This company was able to fulfill what I needed in order to put the cherry on top of my dream engagement. The charcuterie was delicious and they even helped me out by letting me know that even though I had six people in my party, the food is rich enough to order for three to four people. Overall they were able to create a great ambiance for when my party and I reached our room after the proposal and gave excellent communication of when they arrived and were finished! Too caught up in the moment to capture it all, but truly amazing!

I contacted two different florists in Tahoe and was surprised by the price of the roses. I contacted Teresa who owns Bear Essentials with her sister Lisa. I told her I wanted 40 Red Roses in our hotel room waiting for my wife when we arrived. After talking with Teresa, I knew I wanted to hire her. I gave Teresa a budget and asked her to use her discretion on what else to add. Teresa made some other wonderful suggestions to make it more special. The addition of a Red Heart Helium balloon, Big Gold Helium balloons with a 4 0, a dozen candles, rose petals around the roses and Roses on our pillows, and a dozen of my wife's and my favorite cookies. Teresa came in under budget and did an outstanding job. I highly recommend Bear Essentials for any need you might have. Thank You Teresa & Lisa for making our visit so special.

Our group…read moreof 8 was fortunate enough to have Miranda's dinner service for NYE at our Incline Village vacation rental. Some standout observations include: - One of our guests had specific dietary needs, including no dairy, and Miranda made dairy-free versions specifically for them. She was accommodating for all our one-off requests and tailored the menu perfectly for us. - All our communication leading up to the event was clear, prompt, and warm. - The grill at our AirBnB wasn't working and Miranda pivoted seamlessly without skipping a beat. - She plated & served everything at the table for us, cleared dishes, and cleaned everything before she left. She did things like refill our drinks, boxed up leftovers, etc. We didn't have to lift a finger for anything from start to finish. - The food was *amazing* and everyone was impressed. The meals were truly 10/10. Of all the activities we did during our group trip in Tahoe, this dinner service stood out as the top highlight. We are so grateful for a top tier dining experience from a friendly, professional team. I can't recommend Tahoe Mountain Tapas highly enough. If you have the opportunity to book her, you have to do it!

I've never heard of this company until today when one of the drivers (I don't know if he is the…read moreowner or employee) intentionally tried to run my car into the concrete median. On my way to Truckee on highway 80, there was a lot of construction. The right lane merged into the left (where I was). Someone with white truck (NV disabled license plate -which I have) and a trailer, came up on my right quickly (when he should have already been merging left well behind me). He cut me off, forced me to drive on the shoulder between the concrete divider and his trailer for white some distance. I was incredibly frightened. Later, as I drove past, I saw the sign for 'Finish Line Delivery' in his back driver side window. He was aggressive, and he scared me. It wasn't until he saw me filming him, that he backed off. They're not that good. We waited in line for about 15 minutes and 2 people in front of us left. The lady in the front even shouted "waiting this long for a bagel is ridiculous." Turns out they ran out of bagels on a Saturday morning at 9 AM. The fact that there are no menus posted anywhere is just a poor business model. There's no QR code or menus to grab when you enter. People are just left to their own imagined until they see the menu at the front of the line or, they jump on Yelp and find it themselves. After trying this place twice, we won't be back again. We love to come to Tahoe 4 to 5 times a year and truly enjoyed the visit where everything went right. The fact that this is our second visit here and we are not the only customers with the same sentiments makes me sad. Just post your menus guys! And it's a Saturday in October, bagels should be readily available during peak time.
