this is the best computer repair place that you can go to in Bellingham I had a later on it was a faulty CPU and Intel i5 13600 K but Best Buy kept on diagnosing it wrong and they kept on telling me to replace other parts which in total about $600 of me replacing parts not even broken then I got fed up with Best Buy and I took it to express computer care Bellingham, Washington and within 10 to 15 minutes yard figured out CPO and then I came next time by to get it fixed and with an AMDCPU and he completely fixed everything and ever since then I have not had a single problem and I've gained hundreds of hours compared to before where I could only gain one or two hours completely I've never had any single problem and my PC runs grea. read more

I am super, super happy after bringing my computer to Express Computer Care today. I was at first attracted by the business name. I needed express care, not one of those places that wants you to leave your computer there for 2-3 weeks. Who can do that? So I read up on these reviews and got a really good feeling for this place. I am so happy, it works like a dream now. I had been getting the dreaded blue screen of death, and he restored the computer so it's working better than it ever was, and saved all of my data. The business pc was getting slower and slower. I had a feeling it was on the way out. Thinking quickly, I reached for the backup pc I had purchased two years earlier. As I was logging on to New PC, the screen dissolved to black and stayed that way. Of course this is all on a Friday afternoon. I called express computer and left a message. I got a call back from Moses a few minutes later. He'd be open in the morning, I could bring it in, he'd have a look. It took him about a minute to determine the problem - bad hard drive. I have an old (ancient?) firewire 400 backup drive I put together with a Maxtor hard drive and firewire kit, years (decades?) ago. As computers and technology advanced, I was unable to read the disc with my laptop or iMac. I went to Best Buy, showed them the broken 9-pin power cable, and the best they could offer is 'breaking open the case' and extracting information from the drive inside. I'd put the case together myself, so I know it didn't have to be 'cracked' or 'broken open'. And even then, I'd have to make an appointment. They recommended Express, so I went there. Immediately, Moses said 'we can use a different case with USB.' He took out a screwdriver and had the case open in less than 5 minutes. Then he found a device that worked with the Maxtor drive to connect with USB, and connected it. I took it home, added the power connector, and it mounted to my iMac. There was a sense of urgency to get this done because one of my best friends had passed unexpectedly, and I had stored a lot of images and video on this drive thinking I could always access them. Sure enough, there were hundreds of pictures of her from our many adventures together from 2009-2015 I was able to send to the person arranging the memorial. Moses saved the day. read more

I had a very good experience. I would recommend them to family and friends and would return to them in the future. Their shop definitely had the small town ambience. They were polite, honest, professional, and the certificates on their walls attested to their training. As a software engineer who has provided PC support, I could tell that they knew what they are doing. I came in with an older laptop, which I was ready to throw out. I had tried to fix it myself and wasn't sure if I had inadvertently fried the hard drive or not. Since I had two other computers I was not willing to spend a lot of money on an old machine. Working on your desktop computer is not the same as opening your own laptop, oops, next time I will leave that to the professionals. I said that I wanted to limit their work to the minimum service charge, which they did. While I was there they verified that the hard drive was alive, a big relief, so I left them to it. That same day they called to say that it had been fixed, and they helped me understand what I had done wrong. Everything is now working fine, which they showed to me in the shop. So for $100 I have a working laptop and can get my stuff off the hard drive. No complaints. read more

This company is probably one in one thousand. Moses Ma is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond and return customers is their priority, so I have never been charged for an expensive diagnostics test that many companies make a huge percentage of their profit on. Dude... These guys are the absolute bomb. Seriously. I dropped my laptop and busted the LED screen. I didn't have enough money to pay them to fix it professionally. And so... I popped in and they told me how to do it. Don't want to recommend these guys as a laptop workshop facility. They need to pay the rent and the light bill, like we all do. But, they were cool enough to throw me some advice without a sale... even though they had half a dozen laptops on their back that they were busily repairing. These guys know their stuff. So great! So helpful! My laptop's screen died so I brought it in to see if it was worth saving. The guys there diagnosed it in about 30 seconds and asked if I wanted them to replace it with a used screen they had on-hand. They quoted me a really reasonable price and said it would be ready in 2 hours. When I came back, it was all fixed up and he said he had even cleaned up my harddrive so it wouldn't be so sluggish. I was working on a server tower I barely mentioned the fact I was turning it into a gaming pc when the guy working there (seemed like the owner, asian dude), was super helpful and found me the best RAM, a cheap sound card, and helped advise me on my power supply. He even discounted my final price because the server memory was so expensive. I looked up the ram online and it was selling for almost the same price on NewEgg and I didn't have to wait for shipping. I have been to alot of pc stores in Bellingham and most of them do not sell parts, only full pc's and repair services. I will be back for more, I just found my new PC guy read more
