would give me $40 back to help go towards the $80 balance fee that the other shop charged. With the grief I have dealt with, Duck River Tire should have paid the entire rebalancing bill. I wanted to give a new small business my support, but I definitely learned my lesson with this shop. I was more patient than most people would be. I hope this is a lesson learned for them so they don't do this to anyone else, but with the way the owner did not take any responsibility for these actions, I highly doubt that will be the case.

Joey said, "no, we have one way of doing things, we have power tools, you may not be a good fit here." He was correct, I demanded my keys and told him I'm going to go somewhere that I'm a good fit. Don't go here if you want your mechanics to treat your vehicle the way you would treat it. Don't go here if you respect yourself enough to require respect from the people you intend to pay your hard earned money.
