SO DISHONEST! DOES HORRIBLE WORK! JUST LOOK AT THE PHOTOS. REFUSED TO REFUND OUR MONEY OR FIX MISTAKES! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Please take the time to read this before you hire Tele. We are building our first home, and are new to the construction game. Tele seems super nice until you give him a deposit, then the conman reveals himself. We hired him to pour our front porch steps and planters. He is also extremely overpriced. We learned just how overpriced too late though. (Get lots of quotes before you decide on someone. Now we know.) The longer Tele talks about the work he has to do the higher the price gets. He assured us the concrete would be a smooth brushed finish, and look amazing without having to do any plaster. We agreed on a price, and wrote up a contract that consisted of 3 almost 18ft wide floating steps with planters, and an 8'x 35' walkway totaling 10,500 dollars. I made 2 changes after we wrote up the contract. The changes were very minor. I decided to just do 1 planter instead of 2. Tele said it was no problem. He made sure to remind us multiple times that he was doing us a favor, and giving us such a good deal. Which was a lie. He AGREED to the changes I made to the planter, and proceeded with our job without rewriting a new contract. He began with pouring our planter retaining walls before starting the steps. We went to check his work after we returned home from a trip, and were stunned. He actually make-shifted forms out of a bunch of random old broken boards, and filled it with hand mixed concrete. The concrete was spilling out between the boards. The furthest thing from a smooth beautiful finish we were promised. Not only do the walls look absolutely horrible, but HE DIDN'T POUR A FOOTING underneath the walls. Concrete 101. Basically the planter is guaranteed to crack and collapse over time. We were even more appalled after seeing the result under his make shift forms. It's unacceptable work, the opposite quality we were promised. Any honest business would refund someone's money for such work OR at least fix their mistake. Not Tele. I asked him to stop the job, and refund our 6,000 dollar deposit for his unacceptable work or redo the walls and start over. He refused both options, saying the planter was a small job that I added after we signed the contract, and he charges 3,000 dollars for small jobs. This was not a small job, it is an UNFINISHED LARGE JOB. He is actually saying that piece of crap planter costs 3,000 dollars! No one would pay 3,000 for that garbage. We refused to accept that amount. He still only refunded us 50% of our 6,000 deposit, and used the rest to pay himself for his horrible uncompleted work without our consent or agreement. He is now ignoring all my texts, and is still keeping our money. Tele is a dishonest person. Please do not hire him. He destroyed the curb appeal of our brand new home. We had them come pour concrete and then realized a sprinkler was not capped off under the concrete so they came and tore it up and then asked for another 700$ to re pour and when we said we already paid $4500 for the job and it was their mistake, they have never come back since and we're left with the mess. We have reported them to the better business bureau as well. read more

Honestly this is the first time I have ever posted a review of business. I have used about 30 subcontractors building our home and they have all been good honest people. Expert concrete, Tele, is the exact opposite. He is dishonest and does not do a good job. I would not recommend using him to Anyone. read more

He was very fast and very nice. His communication was fantastic, I always knew where we were with the project and how much time was left before it was done. We laid probably about 2,000 sq ft of concrete - replacing and expanding a 300 sq ft existing patio. He did it from start to finish in 3 days. He accidentally took my shovel and quickly brought it back to me when I asked about it. I would highly reccomend him to any friends! read more

I hired Expert Concrete when I saw them doing my neighbor's driveway. Realized he had done several in my neighborhood and they were holding up well. Tele was very responsive and they got the job done quickly as promised. My driveway looks great and they were good to clean up after and offer advise about sealing it. read more

As others have written, Tele (the owner) is very quick, responsive and pleasant to get your business. After meeting with him on site (my house) And discussing what I wanted, I agreed to have him do my concrete pour for a driveway with 1/2 down and 1/2 on complete. What is happening: On the day of the pour, I went to work, and mid-day my wife called and said that they told her they were done and that she went ahead and paid them the final. I thought GREAT! The next couple days I left/returned home in the dark until the weekend. I found that my pad was only 2" across approximately 20% of the pour and not 4" as we had discussed. Tele's team left forms in place and also completed finish work barefoot and left foot prints mid-drive! I attempted to call multiple times and finally got Tele hoping to discuss the issues. He proceeded to tell me it was my problem and literally yelled at me for accusing him of not doing the work correctly. Concrete install was on 10-5-17 6 months now, I have sent countless messages and calls to Tele most of which are not returned. Intermittently he does returns call or text and gives typical blow-off responses or will say he will come out and then NO CALL NO SHOW. I am a business owner and I can understand possible internal hardships like bad employees, medical issues, etc. I have come to the conclusion that given the time I have tried to get him to resolve the problems Tele has no sense of long term customer service and relations Bottom line: I have a BAD concrete pour and at this point I will be taking legal action. read more

This is not a review I wanted to write, but I have tried for several weeks to get this contractor to fix his mistakes, and he is continually blowing us off. We hired him to pour some concrete and build a fence to keep our dog in. The fence has a large gap that our dog has been regularly escaping through. I let Tele know almost a month and a half ago and he keeps saying I will come make it right, but has never shown up and has not communicated when he says he will come by and doesn't. They also left our yard a mess, left two large piles of dirty, garbage, and didn't reinstall our rain gutter that they removed. I have contacted the Department of Professional Licensing in regards to Expert Concrete and Telenoti Petelo and they have had several complaints against him and he has been fined from their department before. He is UNLICENSED and UNINSURED. DOPL let me know yesterday that they will be fining him again and possibly filing criminal charges at this point. read more

The owner Teletino told me last Spring that he is a licensed contractor. When I asked to see his contractor's license, he said he only had a photo of it in his cell phone, but couldn't find the photo of it because it's a new cell phone. So I gave him a $250 deposit. That was Friday night. When the office for contractor's licenses opened Monday morning, I called there and was informed that Teletino has no contractor's license and it was against the law for him to tell me that he's a licensed contractor when he isn't, so they sent someone to administer the penalties for his violation. When I called Teletino, he promised to refund me the $250 dollars if I would remove my review about him. I told him I will remove it when he refunds me the money. It's a year later and he still hasn't refunded me the money. I'm taking him to small claims court because I have proof of payment and a recording of him admitting he lied and promising to refund my money. read more
