I can't recommend this company enough!…read more The Rapid Repair team fixed my dryer, a few weeks ago. As Anthony, my technician and owner of Rapid Repair, was leaving I mentioned that our freezer had stopped making ice and was leaking water both inside and outside. This is when I found out that Anthony's is certified and licensed specifically to repair refrigerators and freezers! We made an appointment and he came back a few days later and saw that the waterline was clogged and the ice maker motor had gone out. He quickly found the parts and came back a few days later to repair our freezer. The repair took about 45-minutes and stated it was a fairly common issue that happens with just wear and tear; nothing serious. He even helped to reset our water line that was pushing on our condenser fan and make a loud noise every so often. In total, we paid $200 that included parts and labor, which I feel is amazing! Anthony is punctual and gets right to work when he arrives. No chitchat, which I greatly appreciate!

Anthony responded to my repair request in less than 10 minutes. He had availability same day and I…read morewas able to schedule at a time that was convenient for me. Our washer randomly started leaking (heavily) yesterday. I reached out this morning and he has already come to diagnose. Unfortunately, it's more worth it to replace than repair. His fee included the diagnostic and labor, however since there wasn't much labor other than the diagnostic he was very negotiable with a lower rate. I would 100% use him again in the future if we ever have another appliance issue.

My freezer's light stop working. It was only 3 years old. I used Google to find a repair person…read more This place answered my call first and available to come next day. The technician was very professional and patient with me. He found the cause of problem and explained the solution. My dryer did not work properly either. I asked him to fix it. He came with another technician next day. It was a quick fix. I was thinking to buy a new one. I saved some $. It's been over a month since they fix two products. No problems at all. I will call them again if I need hep with my appliances. I highly recommend AFAR when Yelp readers have any appliance repairs need.

The Problem: My GE side by side was making a lot of noise. The noise was coming from the freezer…read moreside and was becoming more constant. I noticed it was having issues defrosting and there was a lot of ice buildup. It was also struggling to get to and stay at the correct temperature. The last few months my electric bill has gone up a significant amount and after calling PG&E they suggest it was probably the refrigerator. I called Best Fresno Appliance Repair and they said a service call would be $89 so I agreed. Harry came out and looked at the refrigerator for about 15 minutes checking the ice maker and water filter and door then told me the problem was the Evaporator Fan Motor (a $70 part) and quoted me $450 (less the $89 for the service fee). I was shocked at the price. I asked him if he had the part available and he wasn't sure but said if he ordered one it would only take a few days to get it. I decided to wait on making that decision and he left. After the sticker shock I decided to do some research and after watching 3 maintenance videos I was able to tell the fan was working properly and the problem was a free fix... I just needed to vacuum the coils in the back of the refrigerator (he never looked there). After removing 6 bolts and cleaning the coils and fan with a vacuum and a can of compressed air I put it back together and turned it on. It works like new, no noise, stays at temp, no ice buildup, etc. I went back to PG&Es website and my power usage has cut from 49kwh to 28kwh. I'm not saying they couldn't have fixed an actual problem or they aren't skilled workers but not only would they have replaced a part that was not broken but they would not have addressed the actual issue, probably making me have to pay for them to come out again and hope they figured it out.

Needed a new water heater badly. Ours was circa 1996 and finally hit the skids. Shocked at the…read morecosts as we explored the big box stores. You know the ones (H.D., and L's...?) The price of the unit was one thing: 40 gallon tank, good brands, range of warranties from 3 yrs to 9 yrs, self-cleaning options and not, had prices from about $740 to $900. But, what was most staggering was when I asked about the delivery and installation prices $2100 to $2500!!! Yes! Called one of our favorite independent stores, Ventura, and Robert referred me to Angelica at Super Air. I called her and was greeted professionally, and given all the details for what she could provide: same great brand as the big box stores, the max warranty of 9 years, included the self cleaning option, and got the item delivered and installed THE NEXT DAY WHICH WAS A FRIDAY for $1600! The young men who came out to our home, Josh and Sal, were timely, diligent, hard working, and super pleasant to boot! Thank you Angelica for unbelievable customer service and a great product!

People hire "professionals" for their opinion and guidance and when said professionals/companies take advantage of people who put their trust in their work ... they should just be ashamed. We hired this company to do an inspection on a home we were looking to buy. We got the report of findings which were all accurate so I can least attest to that honesty. However, on the details of their recommendations they stated a price of a tune up. Basically told us as the potential new owners - this unit is old and buy some home warranty BUT give us this money and we can tune it up and it'll be good to go for you guys. We bought our home end of April and by first week of May the heat hit and our AC went out. I called the company to see if they could get a technician out and other companies because it was hot and we were desperate for someone to help fix the problem ASAP. We got another company out there and to our surprise we got told "your unit is basically SHOT. Expect to buy a new AC asap because pouring money into this is basically just going to bleed you out!" We got a quote for 17x the initial quote to fix the existing unit and basically at that point it's just time to buy a new unit. Now, after about a day or so Super Air finally calls us back regarding my initial message. They specifically tell us "I remember this house. That unit was not going to last this summer but you know realtors don't like us to say that the unit is dead so that's why I put to buy home warranty." My jaw was on the floor! We paid for you guys not the realtor and we trusted your inspection that the home we got would be good. So a week into our new home buying we also had to add the purchase of a brand new HVAC system. But you know Super Air did offer us a discount for a new HVAC if we purchased through them. Overall, I wouldn't trust any business from this company nor give them any business because I wouldn't wish our situation on anyone!
