Actually the order from the other never came in and we finally just cancelled the order. So we are given a date for the carpet to arrive at Carpet one...... didn't happen. Installation was postponed for weeks later. They scheduled the installation for 10 am. We moved all of our furniture off the carpet stuffing bathrooms and kitchen with furniture. On the very day of scheduled installation and right at 10 a.m. they call to postpone for the next. I went into the store to make my feelings heard. They then agreed to show up a couple of hours later. They removed the old carpet and pad and only installed the new pad, leaving us with exposed tack strips and our furniture still stacked up. Absolutely not what we were expecting. This is only three rooms! I'm guessing that it wasn't enough of a job to apply full effort at it. Until tomorrow or possibly even later we will be enjoying our freshly laid padding and tack strips. Thank Carpet none.

Defective boards were installed throughout the floor. When this was brought to their attention, Bell Hardwood Floors refused to replace the defective material and instead offered to fill visible defects with wax. That is not an acceptable or professional repair and does not correct the problem. During the installation, significant damage was also caused to our kitchen cabinets. At Bell Hardwood Floors' request, I obtained a written repair estimate from a qualified cabinet refinishing professional. The estimated cost to properly repair the damage is approximately $12,000. After receiving the estimate, the owner, Johnathan, stated the amount was too high and then said they would deny responsibility for the damage entirely, despite admitting he is not an expert in cabinet refinishing. All of this is documented. The estimate came from an actual expert. Refusing to accept professional documentation while disclaiming expertise is not ethical or responsible business behavior. As a disabled veteran, I expected honesty, accountability, and basic professionalism. Instead, I was met with deflection, refusal to stand behind workmanship, and an apparent attempt to avoid responsibility once damage was discovered. I am now left with no option but to pursue legal action. Take your money elsewhere. This company is not worth the headache, the financial risk, or the stress that comes when something goes wrong.

The two ladies at the front desk are less than helpful. I initially went in and asked for a room…read morethat was 18 feet by 15 feet (the actual room is about 17x14 so I added extra just in case). They told me they had to have the installer come measure so it would be accurate. Which I had to wait a week for him to come measure. I had to call multiple times to get on the schedule to get my carpet installed. One of the times I called, I was told she was doing payroll and would call me back. I was told multiple times that she would call back and never did. It was over a week after I had paid for the carpet before I finally got to talk to the person to get on the schedule. Then I had to wait another week to get it done. The people to install the carpet showed up and were not told what they actually had to do so they didn't have the tools to pull up the laminate that was there. Luckily we had the tools for them to do that. Then they didn't even have the size that we needed. The professional that came to measure put 12x18 with a fill of 2'6"x18. Well, they obviously don't know what they are doing there because they only sent and charged for a 12x18 piece. So then, we end up having to pay for an entire other roll of carpet because they don't cut rolls. So we had to pay another $315. So the food price was negated by that. It was no Longer a good value. The two that installed the carpet did a great job. That was the only redeeming factor of the whole thing. I probably should have just had them leave because I am going to always have negative feelings about the carpet in the room. I don't understand how "professionals" can't do their job. They should have just let me order the 18x15 piece because obviously I know what I am doing more than they do. I would not recommend them. We still have to finish our basement and wanted to have the same flooring but we will not be using this company again. I will be going somewhere else and highly recommend you do the same if you want carpet.
