They have mini golfing where you can rent equipment inside the facility. They have a great playground area and outdoor fitness equipment. Inside the facility, they have a free pool and gym area. They offer a variety of classes such as yoga, water aerobics, etc. Make sure to check out their website or pick up their schedule at the facility for hours of operation. For first timers, you will have to fill out a form and don't forget to bring a large sized towel for workouts! There's a really great large dog park next door but there's no entrance to the dog park from Mary Jo Peckham. You would have to park at the Katy Library to enter the dog park. More than average quantities of ommats at the bottom of the slides here too, which is useful when you have a one year old who wants to do the big kid slides but can't always land on his feet. The trails leave much to be desired, probably the most underwhelming 'trails' I have been on. The place has a claustrophobic feel. Long and narrow, surrounded by a busy street on one side and a neighborhood on the other, fences either side of path as it narrows to a turnaround point. More like the trail a toddler could begin on. Feels like I'm in someone's backyard really. Not scenic at all if don't you get my drift by now. And I guess I've come to realize after visiting many trails in parks that the environmental beauty largely correlates to our enjoyment. So if I come here, it's for the playground equip mainly.

The walking paths are too short and the park is small to do any serious speed walking or running, but plenty of grass area for pets to roam around and park benches along the way in case you want to sit down and take in the scenery. The park has a pavilion which you can rent for $125 deposit which will be returned to you after the event and satisfactory cleanup. The pavilion has both a sink with running water and a huge BBQ grill that uses charcoal. There is also a gazebo which is first come first serve and clean bathrooms. I think this will work for our event the question was whether we could boil crawfish onsite and they said we could. Unfortunately there can be no alcoholic beverages with out a policeman. Aw well.... If you proceed further into the park it has several soccer fields and baseball diamond for palay.

For the views, plenty of trees and rocks adorn this area. The pathway also connects to the Cinco Ranch shopping area. Neighbors/residents are blessed to have this here; enjoy and treasure it!
