This is a complete scam ! Not only did he want to charge us $13,000 we kept saying no until he said he would bring it down to $8,000 which is still expensive but more reasonable. The sales man said they were so professional they would move all the furniture and put it back not only did my stuff get damage but the finish product is bad the quarter round un even ! I don't blame the workers at all because the company is who is responsible ! They need things to help move furniture they said it would take 3 days it took 5 ! And one day only one guy came in doing all the work ! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on them, your better off hiring the guys without the company !!!!!!!! I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone ! Concern Regarding Unprofessional Service and Lack of Itemized Receipt. I am writing to express my concerns regarding my recent experience with Express Flooring, which was very poor and unprofessional specifically related to the lack of an itemized receipt for the work completed and the warranty information when I requested to receive either. On 2 Jan 2025, Express Flooring completed flooring installation at my property. While I appreciate the work that was done. I did not receive an itemized receipt detailing the services provided, materials used, and associated costs. This lack of documentation not only raises concerns about transparency but also complicates any future warranty claims or service inquiries. I believe an itemized receipt is a standard practice in the industry and is essential for maintaining clear records of the work performed. It also provides peace of mind to customers, ensuring that we have a comprehensive understanding of the services rendered and the warranties associated with them. I believe that clear communication and professionalism are vital in any business relationship, and I hope that Express Flooring can address this oversight promptly. I recommend that no one use their services due to the rudeness of their customers services office when called to request a itemized receipt and warranty documents, I was told I would not receive and would not allow me to speak to a supervisor. read more

I have been reluctant to review this company as I have been hoping that Express Flooring-Las Vegas would finally fix the damages to my home. I cannot believe that a company could be this bad! And who is this Michael H. who answers every complaint the same. IF you were in fact reputable and cared about your work, you would not be at a two star average! I learned about Express Flooring through mailers offering a fantastic discount and a lifetime warranty. What could go wrong? A lot! We were contracted for 24X24 tile and a 3 day installation. Our first verbal quote was 8-10k. Then Jesse came out and pushed it up 3K for baseboards; saying that the originals would split. I was not pleased but agreed to change them. The installers did not show up. We were rescheduled for the next day. When the two man, non English speaking crew arrived, We found that they had the wrong tile. We were in the middle of a kitchen reno that could not complete until the flooring was in. Feeling between a rock and a hard place, we went to their "showroom" (they have no showroom) to sort out and pick a 24x24 tile. They had none! I watched our salesman call the office to verify product on hand but Venus ultimately blamed the salesman and gave us a $500 discount to proceed. We felt trapped but thought that would be the end of our concerns. It was only the beginning. The one man crew began demo. We felt bad for him as he didn't even eat for the day. Once he did have help, they began to toss debris all over my recently landscaped yard; using old carpet as a buffer. I began to complain to Silva. The following day was worse. They started to dump grout and "masa" into my flower beds and spilled grout on the upgraded pavers. I again sounded the alarm but there was no urgency to resolve. I kept being told that it would be corrected at the end of the installation. The guys chipped the new entry door frame. There was grout dust everywhere. They removed painted baseboards but refused to paint the new ones that I was coaxed into. They even lied about not being licensed to paint (per Venus) ! A little verification with Nevada State Contractors Board sorted that out! My pavers were a mess. I complained to Silva and Mary constantly but initially Silva, someone who was quick to tell me that she was a subcontractor and did not work for the company responded. On the final installation day (about a week later) Silva sent out the lead installer and another installer. The lead became irritable, saying " we have to pour the grout somewhere! " He then left the lone, non English speaking installer to finish and clean up. He did not properly reinstall my dryer, resulting in another expense. He hosed down the yard and covered the grout dumping with rock just before dark. I really hoped that they were better but once they dried, the persistent damage was apparent. And I found the covered dumping. Silva became defensive and I asked that the management team come out to see for themselves. No one ever did. I also demanded that only managers who actually work for Express Flooring communicate with me. I advised the team that I would have my landscaper start a proper clean up. Silva and then Mary who I finally spoke with assured me that someone would be out to power wash again at a minimum, that they would make it right. We are now three weeks out. They repaired an already chipped tile and an uneven tile but no one from the company has ever come to address the pavers. My landscaper could not remove all of the grout with power washing. I advised Mary that I was going to proceed to replace the worst of them. She did not offer any rebuttal. I informed her on Friday that I was replacing them after having a difficult time locating them. Today, after the installation, she pushed back. Really? I really tried to look at reviews for this company. I see them now and they are awful! I do not know how my case will resolve but I have frozen funds until it is fairly resolved. Do your due diligence and pick another company! That little money that you think you will save may cost you more in the end. The flooring doesn't look bad but because of the problems and not knowing what to expect in quality down the road, it is hard to even appreciate them. I just hope that my pavers finally come back to their glory. I am including posting pictures of my landscape from last Spring and then the mess that they created. Michael H. Please don't give me that canned response! read more

Subject: Urgent Request for Upper Management Assistance Dear Express Flooring Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to urgently seek assistance from upper management regarding ongoing issues with our recent home installation project. Despite numerous attempts through calls and texts, we have been unable to receive a response. The installation work remains unfinished, and several issues--specifically damaged baseboards, furniture, and plumbing problems--have yet to be addressed. We had to hire a certified professional to fix three water leaks, which we understood would be covered by Express Flooring, as they were the responsibility of the installers. Multiple representatives have assessed the damages and assured us that everything would be resolved, but we have yet to see any progress. We have documented the damages with photos, which we are currently withholding out of respect for your company. We kindly request that someone from upper management contact us at your earliest convenience to help resolve these issues. Additionally, we would appreciate a visit from a corporate representative to personally review the situation at our home. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Our contact information in on file *going on nearly 1 year! Best regards, read more

Stay away from Express Flooring. I got a price quote for about 450 square feet of tile downstairs and 1500 square feet of carpet upstairs. Express flooring installed laminate flooring to two bedrooms. Installation was great. Problem is... they over bought material that would easily have installed another bedroom. They overbought 7 cases of flooring, 48 feet of base trim, 6 foot of wood trim and 2 boxes (200 ft) of plastic barrier. When I confronted them, they said they'd take care of it. We were to receive a phone call from the VP at the main corporate number today and of course, we never did. The Michael H (Business Manager) is no longer an employee at Express Flooring. The young lady that we spoke with today had to track down who took care of the Yelp reviews and forwarded our information and that we were willing to discuss the matter. The manager at the local store in San Antonio, the salesperson who prepared the quote with 'all discounts applied' but none are listed on the contract. It seems that this company is not interested in making things right and we already need our entire stairway redone after one week of the original install. Sad this company is not willing to help faithful customers are this was our second purchase and last job we are going to do with the company. I will walk on a dirt or concrete floor over hiring this company again. read more

I used Express Flooring and had the worst service experience of my life. Installed the wrong carpet in 3 of my 4 rooms, then came to finish the 4th room as we decided it was easier to just go that route and they installed another wrong carpet in the last room. Had to come tear that out re-install the agreed upon wrong carpet. Customer service is a nightmare, can't get answers from anyone, tried to go up the chain and ask for a credit for the 2 week disaster they caused only to have a regional manager argue with me and pretty much tell me I was stupid if I thought I was going to get more than a $500 credit. *DO NOT USE EXPRESS FLOORING* I had carpet removed from my living spaces and one bedroom. The salesman sold me LVP that would match the LVP already installed in other rooms by the home builder. They brought in Linoleum as an example of what the LVP would look like. When the installation day came, the installers were not Express Flooring employees, they were non-english speaking contractors who left trash and staines all over my house. They showed up without the proper equipment to install the floors and Express tried to pressure me into coming out of pocket to pay for the missing materials. The contractors pressured me into signing a form for them to get paid (I made it clear in no uncertain terms that I was not happy with the install). Not even 2 weeks after install, the flooring that they installed is popping up all over the place. After having them send new contractors to the house twice, one of them told me that I would have to have the brand new flooring I just paid for and had installed replaced! My wife and I have all but given up trying to have Express come back to even look at the flooring. Numerous attempts all end up with us scheduling a call-back and never hearing from them again. When we reach out again, the process starts all over again. If you at all value your time and money, DO NOT USE EXPRESS FLOORING! read more

I am updating my review after the flooring was installed. Let me start by saying the buying process was amazing and we enjoyed seeing how the samples would look in our home before we purchased flooring. Also timing was great. We were giving options for in stock flooring that could be installed the following week. Now for the reason for the 2 star review. Our flooring was laid starting on a Monday. We know with Covid it is common for things to be delayed or to not have enough workers. What was supposed to be a 3 man crew was only 1 guy. He did a decent job on the main part of the flooring. He did miss some caulking and some transition pieces which he later fixed after we brought it to the companies attention. What we still have issue with is our stairs. He left large spaces on the sides of the stair treds claiming its because the wall isn't straight. Interesting take since the stair noses are flush with the wall. When he came to fix it he placed some colored glue in the gaps that did not match the color of the flooring and did not clean up well so some of the glue was left on our wall and the new floors. We called a second time for it to be corrected and he was told by his manager to caulk it which he did. He said later that usually we wouldn't notice any gaps cause there would be quarter round placed there, though this was never an option given to us. Lastly on the landing to the stairs, we noticed one of the flooring pieces was moving away from the riser and leaving a gap. We were told to just kick it back into place whenever it moves. We have called the company again to try and let them rectify this but have not received a call back. Express flooring states they have a lifetime warranty on their product and the installation. Everytime we have called with our concerns, we are met with resistance to help and/or being told that's just the way it is. I wish I had a different experience because the product is so nice and I enjoyed the buying experience. I won't be using or recommending them in the future. read more

I don't even know where to begin with these people. We had a flooring job done in late August. After the job we noticed two small repairs that needed to be attended to. One was fixing the transitional part from our den/office to the floors and the second was fixing some bubbling up/bowing we noticed near our entrance. When I called a week after service, I assumed it would be simple to just call and then get someone out, as we have this lifetime warranty they pride themselves on. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. I probably called 3-5 times a week, talked to many customer service reps (Melanie, Elle, Rose, Danielle etc.) Every single of them gave me "I will call you back about your open repair" or "Someone will come out on the 11th" or "I can't get ahold of Alexandra at the San Antonio office" and it was like this for 2 MONTHS. I finally had to go into the San Antonio office, take time away from work to talk to this elusive Alexandra Rodriguez lady every rep said was aware of situation and couldn't get a hold of. I expressed my frustration to her once there, she didn't have a clue who I was and said, "we have a problem with our customer service reps not doing their jobs" I was baffled! She finally got a repair scheduled and they came out on October 25th. My first request for repair was for SEPTEMBER 7th. I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY, STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Also to anyone from Flooring express who might comment on this review, I will not call the 855 number you provide as that will just loop me right back to the customer service reps! Get your floors done with another company, it's not worth the headache and trouble. read more

I have so many issues with this company. We had carpet and flooring replaced in Jan 2023. We told the salesman that we want the best pad they have. He said that he would upgrade it for free. This is the worst carpet pad I have ever seen. It feels like there is nothing under the carpet. The salesman said that we would get a free vacation voucher. Once these guys have your money, you will not be able to talk to them again. I have sent several emails for them to come out and finish the crappy trim around the bedroom floor. They just cut the pieces and slapped them on the wall however the trim is white, the ends of each piece are raw wood with no attempt to match or paint them. Now, I have the laminate come up in the bathroom. Should be an easy fix but the installer number and email are silent. What a bunch of amateurs. I should have done the job myself like I did in my study. That looks professional. I think they way overcharged for a crappy job. read more

Very bad they didn't even show up we had to call them I would recommend not to use them. They have no customer service skills.

Made an appointment almost two weeks ago for today to have repairs done on part of the flooring that was not sealed properly to the floor. Got the confirmation text confirming my appointment between 10-12, but no one showed up. I called the number provided in the text and got no answer. I then called the main office around 1230 to see what's going on and the lady put me on hold to call someone and her response shocked the hell out of me. She said "someone will contact me when they're available." I received no calls or text messages, then my door bell rang at 3pm as I was getting ready to go out. The individual was completely oblivious about my appointment times and said he will call his boss, so I agreed so I can talk to the boss as well and of course he too was oblivious about my appointment or he damn sure played the role perfectly. Now mind you, I took time off work for this appointment and this is the level of professionalism I received was an eye opener as to how they treat their customers! The installation was good the ability of designer to assist it finding right flooring was good the problem comes in getting accurate information and being able to communicate effectively with those doing the work. Designer does contracts and we were told extra materials would be left on sight and that the balance of the flooring and installation would be paid at completion when we would sign off on the job. Yet money was taken from account before job was signed off on and the extra material were not left at our home. That is material that were paid for. When trying to get the problem resolved you can not get a timely answer. For me timely is within a day. Also told they would call before coming and that was only done by warehouse on the first day. Just had a complete new floor with Carpet and laminate done in my house. I read all the previous reviews after they started the work. I was nervous. Fortunately for me they did a great job. The entire house was completed in five days. Our tile was difficult to remove so it took longer than anticipated. However, the workmanship was very good. They did as they said they would do. They moved furniture and put it back where it belonged. They even made suggestions that helped without adding to cost. I was impressed. The company is terrible about returning calls. I called twice and I still haven't received a call back. So main office sucks , but employees did great. Only problem was the dust and having to clean up. They send an email with a video imbedded in the email. Watch the video. I would prefer the salesperson telling me just move pantry items and take pictures off of wall. They will be covered in dust.
