When I have managed to get someone on the phone, I was told to use the app and show interest in the jobs that are posted. I have done exactly that several times, but weeks go by without a single text, call, or follow-up. It has now been over a month, and I still have yet to receive any response. Eventually, the job posting just disappears, and the same cycle repeats over and over. To make matters worse, even when you comment and they give you a phone number that the agency provides in the comment section of the job posting, it does not help whatsoever. There is still no response, no follow-up, and no communication. This has become extremely frustrating and exhausting. It's honestly hard to understand how this agency continues to operate with such poor communication and lack of follow-through. This level of unprofessionalism is exactly why people struggle to take staffing agencies seriously. If you expect people to take the opportunities you provide seriously, then your agency should also take its responsibility to communicate with applicants seriously. If you're looking for a solid job or a staffing agency that is actually persistent and communicates with its applicants, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I came here to get an official typing certificate. This location is easy to get to, and they have their own parking lot which is shared with Concord College and 24 hr Fitness. It was crowded at 11am on a Thursday, but I didn't have too much trouble finding parking. Upon walking in there is a reception desk to the left, and a spacious hall to the right, with computer stations that I am assuming are used for job searches and applications, as no one was using them at the time. I was greeted by a very hospitable woman with lovely green shaded dreads, and she directed me where to go. Ms. Barbara and Ms.Christine were a hoot. They made me feel like I was home visiting my mom and auntie I swear they are the best. I didn't get my WPM up to my usual standard, but I walked away with a certificate nonetheless, with some encouragement and cheering from my newly found family members I didn't know I had. I will be back to up my WPM certification soon.

In the meantime, they got all my personal information, then ignored my calls and email messages for weeks. I started the process three months before the semester began, and my appointment with the counselor ended up taking place about two weeks after the semester started. I think they do this intentionally, just to make sure you don't get the course. Who knows what they actually do with the money. All I got from them was a lot of candy-coated smoke and broken promises. What a giant waste of my time and energy, not to mention that I won't get the training I was hoping for to get a job. I can't wait another six months for the new semester. What a shame when so many people are in need of finances for health insurance, groceries, gas...that our government funds "organizations" like this.

Poor Management, Favoritism, and Lack of Accountability…read more My experience with Company Job Options Inc. has been extremely frustrating. The biggest issue is the lack of consistency and accountability in management. It often feels like promotions and additional responsibilities are based more on how management personally feels about someone than on work ethic, performance, reliability, or seniority. There are situations where employees make significant mistakes and somehow end up being given more responsibility, while dependable employees who consistently show up, do their jobs, take initiative, and genuinely care about the establishment receive little to no recognition or opportunity to advance. The people who actually keep things running seem to be the same four or five employees who have been there for a long time and continue doing the best they can despite being understaffed. Yet seniority and proven performance don't seem to mean much when it comes to advancement. There also appear to be too many shortcuts, loopholes, and gaps in quality assurance. When an organization is understaffed, those problems become even more obvious because the same reliable employees are expected to carry the workload. Another major concern is the way employees are treated. It can feel like your treatment depends heavily on whether a supervisor personally likes you. If they like you, you seem to get more consideration and opportunities. If they don't, the experience can be completely different. There are good employees here who have the work ethic, responsibility, and drive to make the organization better. Unfortunately, the management structure doesn't seem to recognize or reward those qualities consistently. There needs to be more accountability, better quality control, objective promotion criteria, adequate staffing, and professional treatment of employees. Promotions should be based on performance and qualifications not favoritism or personal feelings.
