The dining rooms were themed to represent cities and regions in France. And they are exquisite from floor to ceiling. I was told to make sure I made a reservation about a month in advance. I did not, I wasn't sure of my timing through the station. But there's a way to still enjoy the beauty and eat. Le Train Bleu also offers a bar area. Here there are several small lounges with luxury interiors. It is possible to sit in one of these areas, but you may have to wait. My timing was perfect. A 5 minute wait. The cozy spot had gorgeous dark paneling and felt so warm on a December day. The service is impeccable no matter where you sit. The bar menu is quite toned down from the restaurant area. Lighter bites for travelers in between trains. I am a croque Monsieur addicted and wanted one last one before leaving Paris.
