Highly Recommend. I can't not emphasize how much this place and these people came in clutch today. I was driving to LA from Ventura County when i got a low pressure tire the morning of my cousins DMV Driving Test. I called to see if they could get me in and their customer service was on point from the beginning. Instead of turning me away because i didn't have an appointment, they asked what kind of service i needed. They said I could drop in and they'd take a look at my tire. Come to find out I had a nail, the asked if i wanted it plugged or patched and explained the price differences as well as their recommendation. they were quick and efficient. Just simply so kind and friendly. As i was driving away, they waved me down before i could pull out of the lot. They noticed my break light was out! They replaced it for me on spot... As I expressed my gratitude due to it being the car the DMV would inspect later that day, they immediately inspected all of my lights and replaced another one that was out. This place is 10/10. I cannot say enough great things about the guys at Express! They are seriously amazing. They know what they're doing, detail oriented and honest. After other shops, including people I've dealt with specializing in the sales of automotive AC compressors, Smart Car specialist in Signal Hill, other purported ASC certified technicians failed in their desire, approach, or diagnosis or just plain gave up to fix my AC not working problem. then... I remembered Jorge at Express Auto Center, who builds 1000 hp street legal highly computerized modern muscle cars, and had in the past made my go fast cars go faster ( since sold off). Glad I did because his technological and electrical know-how transfers into repairs of daily transportations; with today's unending array of computerization that bog down, impede and lays waste to ordinary mechanics, Jorge makes short work of. We brought in our Corolla to get fixed up and they charged us over $1000 to restore it. Right out of the garage the brakes were squealing like crazy, check engine light turned on, and the engine started knocking crazy. Now they wanna charge us nearly another $1000 to fix problems they should've have foreseen the first time around. Bunch of scammers. If you got any major issues don't come here. read more

This is the second time I go to this repair shop, get my car fixed and they DON'T CHARGE NEED ONE PENNY! The first time I went there, they insisted I go to my dealer and check if the repair was covered by a manufacture recall, and it was, so I didn't pay for that repair. Today I took my VW for repair, they fixed it and didn't charge me. They told me a wire was loose and they would not charge me for a minor fix like that. I've never had a mechanic sit down with me and explain what was wrong with my car, why certain parts needed to be changed and even gave me tips on how to keep up with my car maintenance. "Our customers love us to bits." -after dealing with them, it's not difficult to understand why. My mom brought her 2008 Suzuki XL7 to the shop due to "loss in oil pressure" on the dash (the car needed more engine oil). We asked the shop to change the oil and filter on the car, and the mechanic discovered some metal shavings mixed in the used oil, which indicates engine damage. There was a miscommunication regarding the oil type needed for the car, but Ernie replaced it without cost. Ernie was also very helpful and patient in explaining the possible problems with the car. He did an amazing service, was very friendly, transparent and even gave valuable advise onto how we can properly care for our vehicle. 10/10 would come back and would recommend to others. read more

My car been there 2 months and no one's notified me or follow up I had to call and always no one answered

I brought my car here from a recommendation from a friend. The owners Jorge and Ernie were both there and they were able to take my car right away and quoted me a price on a new transmission that was far better than any others I had gotten. The quote was about 400 less than the others I had gotten. I love my car and wasn't ready to see it go so I agreed and they began work immediately. They even were able to drop me off at home so I didn't need to wait for a ride. The shop is open 6 days and they finished my transmission and had the car back to me within 4 days. That was almost a year ago and I haven't had any problems with it since. I have taken my car in for other minor fixes and have always been happy. I recommend the boys to all my friends and family. It is hard to find a good mechanic, I have been searching for years but never been able to say that I have a reliable one but since I began going to Express Auto Center I feel like they are taking care of everything. Before going to them I considered buying a new car but Mona seems to have many more years in her! read more

These guys are my go to, I've been coming here for years now. Sometimes there's no wait and I can get things done the same day but I'm sure the more popular they become that will change. They've always quoted me fair prices. When I decided to go somewhere else I ran into mechanics quoting me hundreds more than these guys every time. Convenient location and usually there's street parking. They'll have a nice conversation with you and never give you a bad vibe, everything always seems very fair and sound. My cars been running for years and it's a 2000! Great people here who know why they're doing and are overall nice people. I highly recommend going to them. read more

Just wanted to update my review on what an excellent place this is. Can't compare any of the local mechanics with their professionalism and gratituism to their clients. I had the brakes recently fixed on my Honda civic 2004 ex, from the rotors to the inner brake boot that was leaking all over my brake disk just eating away at it. I remember the horrible screeching noise it use to make along with a scary buzzing sound that would happen upon braking. But now, absolutely no sound, along with solid braking and more control over my car. They also went out of their way to clean the disk and apply a protective layer of paint to keep it from rusting. Yes I'm very satisfied with their work as they will go out of their ways to not just make sure that your vehicle is serviced to your desires, but will go the extra mile to alert you with any possible problems the vehicle might present; like the fact that there was a loose article in the underbody of my car located near the tire which, if neglected maintenence would have led to a loss of control of the entire vehicle. A possible life threatening situation for me, to which at no cost was entailed except for the fact that they will, before you leave make sure the vehicle is safe and secured. I have my car over there now getting the last of the repairments done and have full confidence that the service will be perfect! And, another huge shout out to Ernie who gave me a lift the other day because my car was being serviced, and another to George with being so professional and explanatory through every step! read more

I love this place so much. Fair prices, quick work, and most importantly, honesty. Ernie and Jorge are very courteous. I came here with my Honda Civic that I purchased used but in great condition and low miles. Right after getting an initial tune up elsewhere, the check engine light came on. I was a young woman with her first car, aka I knew nothing. They did not take advantage at all. They ran the diagnostic and said I would probably be covered under warranty and referred me to the dealer, who repaired for free. Later I needed body work done and they recommended a great shop. Then today, I needed an oil change, tire rotation, and brake check up. They were very nice and fixed it all up quickly. Ernie taught me all about oil and why it wears down, with a diagram and everything. He taught me what different brake sounds and feels meant and said he could replace the brake pads to fix the squeaking but that they had plenty of life left in them and were not a safety hazard. Again, another opportunity they could have told me I needed to pay for something, and they didn't. I feel so taken care of here and would recommend to anyone. read more
