These guys did an AMAZING job and the price was unbeatable. We were initially hesitant because Michael approached us about our driveway and having heard about concrete scammers I was worried we were getting taken for a ride. When we voiced our concerns to Mike he went above and beyond to reassure us by providing references, etc. he was easy to get ahold of through the whole process and within about a week of meeting Mike we had our old driveway hauled away and a beautiful new one in its place! read more

I called early last week and scheduled an estimate for Friday at 11 with Mike. He never showed up and did not even call. I called and go voicemail, left a message asking for someone to call me back. That was now 4 days ago and no one has called me back. I've tried several times since then and get voicemail. This is seriously unprofessional. read more

Caution. DO NOT do business with this company. Michael George is a scam artist. The company address for his business is a UPS store in Aurora. He will come collect 50% of the money for the job.....he may start the job and break up some of the concrete but then will start making excuses and then never call back and will never finish the job. He deserves to be arrested for felony theft. read more

They will give you an awesome price, take your deposit to get you scheduled because they are very busy and only have a limited window of opportunity, and never show up. I feel like it was a scam from the beginning. They said they would put a new finish on my driveway for $1500. The job they did was terrible and when I called they said no problem they would come out to fix as we had a 3 year guarantee. That was 5 days ago and have seen no one and now they won't answer the phone. read more

This job has been a nightmare since we contracted with them in June. First we were told that the job HAD to be done on July 6th and that they needed a 30% deposit. We were able to make that work however when the time came to do the job they said that we had cancelled it and that we were not on the schedule at all. We pointed out that if we had cancelled then where was the deposit at? They then said that they would come out to start the work on the 6th and they never showed up or called. We tried contacting them but they are not very good about answering the phone or calling back. We set up another appointment with them to start the work and they came pulled some of the sidewalk up and left. So we set up another appointment. I think things would have gone better if they had sent someone who could communicate with us. So we called again and were again told that we cancelled the job which we had not. So another day and they came and took out all most of the area that was suppose to be redone and left it on the grass in the yard and then left. Another week goes by and my mother who is disabled has to figure out how to get in and out of her home while the sidewalk is torn up. We call and finally they said they would come to pour. I told Mike that there is no way the area is ready for a pour. They were still large chunks of concrete in the walkways and the grass areas that were to removed were not done yet. They had not leveled the area or used the Viber plate to compact the ground. I was told that that would all be fixed on the day before the pour. Finally the day of the pour came and the guys he sent out to do the job were very nice but they had no idea what they were walking into. They still did not Viber plate the ground although they did try and clean the area the best they could. No plastic or splash guards were put up so as the cement was poured it splashed back on the siding of the house, the porch and even a little on my mom's car. As the pour continued they saw that they were no going to have enough cement to finish the whole job, so Mike bought out a few bags and they mixed it up on site. This of course means that the sidewalk is two different colors and styles of cement. After they were done working they said that they would come back to remove the molds and the broken concrete out of the yard. I asked Mike when they would be coming back to finish the job which was to replace a gate and some of the fence and he said he needed a couple of weeks to get things together for that. I called and sent an email on 08-06-18, a month after the job was to be done and two months after the contract was signed, to try and find out when they were going to come and finish the job. Expert Concrete just replaced my driveway and added a sidewalk and they look great. I found Expert Concrete through a Val Pak (Valu Pak?) coupon. The crew was polite and respectful and cleaned up nicely. The company has been easy for me to contact and work with. read more

They came out to give me an estimate, they were far cheaper on the estimate then anyone else. The owner Mike wanted half down right away to even schedule a date, I informed him I didn't think that was far since they have not done any work and taking 50% of the cost before even starting sounded like a scam. Finally after multiple conversation back and forth, we agreed to 20% and that they would start in the beginning of June. They were supposed to send us a contract, Mike the owner and little mike the estimator both told me they would email it to me. Never happened, I tried calling them and received their receptionist, she said she would get a hold of them and send over the contract.. Never happened, a week later I call again, asking where the contract was? She said she promised she would send it by the end of the day, once again never happened. Wanted us to charge our credit card before doing the work...then Michael completely ignored our calls and emails and even lied to the credit card company and told them he did the work.
