The food is just on point but won't blow you away, it's there to be there. As the craft beverages thing is on the rise globally, it's great to see them keeping it real. There's also some guest taps here so there's a selection to be sampled. And the atmosphere is great if you're in town for work or with friends as it's laid back and easy to drop in.

The Niu Rou, a beef steak with spicy sauce, peanuts, bok choy, egg and sesame ramon that was the best thing I ate in Barcelona. It was perfectly spicy, the was meat tender and the bok choy was fresh. The Blacklab fries were also delicious. My daughter liked her dumplings. The beer was outstanding with a nice variety of styles. The owner, Matt, a Minnesota transplant, was very helpful when I ask for dining and attraction suggestions.

They're dog friendly and you'll often find pups in the mix indoors or out (I bring my regularly). The food is mostly good. I'd skip the pasta, but the mexican burger (black beans) and the bravas (with harissa and using sweet potato) are great. The croquettas are also always awesome and they are seasonal, made in house and often have things like swiss chard or truffles. The brownie with ice cream is decent if you're missing a real brownie from the states, as most of them in BCN are not really brownies but more like bland chocolate cake. This one is legit, however. Hummus is also nice, as are the mojopicon olives for snacks. THose are the highlights. Beer selection is always pretty good, there are actually 10 taps, but two are low pressure something or other. They have organic lemonade and some other non alcoholic drinks as well; someone else said the wines aren't great and that's true, it's not really a wine spot.

It was listed as a must visit for souvenirs and I added it to our itinerary. My friends were a bit hesitant to come here with me because they had no plans to buy any oils or vinegars but after our awesome tour and guidance from Carlos, one of the business owners, they were ALL IN. Carlos thoroughly explained every single product in their store and answered questions like how everything was made, ingredients, quality, etc. We got to taste everything our hearts desired. I ended up buying a couple bottles of white truffle oil, hazelnut oil, date vinegar, and balsamic vinegar. I've never tried such a wide variety of oils and vinegars and trust me when I say this but it's going to be the best thing you've ever tried. Who the hell knew date vinegar existed? It's so sweet, thick, rich, and so delicious. I have no idea how to use it but I wouldn't mind drinking a spoonful everyday. Their balsamic vinegar seriously changed my life. It's so thick and so tasteful just on it's own. I need to throw out my market bought vinegar at home. Once you pick out what you want, you choose the type of bottle and size. If you're traveling, they'll seal the bottle and if you're gifting it, they'll wrap it nicely for you. Superb customer service! We were so hungry after shopping here, Carlos gave us some restaurant recommendations and even called the restaurant to reserve a table for us. He's so hospitable and awesome!
