The problem was, we sold our house and the new owner was moving in late that day; and, we were leaving for Pittsburg airport to have our car picked up by 5:00pm that day for transportation to WestCoast. Obvious, we couldn't reschedule and we had no choice but leave the house by that afternoon With no professional cleaning. As a result, we had to pay the new owner $xxx to compensate for breaking promise (moving cleaning). To make things worse, we got text massage the next day from Pittsburg Pristine complaining our inflexibility, and, we have still not received the $50 deposit fund back up to today! We decided to write this review to 1) let their management understand what was really going on; 2) let their future customers know before they are committed to a contract. One thing we wanted to make clear, we have dealt with their local manager for our moving possibilities; although we didn't pick Pittsburg Pristine for our cross country moving, we must say the manager was very professional in handling walk-through and price quoting part of business. We just hope we didn't have these unpleasant experiences during that extreme stressful time! They are experienced piano movers. 2. Their price is reasonable compared to other national services. 3. Their reviews looked good, and I know I can trust those reviews because they are likely about the people who will actually move my stuff, not some random crew. Overall, I am happy with the service. The estimate was accurate. The packing was efficient and professional. It took them about 6 hours to pack up about ten rooms' worth of stuff, and another 4 hours the next day to load the truck. They stored my stuff for me for two weeks while I waited for the new house. Then they arrived at the new place at 8am as they promised and unloaded everything and set up the piano. Throughout all this chaos, the only casualty was a (not particularly nice) ice tea pitcher. I was happy with their service and would recommend them without hesitation.

I called Schultheis Bros for an estimate. I got there name off of the trans website as an authorized installer. From beginning too end Schultheis Bros where professional and did an amazing job. The sales gal came wrote up an estimate and gave it to us on the spot. Wife and I said ok and about a few days later she came back with lead installer too check over everything too make sure everything was going to be ok for the instal. He decided we did not need as big a but heating int or as big a ac unit as our third floor is not vented. The installers where fast and friendly and did an amazing job. They worked very clean and did not leave any mess at all. I would definetly recommend the Schultheis Bros team for all your heating and cooling needs.

However, after the move was completed, I was charged $655 -- with no clear explanation. On top of that, they broke my desk during the move and showed no responsibility. When I initially scheduled the move, I spoke with Charles, who advised me to book directly through their company (not U-Haul) to save money. I specifically asked whether I needed to provide a truck, and Charles assured me that a truck was included in the $380 price. I booked the move for 9/20/25 at 9:00 AM. The movers showed up at 9:00 AM but said they had not been told to bring a truck. They left and didn't return until around 11:00 AM -- with a U-Haul truck. The move was completed at approximately 2:15 PM, and I was suddenly charged $655. When I called Charles to dispute the charge, he admitted I had been overcharged and offered a $45 refund. He then told me they had added $250 for the truck, even though I was originally told the truck was included. I checked U-Haul's rates myself -- I could've rented the same truck for just $45. To make matters worse, when I tried to pay the movers via Cash App, a warning popped up saying the number I was sending money to had been reported multiple times for scamming. Consider this a warning: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They were dishonest about pricing, unprofessional in communication, broke my furniture, and used a payment method flagged for fraud. You risk being overcharged, misled, and having your belongings damaged.

My nephew happens to have mental health issues to which Patrick offered kindness and understanding. He and his help kept the agreed timeline for packing and moving. When I moved out my apartment in July 2024, I contracted them again to conduct a house hold goods move from Pittsburgh to senior housing in Duquesne. A price was agreed upon, the move was completed, I paid with a credit card. We hugged, said good bye, and I felt great about working with this company. Until, however, in September, another charge appeared on my credit card for the same amount as the original billing in July. I immediately contacted the company, was given an explanation that involved a change in their "processing company," and I should expect a refund within 7-10 working days. After 10 working days, I called to determine the status of my refund, left a message, and despite several attempts, I have never heard from these people again. My only recourse has been to contact the credit card company. I found out the charge had been set up as a recurring charge. I am working with the card company to resolve this fraudulent and unauthorized charge. Do not use this moving company.

Despite being worth tens of thousands of dollars, it was being given away, because the family was moving. As a result though, people were falling over each other to scoop it up. So we needed to get to this thing immediately or we would lose it. I called Moving Kings PA. They were very responsive & accommodating. I explained the scenario, and they said they could get it the very next day. I paid a $250 deposit that night. (I don't know if they normally even charge that. I think it may have just been because we were squeezing ourselves in last minute.) The next day, they were exactly on time, 1:30PM. Once they were finished loading in Monroeville they gave me a call and let us know to expect them here in Butler at 3:11 PM. They were here on-the-dot. Moving it into our conservatory and assembling it for us only took roughly 30 minutes. The outstanding bill was only another $250. The fellows were also all extremely pleasant and made conversation with me and my girlfriend. I think Stratton was as taken with the piano as we are. I recommend them highly.

Last November Movin Murdy moved our household furnishings to our newly built home. The move went…read moresmoothly with the exception of one incident. A section of our canopy bed was accidentally push through the drywall. They were sorry and assured us they had a professional who would come and repair the wall. The person that showed up was not a dry wall man and consequently the repair was unacceptable. We have made several attempts for them rectify the repair but there has been no further contact from their side. I guess we will have to contract someone ourselves. Mistakes happen but it how you make the correction that matters!
