The employees were making batch after batch of the different entrees, and cleaning well between each. So, I did wait a few minutes for the sliced brisket to be on deck. BUT once the meat started going on the bun, a staff member spotted me and asked how many I needed. Just the one. He had it wrapped up and in my hand in no time. The food was good. Everything looked clean. The iced coffee bar hit the spot.

This gas station is enormous and seriously has something for everyone in tow. Even our grumpy pre teen found something that he enjoyed here and when leaving admitted it was cool and glad we stopped! If you haven't tried the pizza here, definitely consider it as they have by the slice and whole pizza options and the pizzas are HUGE! We left with a 3 meat one and had to break it down to get it to fit in our fridge at home. Staff is extra friendly and ready to help, and the place is nice n clean and plenty of restrooms too ;)

The location is right off the Imperial Main St. exit and I've found it is the easiest station to enter. The interior is aged but cleanly, its organized. It ain't no QT, but it works for me as far as convenience off the HWY exit toward my office. The friendly service is what will keep me coming back here too, unless the cardinals score 6 runs then I will make the effort to cross the street median to get that 50 cent drink.

My normal shop was having issues with getting help so I called D & J. Dave answered the phone and was super courteous and scheduled me to come in within a few days. On the day I brought it in, he called me shortly after I dropped it off and told me the estimate to have it repaired. They had the truck repaired and I was back on the road that afternoon. I would highly recommend them. Added bonus, the shop was immaculate.

It's conveniently located on Big Bend, just off of Interstate 44. The staff is friendly and the market most likely has what you're looking for. Or at least something close enough. The same folks have been there for years and will ask you about your day or tell you to feel better if they see you buying some cold medicine. After 11 they do close the door and complete transactions though the window but hey, that's perfectly reasonable and safe. It's true they are a couple of cents more per gallon than the conglomerates but I'm happy to spend that to support the owners and nice people who work there. If you're in TGS this should be your go to gas station!

There are also several hotels and food options nearby making it easy for those from out of town to eat and gas up the car and get back on the road. Due to the issues with the fountain area and the restrooms I'm giving this station four stars.
