The wings were perfectly fried, great crust, with a very nice, fresh taste. The potato wedges were very good as well, but the fried okra was a bit on the soggy side - too much time on the steam table. I'll be back for some more chicken!

The fact that I love and now have brand loyalty to a fueling station concerns me…read more Now that I've confessed my embarrassment here is why. A. This location is wonderfully convenient to my house--which may be the impulse buy problem. B. Diesel fuel; consistently at the best price on whatever area. I drive a VW turbo Diesel as such I don't fill up often, but when I do it's always here. C. MTO at sheetZ is a guilty pleasure, but working some of the shifts that I do it's about my only option for a hot meal unless I'd rather cook or godawful McD's *blah. D. The additional car service options; this location has a great hands free pull through car wash. Also the vacuum and air station has always been "In Service" when I've needed them. Not the case in many places. The people who work there are always nice be it 3am when they say I can't buy beer after a double shift (a bummer but I understand their rules) or mid afternoon stopping in for an Iceee to try and ward off the scorching summer heat. One oddity is the seeming constant presence of coppers(a benevolent term coined by Gallic speaking Irish immigrants) quite literally the "watering hole" some days with half a dozen cruisers and as many if not more officers. Thanks for the service. To which to be fair I deal with the Greensboro police and guilford sheriffs more than I ever imagined; all law abiding and good interactions :) and it continues here.

They offer burgers, hot dogs, chicken salad, a variety of sandwiches, a few breakfast biscuits, and for something completely different, Hibachi - steak, shrimp, chicken or veggie. I stopped in to grab a couple of $1.49 hot dogs and some FFs ($1.39). The hot dogs are pretty good, but I'd lose the slaw next time, too sweet, dominates the flavor. The FFs were surprisingly good, very good. Not a bad place to grab a quick lunch or snack. There is a fair amount of inside seating, and a bit on the outside. Service is quickly, if not especially friendly.

You're feeling skeptical right now, but let me tell you I have had better hibachi at Peter's than I have many standalone Chinese/Japanese cuisine restaurants. Always friendly, speedy service as well. They have added a self check out that can help speed things along if you don't want to have a chat with the cashier. I actually prefer the friendly banter with the cashiers. The cashiers are always helpful. I usually use the drive thru for the Pharmacy. Their drive thru is always busy. This is the only CVS for a few miles. Some days the drive thru zips through fairly easily and other days it doesn't. I like to use their app to help track if my prescriptions are ready. With that said, this is one of the only places of it's kind in a fairly large and expanding part of the county, you may have to have a little more patience and grace when getting your prescription filled. Just take a look while standing on line at the pharmacy, there are prescriptions filled overflowing from the shelves. The one "complaint" is the drive thru that is shared with prescription pickup AND Covid testing. The Covid testing is taking up time/space in the drive thru. I know we don't want people with Covid in our store, but we also don't want potentially very sick people having to traipse past us shopping, to the back of the store to pick up meds because the drive thru is too long. There is a double drive thru at this location, I wish they could figure it out. The pharmacist has been very responsive as far as notifying me about potential drug interactions and the tech was very helpful when I panicked because my blood pressure was very high and the blood pressure pills I needed weren't in their delivery. They were able to get me some pills to get me through. I deeply appreciate this location for the location and the care provided by the pharmacy staff. The friendliness of the front of store staff is also very appreciated.
