What a bizarre experience... I purchased a Groupon for fibroblast, and texted the number on the listing to schedule an appointment. The owner told me she now works out of her apartment...umm, ok, little sketch, but I figured maybe it was a post-COVID thing. I had the appointment set for nearly a week, and the owner texted me 2 hours before our scheduled appointment to cancel and reschedule for later in the day. I work 70 hours a week and can't just up and change my schedule last second, so I told her just to refund me. She then said I'd have to contact Groupon to be refunded...annoying, but whatever. While I'm chatting with Groupon for over 20 minutes, I get a text from the owner telling me her personal issues about her dentist appointment and how they were running late and she can't just up and leave for our appointment. What??? WHY do business owners do this? I am your client. I don't want to hear about your personal problems or poor planning that has now disrupted our set appointment. I would never do this to my client. I get my personal business PERSONAL. Funny, if the roles were reversed, she's try to change me a fee for canceling last minute on her, but it's OK that she does it to her client. I honestly feel like I dodged a bullet. The bait and switch on the address was red flag #1. I should have canceled then. The last minute cancellation was red flag #2 and a terrible frost impression. The odd texts that followed were nutty. I use Groupon to weed out the bad from good before using them a lot in the future. So glad this one didn't work out. Beware. read more

Jennifer is beyond accommodating and kind. My girlfriends threw me a surprise bachelorette party and Jennifer helped make it special! She prepared her suite to look fabulous, decorated with balloons, had wine glasses ready for us, and even added some delicious chocolates to the mix! I was pampered with the Microdermabrasion Facial and my skin was in heaven! The facial was very effective and included extractions (which my face needed). I've been doing the peel and microderm on a monthly basis with Jennifer, but for this last appointment she suggested I try the dermaplaning procedure. She noticed that my chin had some dry patches (from me forgetting to moisturize that spot lol) AND when she examined my skin under the light, she noticed the fine, peach-fuzz hairs on my skin and recommended it. I trusted her instinct and decided to try it. If you're not familiar with dermaplaning, it's essentially similar to getting a really close shave, except the professional uses a small scalpel at a 45 degree angle and lightly scrapes the surface of the skin. This results in removal of visibly dry skin as well as fine peach fuzz that can sometimes cause the skin to have a powdery haze in some flash photography. My skin was visibly smooth, almost creamy, and soft. All I can say is I'm not only a fan of the dermaplaning, but I'm a fan of the customized service that Jennifer offers. This is one of the major benefits to having an independent esthetician who can suggest treatments based on how your skin is from month to month. read more

I got eyelash perm and Tint by Jennifer. She did a great job and provide you great service. I didn't expect to be as pleased as this because she was so friendly. The result wasn't in my expectation. I got the D'Luxe facial and extractions and Jennifer did a great job. I felt very relaxed and comfortable the whole time. My skin felt wondeful after and overall feels fresh. She uses good quality products on the face and was also very friendly and helpful in giving me advice on what products are best for the skin. Do not recommend! Jennifer is 100% NOT an expert in this field. New to the area and have been around the block globally for 35+ yrs when it comes to spa treatments in their entirety from super high end spas to sole practitioners..This was THE absolute worst in my vast experience. First when trying to book, booking systems were down..lots of texting going back-and-forth about that.. system scheduling issues.. it happens so not a huge deal however the day of the appointment I receive a text that she's running 10 to 15 minutes late to arrive at her space only to find out I was her only client that day.. Could not have been more disappointed in my facial that was completely half assed. I feel ripped off let alone the hack job Jennifer did on my eyebrows. On the phone I was told the facial would be an hour.. it was 32 minutes, extremely rushed as she was more concerned about her grocery order pick up than A repeat customer. I stated three times I'm in no hurry and she didn't need to rush my treatments. She talked incessantly and a mile a minute (a facial should be relaxing) & when asked specific skin care questions as I played ignorant her responses were absurd for a self proclaimed "expert"." Inclement weather was hitting MUCH later, 6-8 hrs after my appt completion time so I didn't quite get the urgency to get me in an out being the only customer of the day for her today as she mentioned twice. I would've preferred that she just canceled & saved me my waste of time & money for such a terrible facial & the completely horrific & inexperienced eyebrow lamination treatment. My eyebrows are uneven, not at all fuller, now wirey, look ridiculous with bald spots in my brow and unfixable because she plucked in the exact area of the brow you are never supposed to remove brow yet left growth needing plucked when I was able to see in the mirror in my car.. I could not wait to get out of her salon suite and only briefly looked in her mirror.. Products used were cheap & not at all aromatic. $220 Plus a 15% tip which I left out of courtesy.. my stupidity! Felt bad because I like to support local businesses particularly given the hard times caused by Covid for so many. Just don't get all the positive 5 star reviews I read before booking. I'm quite baffled this woman has a cosmetology license at all. Dilemma was to ask for a refund or spare others such a waste of money, time and bad services.. I chose the latter! Seriously Considering filing a complaint with the Dallas cosmetology board.. that's how bad my services were!.. **It's a shame as much effort or anything close was put into my services as it was to your absurd, inaccurate response.. learn to read your customer.
